We went here last night for the first time. It was at 8:30 before closing at 9. I was surprised at how small it was. There was a line in the drive through (about 4 cars) ahead of us. A young lady came out and took our order. When we atrived at the window, we had to give our order again. 3 funnel cakes were $35! What? Then we told to pull up to the front. It's now 9pm. We waited. To me, this meant it's freshly made and it better be worth $35!! First, the guy brought out the orders one by one opened. Second, one of my orders was wrong. Third, it took a total of 50 minutes from arrival to departure. The funnel cakes were delicious and thick. They were fresh and the size of two. Should have been $8 each vs $12.50. This place is great for summertime or winter time since they have funnel cakes and snow cones. Drive-through or walk up really cool patio to sit and hang out and so many flavors to try. If you get the funnel cake, you can get Cookie Monster, cookies, and cream, or one comes with a whole drumstick ice cream, yum! So many soft and delicious snowcone flavors as well. I've only been here a few times, but it never disappoints! They have some of the greatest selections from desserts to snacks, and much more. It's one of Grand Prairie's best gems when you're craving something sweet or just something on the side. I also love how friendly and top tier they are with their customers as well. Did not have the flavor I asked for a couple different times this week. Yes, not a massive deal at all I understand. However, I got something different. Regardless of the flavor that I got, the whole thing (ice) tasted like dirty dish water. The other member of my party got the same thing and it was good down until the last 1/3 or 1/2 of the snow cone. Also very big chunks of ice taking up big portions of my snow cone. Just not good. Finally made my way out to Steph's Chill Ville and the sno cones are amazing!!!! Got a half cherry & half blue raspberry with sour squirt for my Hubby and a banana fudge for myself. When I tell you they were worth the wait I MEAN it!!! Very flavorful and the syrup DID NOT drop straight to the bottom leaving the top of the snocone white and flavorless. Lines are definitely shorter and quicker if you walk up and I was fortunate enough to receive my order just before it started pouring down raining. I was in the area and looked for a snow cone and this place appeared. The drive through was long so we opted to walk up. They immediately took my order but I was disappointed that they did not take credit cards. Luckily I had a $10 bill and I was able to get 2 large snow cones with ice cream for under that price. I ordered strawberry snd my daughter ordered cotton candy. Both were filled with plenty of sweet flavoring. I did like the small writing that said "Each snow cone comes with a blessing" , how nice. The girls were so busy that my order was wrong "tigers blood instead of strawberry" but how could you tell. Being a fan of cheesecake I went with that one.There was another family of 4 before us, they must have ordered a lot of things because our two stephs specials took about 15-20 mins to come out. I had really high expectations and they were not met. I'm not a picky eater at all. The ice cream didn't taste like cheesecake at all. It tasted like that ice cream you buy in those cheap containers. I love this place - I do. The snow cones are great, the people are pretty friendly, the variety of snow cones and the creations they've come up with are also amazing. The only problem is, the drive thru. It is slow. I've been here twice in the past couple of weeks and both times there were 3 cars in front of me and I waited close to 40 minutes. They did apologize for the wait the second time, but something needs to be done about the drive thru. It's the slowest I've ever experienced and part of the reason I don't come here that often and I'm a snow cone addict.
