    Creme brulee

Service was terrific!! I love the ambiance, there was live music, and the decor inside creates a great vibe! To start off, the bone marrow was packed with flavor and they served a great amount. I wish the bread was less toasted, it was like a crostini. That is just a personal preference, still tasted great!! The sides are large portions so we shared two and an entree. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! I will say the star of the night was the creme brulee.... It was the best I've had! Not too sweet, the sugar was brulee perfectly and the berries on top complimented it so well.

The Ambiance was nice. It was on the older feel, kinda dark but was very well put together. The service was good. The waitress was very knowledgeable and was quite helpful. The food in the other hand was quite over priced. I'm sure it maybe priced competitively for this area but it was lacking a little flavor as well. I was extremely close to asking for steak sauce which should never happen if the steak is seasoned properly. I've been to much lower priced steak house chains that season way better. The cuts of the meat were very good cuts though. The steaks all seemed to be cooked a proper temperature so it was just an issue with seasoning the food properly. The platting of the food was good. Presentation of the seafood platter was a head turner. Overall this steakhouse I would put it in the middle of the pack and probably would not return.

As steak houses go, I eat a lot of high end this is a about MEH average. Got a tomahawk to share for three, to be honest it was below average. The ribeye was about what a high end steak house should do. The Mash was decent and the roasted Brussels were way too burnt. The live entertainment was fun and easy on the ears. All in all not impressive not disappointing.

Steak was delicious and they had a special with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It even came with dessert. Service from Rise was excellent and they even had music playing. My son frequently comes here for dinner and now I know why! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and everything about this spot! We even saw a rainbow!

In town for Sundance & looking for a nice dinner we came out to Sterling and were not disappointed. I ordered the small filet, my wife ordered the ahi plate, both of which were prepared perfectly. Dessert was a very rich chocolate lava cake that was nice and rich. Service was excellent as well. The atmosphere was a rustic lodge feel. Highly recommend!

Went late on a weekday and enjoyed everything. Rose was great and the Tomahawk steak was well worth it. We had a party of six. Apps and sides were big enough to share. We'll be back again.

Excellent venue to chill out! "Atmosphere inside and out is fantastic! Food is delicious, especially the prime rib! Thoroughly recommend spending an evening chilling listening to music" Great Staff! We will be back. Thanks

Was looking for something upscale to enjoy the evening. They only had 4 star average but decided to give it a try. Ordered the ribeye and the baseball filet. Also the sterling fries and the wedge salad. First the place was mostly empty so the service was great. The full wedge salad was a full half head of lettuce so you could easily get the half size. It was great but needed to order extra dressing. The steaks were very good and flavorful. The ribeye was well marbled. The baseball steak was not as flavorful . The fries were also good and a large shareable serving. A few things that dropped my rating was that you don't just get bread but have to order it. Also ordered a coke but got a can with ice. No refills either. It is definitely high end and the $$$$ is what it means.

Chocolate Lava Cake - the best!

We loved everything about it! Great vibe, awesome decor, fantastic live music, super nice and helpful staff and delicious food. We had the Caesar salad, 10oz filet and broccoli. Everything was cooked perfectly and the steak was melt in your mouth to die for. Close to the best steak I've ever had. Delicious bernaise sauce and the chocolate lava cake was the perfect ending. This is definitely our new go to place in Park City.

We ended up at Hearth and Hill because of the Yelp reviews, and I'm glad we did. The lunch menu was pretty small, and we almost left. Our server told us what he liked and why, so we trusted him and ordered what he recommended, I'm really glad we did. Everything was great, the fries were so good and we loved biscuits! (Forgot to take a pic of those) only bummer was the house ketchup, it was not my favorite. Was glad they had regular on hand. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean and a nice change of pace from what we were eating the whole trip. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Park City.

When we requested a table, the host informed us there was an active reservation for our table in 1.5 hour and we could dine as long as we could be gone by that time. That took me by surprise as the restaurant was very much empty. We were too invested now to find a different restaurant, but it felt degrading. So, I agreed to vacate our dining table on time, if they could ensure our food would be served in 30 min. So, we sit and order hastily. So, here a hastily written review to match our dining experience. The cheddar biscuits were tasty. The smash burger is just another burger with a side of fries. It had some fun Parmesan crisp for extra flavor and texture. The birria tacos were very unexciting in flavor. The burrata salad was interesting, and sparked my culinary curiosity. I didn't want to push my luck with dessert. To not overstay our welcome, we paid and skedaddled. Although I felt rushed and judged, the server was polite and kind. In conclusion, the food ranged from interesting to disappointing, but service was great. Maybe next time I'll make a reservation for a table that comes without a hot timer... if there is a next time. Also, when we left, only about 30% of the tables looked occupied. The forced rush was really unnecessary.

