There is stuff everywhere. 2 knitting machines that are used infrequently. Textiles and fabrics getting dusty and dirty from dust and dirt. The place is for machines. Really sewing and textiles should have their own space. There must be a room available. I love to cook but would nvr use their kitchen, it is filthy! Everything should be covered in plastic and regularly cleaned. 2 entrances which is very dirty,not food safe!

Burroughs is a great asset to the community. I'm a big fan of the "Our Woven Community" program. It supports refugee women with opportunities to make and sell beautiful handbags, scarves and other items. I recently bought two tote bags as gifts for friends. The bags were lovely, unique, and each one included a biography of the woman who created it. My friends loved them! Our Woven Community doesn't have an official shop space in the Burroughs building, so I called ahead and when I got there the receptionist showed me bins full of items for sale. They also sell the products online and at craft fairs, farmers markets, etc. Half the proceeds go to the women directly, and the other half pays for supplies, equipment, and entrepreneurial skills training.

I reviewed and walked the premises of six different facilities and by far this establishment was the best in my opinion. There's a few reasons why, and I will explain. First off the staff, starting from Janelle and Courtney to the nurse Erin including all the aids made our family feel as though we were part of their family. It's a small establishment which I really appreciated. It made Mom feels though she was actually at home. I enjoy that she gets to taste all different types of food. They have fun and educational age appropriate crafts and activities for the kids. The teachers are kind and welcoming. Miss Lasheekah and miss Olivia are my kids favorite teachers. The older children do centers or stations and are always doing something fun or educational. You can talk to staff or pay your tuition all in an app set up with the school. Tuition also covers diapers and milk . They are also allergy friendly.
