I ordered wood shutters from Accent less than 3 years ago. One of the shutters now will not close…read morecorrectly, so I taped it shut. Then contacted Accent and the lady at the desk said they have a repair person who could come out to check on the shutter. And she informed me there was a $135 fee for the visit. But she also said that if it were a quick fix there would be no charge. A week later repair man came and checked out the shutter and said it only needed a slight adjustment He proceeded to change the settings on the side of the shutter with a screw driver, and it worked fine. The repair took less than 2 minutes. And he left.....a true "quick fix". Subsequently receive a bill for $85 from the repair. The invoice said $135, less $50 for the quick repair. I called and was told by Carol it was a correct charge as they blocked a hour for my repair and they had to collect. I responded that I was told there would be no charge if it were it were a quick fix. She then proceeded to tell me that whoever told me that was wrong. HELLO!!! So if you need a repair from Accent, beware of any talk about no charge for a quick fix. I believe $85 was excessive given the nature of the repair. So they get a fast and dirty 2 STARS........

April 29, 2026 - Installers came out to hang the blinds BUT noticed that ALL the valences and some parts were missing. They informed the company and said they had to come out again to finish the job. My bedroom windows and wall art had to be covered with paper since the sun coming in made the bedroom too hot--and privacy was an issue. May 14, 2026 - One of the slats on the new blinds fell off by itself! I had only used it a couple of times since installation. I called Tafoya contractors to see if someone could fix it on Monday June 8, 2026 at 10:00. No answer. June 2026 - Several times now, I was told that the missing parts are "in transit." Unfortunately, I have already paid almost $3,600 and it is months later--still don't know when the parts to complete my blinds will arrive. In the past 20 years, I have always ordered from 3 Day Blinds when I needed window coverings.... Maybe the company should rename themselves : Three Months or More Blinds. This review is for the solid warranty service I received after purchasing the window coverings. One of my blinds broke, so I called Phil Wilson. He immediately arranged a time to come pick up the blinds in order to send them back to the company for repair. Other than a small shipping fee, everything was covered under warranty. Once the blinds were repaired, Phil came to reinstall them in my home, and now they work as good as new! Excellent warranty and customer service. Thank you again Phil!