She never said her name or what her position was at the restaurant. It was over 100 degrees on this day. I was carrying coconut water to stay hydrated. When I sat down she approached me & said it was illegal to bring outside drinks into a restaurant. Illegal? What a liar? What was her purpose? To try and scare me? Am I going to be arrested? There is no law in Utah or any federal law in the USA that states it's illegal to bring an outside drink into a restaurant. All she had to do is say "I apologize but we prefer no outside drinks in this restaurant, may you please place it under the table" and everything would've been fine. Nope she wanted to try an intimidate me. Maybe she's prejudice towards Latinos. It is Utah but who knows? The food was great, the Latina waitress was nice too. When I got the check, I used my business card to pay, I just paid off the balance on the card on Friday but it was Saturday & the payment didn't clear yet. Not knowing this the card declined. No big deal... But instead of my waitress coming to my table to inform me my card declined, it was Pipi Longstocking (White woman, curly red hair) again... Letting everyone sitting around us know my card declined. I used my Business Amex Platinum this time and that was that. I really enjoyed my dinner with my wife. This restaurant is on a second floor so if you've been on the slopes and jello-legged - be prepared for a few steps. The space is nice and the service was so kind and inviting. It can get a little loud depending on who the other patrons are. We've been where the din has been muted but also there when raucous kids provided an unwanted accompaniment to dinner. The food is definitely top notch and the servers are happy to provide some insights to what is good. Complimentary hummus with crudite kicks off the meal - but don't be afraid to order the bread it's carbolicous and baked in house. What we've had: * Fried mushrooms. A mix of battered and fried earthy goodness. We liked this and those who like these nightshades will too * Spicy clams. A big hit with us with the slight spice to it - dip the crusty bread in the broth and savor * Creamy Celeriac Soup. A delightful surprise - a creamy soup that has wonderful flavor accented by the spice oil. I would recommend this for soup lovers. * Miso Chilean Sea Bass. A very solid dish with greens and lotus roots. It's not a huge portion but enough. * Crispy Duck Leg - Delicious and full of flavor and the potato perogis are a great accompaniment * Filet Mignon - This was a perfect medium rare and a well composted dish. The Yukon potato mash - ridiculously good (we ordered more to go) * Banana Cream Pie Stack - this topped off a great meal For a cocktail - The Night Shift was a winner.

Appetizer wise we tried the baked brie dessert wise tried the baked Alaska, and banana pudding. The baked brie came with lingonberry pomegranate jam and crackers, but the rind gave it a bit of a stronger flavor than expected and it didn't quite hit for us. The desserts overall were decent, but none were standout enough that we'd go out of our way to order them again. One thing that stood out was that it felt a little pushy toward ordering entrées, even though we mentioned we were just there for drinks and dessert. Happy to come again and try the entrees maybe that is where they truly shine.

In terms of attire, it's a mixed bag as with other places here.. we were pretty casual but some were dressed up a bit more. Our server was wonderful, and the food and drink was phenomenal. This was, hands down, the best meal we had in Park City. We started with cocktails. The gin cocktail I had was the perfect combination of floral and citrus and left me wanting more. My husband enjoyed his as well. The wine menu here is insanely overpriced, so next time I'd ask the corkage fee to consider bringing our own bottle. They brought out a bread that was cooked with a Japanese seasoning on it and a side of butter, and it was delicious. The bison was the best thing we ate; incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, if we lived here we would be back often for this. The elk was very good as well, with fresh herbs that helped bring out the flavor. Can't go wrong with either of these dishes but the bison was the star to us. My daughter ordered the kids pasta with butter and parm, and my son ordered the kids chicken fingers which came with potato wedges. Both were a good portion for children. For the sides, we ordered the Japanese sweet potatoes and the fried rice. The sweet potatoes were something different and were tasty but not our favorite or something we would order again. The fried rice with egg was delicious; it was full of sliced garlic and amazingly seasoned, we could not help but finish it all. At the time of the check, our server offered cotton candy for the kids. It was very flavorful and soft. It was a nice finishing touch. The spicy tuna on top was really flavorful and well balanced, bringing just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. The miso soup was also a pleasant surprise -- the portion size was generous and perfect for sharing. It was warm, comforting, and a great start to the meal. We also ordered the karaage. Unfortunately, this was the weakest dish for me. The chicken itself didn't have much flavor, and if it weren't for the dipping sauce it would have been quite bland. It was also made with dark meat, which I'm personally not a big fan of. The hamachi nigiri was fantastic. The fish tasted incredibly fresh and clean, and the simplicity of the dish really let the quality of the hamachi shine. Another standout was the Wasatch roll -- a true dynamite roll with lots of flavor and fresh hamachi. Every bite had great texture and balance. To end the meal, everyone was given a small bowl of cotton candy, which was a fun and unexpected touch. I hadn't had cotton candy in years, and it was a playful way to finish the night. Overall, there were some great highlights, especially the sushi and fresh fish, and the experience had a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
