And after lots of research and a couple different consultations, I chose to work with him. I strongly believe he's not only one of the best surgeons in WA, but also one of the best in the business. After reading all of the other stellar reviews of people who were ecstatic with their results and also reading about his impressive credentials, I was convinced. But our in person consult also told me that he was a confident surgeon who knew exactly what he was doing. I understood the risks involved in surgery as best as I could but also knew that if anyone was going to get it right, it was going to be him. And I'm so glad I did. I would highly suggest reading as many detailed reviews as possible and doing extensive research on any procedure you intend to have. There are so many reasons people may want to elect to have a surgery but if you've made it so far as to be ready to pull the trigger on it, just make sure your fully prepared. One thing to keep in mind is that while you will look AMAZING weeks or even months later, you will have to be patient with your results until then. Very patient. It is hard to go into something wanting to look and feel better but to actually look and feel worse until you've fully healed. But that is a part of the process and the commitment that surgery takes. You will be so happy you did this, but the results aren't exactly instant. You have to commit to healing. Take care of yourself and do everything Amadi suggests. He is a wise and skilled professional who's pre and post of care instructions are there for good reasons. And if you have any questions, ask! Ask ALL the questions! You are spending good money on this and you deserve to have every resource available to you. And his team will gladly help you. I must've called so many times about questions...and they promptly and patiently answered all of them with care and kindness. He and his team are there to make you as happy and comfortable as they possibly can, utilize them and they're knowledge. My life is so much better after Dr. Amadi's help. I finally look my age and my face reflects my health and happiness. I no longer waste time and money on creams that were never going to solve the real issue. I no longer stress about taking photos. And my confidence has seen a huge boost! The difference is subtle to everyone around me but also huge. To my friends and family, I simply look more refreshed and rested, but to me, I finally look and feel the way I've been wanting to for a very long time(even though I'm still very young). READ THIS this before setting up a consultation with Dr. Amadi!!…read more I'm very DISAPPOINTED with this practice! Dr Amadi & his practice reneged on an agreement they made with me. I was very specific in stating that I was exploring surgical procedures and I may not be able to accommodate a surgical procedure. I said I would only agree to spend $250 on a consult with him if I could use it toward a non-surgical procedure like injectables if I decided not to move forward. They agreed, and now, they are RENEGING on that promise!! They have no problem now that they have your money!! They've apologized for the misunderstanding, but will not make any exception or offer any kind of concession. So be clear, that when you give them $250 or more to have a consultation with Dr. Amadi, you will lose that amount if you decide not to do a surgical procedure or decide not to move forward with him. They will justify this action by saying he takes 1.5hrs of his time to consult with you. I did not dispute that. I was clear of the time he was spending but again, they said I could apply it to a non-surgical procedure. I thought this was fair because I kept the money in his practice. I was not asking for my money back. Aside from this, their front desk and Dr Amadi were nice. You have choices! Do your research and ask for their policies. Ask how they do their consultations. Get things in writing. As a sidenote, from my experience & opinion, 1.5hrs is not needed when you're just exploring options and doctors for the first time. You want to talk with other Plastic surgeons to get their inputs, costs and policies. Most of these intro level appointments have not been more than 30 to 60 minutes elsewhere. And if I wanted to explore further wi a doctor I booked another appointment. If Dr Amadi wants to run his practice this way, that's his choice. Just be very clear that you will lose that money if you choose not to do surgery with him.

Ironically, my…read morefriend ended up having her surgery done by a different surgeon--and after seeing my results, she told me she wished she had gone to Dr. Chang herself. From the very first consultation, I found Dr. Chang to be friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and generous with her time. She spent as long as I needed walking me through her recommendations and explaining what she felt would truly improve my appearance. I came in wanting to address droopy eyelids and to look more refreshed and youthful. Dr. Chang recommended an endoscopic brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning, and fat transfer from my abdomen to my face. It was a four-hour surgery. The first few days of recovery were tough, but I healed surprisingly quickly and was back out in the world within about 10 days, with minimal bruising and swelling. The results have been amazing. My face looks exactly like me--just refreshed, rested, and more youthful. Nothing looks overdone or unnatural, which was very important to me. I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Chang if you're considering eyelid surgery or facial rejuvenation. Her skill, judgment, and care truly show in the results.

