Parking is a little cramped but we were able to get a good spot. There is a little place at the top of the hill. You can get food. We were there on a Saturday. The place was very busy. They don't do tastings in this room so we headed down the hill to the tasting room. We had a big group but the server was great at keeping up with the options that we wanted. The wine i got try was really good. The bride to be in our party ended up getting a couple bottles. We also got to sit and enjoy a glass. All the staff was really nice and helpful. If we had had more time I would have loved to sit and enjoyed a few more glasses.

The service, food quality, and cleanliness fell well short of reasonable expectations. It took approximately 20 minutes simply to place our order and another 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The table we were seated at was sticky and still had water rings from previous guests. After waiting about 10 minutes with no attention, I had to go to the bar myself to request a cloth to wipe the table and to obtain menus. While the restaurant did not appear particularly busy, it was clearly understaffed. Our party of five ordered sandwiches, one appetizer, and one beer (the rest of us had water). The total came to $134. The bill was presented on a handheld device, and when I asked for an itemized receipt, I was told one was not available. This only added to the frustration of an already poor experience. I left feeling embarrassed for the Lake area and regretful that I had brought guests there. I will absolutely not return.

No issue with staff, although the lady at the ticket counter seemed bothered by having to help us. Strange since that's the point of this arcade...get tickets, buy some junk and move along. Dogpatch has an arcade next door and it's a really great selection of skee ball, old uprights, pinball, and some modern things. I spent some time here on a recent trip and played pinball and skee ball. It was great. If I have one complaint it's that it was an almost 100 degree day and since the building isn't enclosed it was super-hot in there and I was sweating profusely from the game play! I'll be back. My strife is with the website that charges you a $2 convenience fee PER TICKET yet it's not really convenient since you're still forced to wait in the ticket line to scan your QR code. That is ridiculous to me but the staff assured me that was "the head office" and they would change if they could. The staff is friendly and helpful and served me with a smile both times I went while on vacation. They have great deals on Tuesday's and my grandma seems pleased with their loyalty card.

The staff was warm and welcoming. We went there to have drinks not to eat. I am sorry I did not get to eat as the menu options were tempting. After a few drinks I ordered a bowl of clam chowder that was superb. I am so excited to go back in the summer to sit on their patio over the lake and try more of their food items! MOST IMPORTANTLY the best part of this entire experience was how AWESOME the tasting bartender Lewella was. She not only had great recommendations but an outstanding personality and was so fun to meet and chat with, she made us feel so welcome and I couldn't help but get a bottle of wine to remember the experience.
