He is always thorough, explains everything at my level, and is available for me to contact him should I have any issues. Absolutely top-shelf doc! His staff is friendly and helps to accommodate your schedule, they take most insurance, and they work with you during the entire process. While I hope that you don't have to have an oral surgery procedure, just know that if you do, this is one of the best places you can go in the Kansas City area.

I have also had the procedure done a few times in the past and never needed anesthesia. I was told I have to have anesthesia or they would not do the procedure. I refused the treatment and they still charged me for all future procedures. They illegally made me choose between anesthesia and my right to choose or make me pay anyways. He educated me on future complications/what to avoid/what to watch for. His assistant was wonderful. I have had no problems since (knock on wood). I went in today for a cleaning from Dr Hutchinson, she was super kind and helpful on a plan to get my tooth to no longer hurt, she said that the filling I was given needed to be fixed and that should solve the pain. Overall I would definitely reccomend the office as the desk gals and hygienists are wonderful and so is Dr Hutchinson but I wouldn't reccomend seeing Dr Jessup. Also the location is kind of interesting to get to but once you've gone once it'll be a breeze to get to again. Yet a few days after I had my first appointment here, I developed pain in my tooth that they put a filling in after one had apparently fallen out. Assuming it would go away, I didn't give it much thought. As it continued to get worse, I called in to have it looked at, explaining my pain was increasingly worse and I couldn't eat. The receptionist was not friendly and did not seem to take my pain seriously, saying they couldn't get me in for over a week. I have an appointment with Village West Dentistry tomorrow, so I will add to this review once they tell me what Aspen has possibly caused. Should it be unrelated, I will delete the majority of this negative review. However, the part about not taking my pain seriously will stay within the review. Update: Called next day around 11:00 to request copies of x-rays. It was during business hours, but it went to voicemail. I left my name, number and reason for calling. Guess what? I never got a call back. This office is getting on my last nerve. Update: Again. Called next day to ask that x-rays be sent to new dentist. I would have to fill out a consent form (perfectly fine), they would then send that to corporate (why?), and then it would be 7-14 days before they send them. I asked my new dentist about it, and he said he has never heard of a company that couldn't just get consent and then email them all in the same day. Thanks again for the ridiculousness, Aspen. Update: New dentist was able to immediately send X-rays and visit details to a periodontist of my choosing. Aspen can't do that. Update: $667 at a periodontist because the tear from how Aspen took x-rays with the always uncomfortable tabs you have to bite on. They had to use stitches and file bone that was now showing. Update: $1,102 dollars out of pocket because Aspen created a lot of damage from the "FREE" X-rays. If you don't want an unexpected payment plan, probably go somewhere else.

So this review doesn't really reflect on him as much his staff and facility. Barbara is my dental hygienist and she is gentle, nice and easy to talk with. If you look past the tv of distraction, the view of the Plaza is nice from her chair. The entire front desk staff is super sweet, attentive and on top of their game. The waiting area is really clean and up to date. Current magazines, complimentary bottle water, hot tea, juice and snacks are available for all the patients of this office. Not that you want to go to the dentist, but if you have to, check out the office of Dr. Waldron.

Since coming to Lillus McAllisters office when I was 13, I have loved coming and getting my teeth cleaned and/or worked on here.
