My mother was able to try out the scooter we were considering and James helped me learn how to take it apart and put it back together again. I found the pricing at Florida Mobility better than many places and I like that the scooter can be serviced here by Allen, who really knows what he's doing. We did ultimately buy the Pride Elite Traveler 4 wheeled scooter, from them, along with their batteries for life plan. No call back, no update, no confirmation that my prescription was received, no explanation of whether insurance authorization is pending, and no information at all about when I might actually receive the machine. This is not a minor customer service issue. This is prescribed medical equipment that I need for my sleep apnea, and the lack of communication has been incredibly frustrating and concerning. At this point, I do not even know if my order is being processed or if it has fallen through the cracks completely. I understand delays can happen, especially with medical equipment and insurance, but there is no excuse for leaving a patient with no information after multiple attempts to reach the office. A simple return call would have made a huge difference. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location. The lack of responsiveness and follow-through has made an already stressful medical situation even worse.
