I've been going here for a while now and I have never been disappointed. I have been to many Snow cone stands and by far this is the best. They have shaved ice instead of crunchy ice which absorbs the flavor more than the other type. My only complaint is the customer service. The owner is sweet and polite but the "young" girls need to be a little nicer. Just a smile goes along way. Other than that you have to try this place. First let me say that sometimes you get snow cones and the one thing you want is a lot is of juice and you never get enough... not here my cone was so juicy from beginning to the end .. I got the black cherry and it was the bomb! I also got the nachos which reminded of how they use to come at the movie theaters they were fresh and the cheese and peppers were best!!! OMG!!!!! I have really been missing out. I found. This spot on YELP of course and finally decided to go today. My kids and I have been wanting snow cones with pickles since the little spot in Grand Prairie premium outlet closed for the winter. Tons of flavors to choose from and the snow cones were amazing. They even add a little powered look Aid to add a sweet and sour taste. Very great prices too!!!!! (UPDATE) I've tried to come here on several different occasions to sit and have my snow cone because it would be much more enjoyable to be able to sit instead of taking It "to go" in the car. There is a bad bug problem with wasps or something. I mean it it EXTREMELY bad. So the last three times I went I didn't even bother getting anything because the bugs won't allow you to sit any enjoy. The trash can that's on the deck is infested with what looks to be wasps. I'll come back after they find another place to put the trash can. :( read more

I have to say I've never physically been here because my husband will call me while he's out and about and say he's going to pick up some snow cones - what flavor did I want. I've had orange, dreamsicle with cream (heavenly), grape and a few other flavors. Awesome - the best and so refreshing in the summer. I love Tastee Ice! It's definitely the best snow cone stand in Grand Prairie. The prices are great, the snow cones are tasty (not full of chunks of ice), and the line is never too long even on the hottest day of summer. In addition to being all around awesome, Tastee Ice is open during early winter when other snow cone stands are still closed. So if it's ever a warm day in February, venture out to Tastee Ice. The only reason I keep going back is because the ice and the flavors are so good, the best in town. You can't get Tiger's Blood anywhere else that tastes as good as theirs. The flavor variety and "extras" are really good too. Can you get better customer service elsewhere though? Definitely. The girls that work here need to get an attitude adjustment. Snow cones are always good with Picadilly in my opinion. We also like the chamoy. Only complaint I have are the bee's, we live 15 min away - so we prefer to eat our snow cones there on the patio; except the bees are always flying around. If they would take the trash cans off the patio, and put them next to the building that would solve that problem. And it's very hot now, if they only had it covered! read more
