Excellent service by the Bartender Larry, we mentioned we were in a bit of a rush to catch our flight but we still felt we dined very elegantly and it was splendid service. The ambiance was a bit fancy but some people were dressed casually. Food was prepped very quickly, our drink was amazing, it was one of the best Old fashioned I've had in a while. For our food we got the fois grois, steak sashimi, and the bone marrow to share. Portions were perfect for the two of us to share and still be pretty satisfied. The fois grois was a bit too rich for me, but Jen loved it. The bone marrow was a bit dry with the arepa and the fritter needing a bit more of the mouse and bone marrow to make it more satisfying. The star was the wagyu steak sashimi. It was a perfect bite and hit the spot. The tenderness was otherworldly and with the wasabi it was a blissful bite, especially when dipped in the au jois and with the mashed potatoes. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and even though we were constrained by time, we really enjoyed ourselves and the service simply was exemplary. I've had popover at other places with house made butter that changes all the time and I always liked it so I was excited. But the 2 came to us were cold, hard and not fresh, the butter was regular butter that was cold and hard. We also ordered edge salad recommended by the bartender but it only had 1 tiny asparagus that was split in 2, couple of tiny slices of avocado, tiny chips, some butter lettuce, it was boring and we also got beets salad which was also boring. Four of us dined one evening and experienced several issues! This place is supposed to be a high-end, fine dining steakhouse, and even with prices that are higher than most other top of the line steakhouses, the food was not high end. The ambiance is nice and the service very good, but those did not make up for the issues. The popovers (complimentary with the meal) were not warm, so the butter did not melt and were chewy and lacked flavor. The onion soup was lukewarm, the lobster tails were overcooked, very salty, and tough and the butter got cold quickly since the restaurant does not use butter warmers like most restaurants that offer lobster, especially the pricy ones! They were supposed to be 8 oz. tails; however, they seemed much smaller than that. One of the steaks was not edible - it had a significant amount of fat and grizzle, and the remaining meat was tough; steaks that others in our party ordered were good. Most everything came to the table warm, not hot, except the side serving of mushrooms which were great! The menu offered at the table was significantly different than what was posted that day (and still now) on their website, so we were unable to order what we had planned when we choose this restaurant - the selections across all categories were much narrower (starters, steaks, sides, etc.) Several items on the menu at the table were not even available which we didn't find out until we tried to order them instead of being told when the menus were handed to us; we had an early seating, so it wasn't as if they ran out of the items that day - it must have been an inventory snafu. Next time we will be trying the other steakhouses in Park City and won't be returning to Edge because we are not confident that we can count on a delicious meal for all! read more

Husbands Waygu steak was delicious as expected. The Seabass was fishier than I expected. The Cinderella story was the sides- my goodness.. the brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese were some of the best we've ever had!!! Highly recommend both. Crème brûlée was our favorite of the desserts we tried. They also ended the meal with a chocolate- come hungry!!! The service was top notch. Wow! Everything about this dining experience was phenomenal. The service and the food were stand out amazing. We were seated right away and brought to a spacious round table for 6. Drinks, bread, appetizers and entrees were timed perfectly. It ended up being a multiple hour dining experience because of the courses we ordered. The cocktails were lovely. We tried several, including one with cocktail with muddled strawberries and another with elderflower. Delicious. The bread is outstanding. It is basically a giant puffy piece of cheesy bread. We all struggled to not finish it so we could save room for the next food. The server also brings an amuse bouche, which was a small crostini. We ordered the small seafood tower, which was so fresh and delicious! It comes with about 5 different dipping sauces including cocktail sauce and melted butter. We also had the beet and goat cheese salad, the spicy shrimp, the lobster bisque and the wedge salad. The lobster bisque was my favorite part of the meal. They pour the hot soup over and small biscuit filled with lobster meat. The steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned! The flavor of the filet mignon was immaculate. The side dishes were big enough to share. We loved the truffle mac n cheese. We were stuffed beyond belief but we could not skip desert! The bread pudding was amazing! I wish I had more appetite left to eat more of it. Definitely recommend sharing deserts. The portions are large! This place was ALL show and NO go. Don't waste your money! They pretend to be a high-end steakhouse, but the food is just not good at all! My Kansas City strip was supposed to be medium and was well cooked 90% throughout, it was tough meat, and one bite tasted funky bordering on spoiled. The truffle twice baked potato was dry and it was hard like it was left over from days ago, and it was just plain gross tasting. Our waiter kept suggesting I take pictures and post them on social media which was just weird and awkward. The only thing that was good was the smoked old fashioned, my martini was terrible. i don't know how this restaurant has positive reviews, it's a total fake and i'm embarrassed i spent so much money when i could have gotten a better steak and sides at a chain restaurant. We started with some amazing drinks and the Seafood Appetizer. It was delicious and had lots of options. I recommend to share and you won't be disappointed. We love the bread they serve. I tried to bake some at home but they were not nearly as delicious as we had Edge. They are warm, fluffy and so light. We each had a different cut or size of filet. The Wagyu beef ruined me. It is the best!!! Highly recommend if you are a filet lover. And we ended with the chocolate soufflé. I don't know if this is still on the menu but it is the best soufflé in town. We celebrated Bryan's birthday here while visiting Park City. It was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to find Japanese A5 Wagyu in the middle of Utah. They did swap our steaks accidentally - we ordered medium rare & Bryan ordered medium, but we were all being polite and didn't realize the steaks were switched until we were nearly done with them. We thought they overcooked ours & Bryan thought they undercooked his steak. Other than that, everything was delicious! The steak was even good cooked medium... which I normally would never say out loud. I loved the truffle mac & cheese with demi-glace. I'll be making my mac & cheese like that from now on. Five of us had exceptional meals here. To start off they provided us with a complimentary ( tiny but delicious) crab appetizer as well as complimentary Gruyère popovers. I really enjoyed my time here. Our reservation was for 6 but it took us till about 6:15 to find the place lol. It's really odd to get through the hotel but once we arrived all that was forgotten. They took my coat, checked our reservation and escorted us to our table. Our server was extremely welcoming and also from San Francisco (bonus points for familiarity and a SF native in Park City lol). We don't drink so I opted for my fav VOSS water and I asked for it still but would have preferred to be asked if I wanted ice (I didn't and had a half a glass of it). Since I wasn't able to eat any salad or raw veggies and Chef wasn't willing to make a substitution for a soup instead for the set menu (first letdown of my experience) I ordered the chicken and my fiancé got the wagu with truffle Mac n cheese. We also got the cheese plate to share. All items we had leading up to dinner was really delicious. I can't really say I had any truly negative things about the food. Only that I did have my jus a bit solidified and I wish I would have been able to try one of the soups on their menu. With my dietary needs my server was extremely helpful and compassionate and didn't make things odd and appreciated me letting him know, I actually DO enjoy the food but I just cannot eat much or quickly. The pace of the meal was perfect. We spent about an hour and a half total and I left feeling completely satisfied from my meal. Getting my coat after dinner was kind of awkward since I was being escorted out prior to receiving it. I guess I have higher expectations of fine dining and was let down by the back and forth with this aspect of my evening and just the little things (we received an extra desert on the house because there was an element missing from the first one we got and started, and of course the water, as I am extremely picky about those little things).
