Best cheesesteaks in Tampa bay area. And the owners are the nicest people! And their egg rolls are phenomenal!

This is better! A non-assuming place on Hillsborough, plenty of parking, we sat in a booth before the place filled up. Ordered and had a lovely meal! I had the churasco and my friend had the filet. I would come back any day... Funny thing, I saw they have a food truck and it was parked in a parking lot not far from me, but a little far from the restaraunt... I might be able to go sooner rather than later! Not sure the food truck has a separate page, but when I visit it, I will either update this review or get a chance to review their other page. Good food! And the service was really nice as well. Gave me a chance to practice my spanish, which is extra rusty!

The sweet corn is not sweet, it is more like street corn with spices added. It was good but the description needs to be changed so there is no confusion. Black beans and the garlic rice were spit on good. I personally did not like the Fried Yuca but everyone else loved it (2 orders) so maybe don't trust my taste buds in that. I ordered the 1lb of meat and only ate 1/2. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to my desired temperature. The ambiance was casual so don't expect to have a romantic dinner. They have inside and outside seating but are located right in Hillsborough Ave so outside will be a little noisy depending on the time of day. The service staff was spit on. Very attentive.

The customer service, however, was disappointing. When I walked up to the window, the employee (who appeared to be a middle-aged woman, possibly the owner) looked at me a couple of times but never acknowledged me and kept her back turned toward us. waited about a minute before I finally started the conversation by asking about the Lavender Coconut or Banana Pudding Latte. She seemed annoyed by my ordering a coffee until I mentioned I was there to try the coffee and leave a review, and then her attitude improved a bit. If it had been a teenager, I probably would've chalked it up to inexperience, but I expected more from an adult working in customer service. What stood out even more was that the next non minority customers were greeted right away with a warm, "hi !How can I help you?" Overall, I'd rate the coffee 4 stars and the service 1 star, making it 3 stars overall. The latte was enjoyable, but customer service matters just as much as the drink. With so many great coffee and matcha spots to explore, I'm not sure I'd make a special trip back.