I am a 48 year old female, and think I look pretty good, but, I was starting to notice some sagging under my chin (chicken neck) and it was making me self conscious. I consulted with Lauren and Dr. Larrebee and the conclusion of that consultation was either a lower face lift or Ultherapy(ultrasonic tightening). I weighed out both options, and went for the Ultherapy. First thing you need to know, is the process is at times painful, and there is a bit of discomfort. Lauren and her staff do everything they can to minimize the pain and or discomfort (painkillers, and distraction therapy) It's only been a few days since I saw Lauren for my Ulthera so, I can't tell how it's going to look as it takes several weeks to see the results, but I think I'm going to love the way my lower face turned out and will go back and have it done again when I need to. The one thing I really want you to know about Lauren, is that she is very knowledgeable, she takes time and does the research to find the right lasers, chemical peels and skincare products for the Larrabee center. I can go to any clinic, but when it comes to facial tweaking, Lauren is the only person I want working on me.

He did not greet me before the surgery nor after the surgery. It was a botched procedure. Like I said, Larrabee told me he was experienced with Dermabrasion. In my view, he had never done this before or had such little experience, he did not know what he was doing. I am not the only one who feels this way with comments from dermatologists and plastic surgeons like, "... he didn't even 'feather out' a transition between treated skin and non-treated skin." Theodore Roosevelt: "To educate a person in the mind but not in morals is to educate a menace to society." Like all victims, I blamed myself for doing the wrong thing in selecting Larrabee as the person to work on my face. He left grooves, divots and deep scarres. It was truly a horrific outcome. Tax laws changed in early 1990s. The change made cosmetic surgery a non tax deductible item for federal 1040 tax returns. Many providers planned for the changes. Only the poorest planners ended up empty handed or with poor cash flow. Dermabrasion, which is a mechanical procedure, takes years of work and practice. You can't imagine how my life changed because of his lack of integrity. My face was permanently scarred. After 10s of thousands of dollars of treatments and procedures, I am not anywhere close to recovery either physically, emotionally, or financially. I can provide a letter from Larrabee in which he states that, "my age was the primary cause of any problems I may have." This is just not true.

Dr. Carey was so kind, calming, and wonderful throughout this whole process of getting this removed. His staff made everything seamless with scheduling, and answered any questions I had and were so kind when they could probably sense my panic at times about things. Dr. Leavitt and his team do not seem to value patients's time and resources. They recommended costly and time-consuming procedures that turned out to be utterly unnecessary. They could have called my optometrist after my initial visit to find out that my vision won't be corrected to 20/20 - many LASIK surgery providers make it a routine practice to understand how your vision is corrected with lenses before recommending procedures to improve your vision - but instead they asked me to come back for 2 more times for additional tests, and then told me they will reach out to my optometrist to find our how my vision is with lenses. Judging from how much they are billing to my insurance for each visit where I wait 45 min to 1 hour just to be able hear the doctors talk for 5min, they are clearly motivated by financial gains instead of the patients' well being. And yes, the wait is extremely long in their waiting room. During one of my visits, after waiting for 30 min, I asked the receptionist if the doctor will see me soon, her response was "oh, you are still here? no one called you yet?" I have never seen a clinic so unprofessionally managed my whole life!!

Many doctors where hesitant to operate as reconstruction with this type of vasculitis can have serious complications. After being in remission for a few years I met with Dr Lamperti as he has experience with reconstruction in vasculitis patients. Not only did he do an excellent job but he is super kind and has a wonderful bed side manner! one star disclaimer: i did not get a procedure done by dr lamperti, but i did wait for 40 minutes…read moreover my appointment time for him to come to the exam room for a rhinoplasty consultation. he said he was with another patient but no one bothered to tell me that he would be running late. i came into the appointment excited about changing my biggest insecurity and learning more about the process, and i literally left in tears because i felt so disrespected and not cared for. not the kind of doctor i want operating on me. he did refund my $100 consult fee, and offered a free rescheduling but i declined. a note to dr. lamperti, many if not all of your patients come to you to make them feel better about themselves, when it seems like their doctor doesn't care about them or their schedule it can make people feel even worse.
