Need to update my last past due to customer service. Tried Mikeeo's two more times and have received the incorrect order. DO NOT attempt to alter or change the sandwiches as they are posted on the menu. Twice I ordered a sandwich requesting that they leave the catchup (who does that) OFF of a sandwich.... Both times there it was and was told , sorry. NEVER AGAIN. Try the Pizza next door, no catchup there.

Being a Philly native, I think I know my steaks or at least what I'm use to. When I heard this place was as close as you can get, I needed to check it out. So I drove the 27 minutes to Ybor, only to find out it was located in what I would consider a bodega but hey never judge a book, right. Being new to Tampa it's pretty impossible to get a good steak. If I had to compare to Delassandro's, Max's, or Pagano's, this place did not hit the mark. First of all, the price is way too high for frozen steakum meat. I got a mushroom cheesesteak with s/p/k (for those philly native's), the price was $16.22. That is crazy for frozen steakum meat. Secondly, the cheese made the meat a bit soggy. It was a bit salty but overall okay. The best part of the steak was the roll. A Philly cheesesteak is best made with an Amoroso roll without that your sandwich is not complete. Secondly, they do give you a nice amount of meat, not like Pagano's but a good amount to enjoy the sandwich. I can't see myself going back unless I'm already in the neighborhood and yearning for something close to home. Now if they could just get some wudder ice and soft pretzels that would be killin the game. P.S. The cook, who claimed to be from Philly had a strong Jamaican accent (go figure); didn't change his gloves after touching everything and then my sandwich, WTF!!

    Cheesesteak amazing

They offer a few complimentary condiments including banana and hot peppers. We all decided on the cheese steaks, which were great. The ribeye was shaved and then chopped while cooking. Cooper Sharp and Wiz were standard, but provolone was available. You could get onion or broccoli rabe or another topping of your choice. They were out of non-seeded rolls, but that was no problem because we like our cheese steaks either way. The meat and cheese were awesome. The roll was a little dense and overcooked, but overall great place to find in Florida. Owner's mom was awesome...except for her football team choice...lol

The new space is absolutely amazing, and the food is every bit as incredible as I remembered. The Philly wit onions and Cooper Sharp is phenomenal, every bite is packed with flavor. I also grabbed a pie and a Philly for some family members who had never tried it before, and they couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. I'm so excited to see this family-owned business thriving and expanding. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was unforgettable. This place is a must visit whenever I'm back in town. Oh and they are opening a second location in Tampa so watch out TB pizza is going to put you on the map!

The cheesesteak: wonderful. Less cheesy than our other spot. The roll (they ship them in from Philly) was my favorite part! Fries were great! Service: awesome. The woman ringing us up heard us say we were going to share a large one so she suggested we could each order our half our own way. They have an abundance of topping options. She then came and checked on us later as we ate as well. Ambience: lots to look at here. A ton of sports and Philadelphia-related memorabilia. It's a retro, super casual atmosphere. Bustling. I like that sort of place. Overall, I think we will still have our original favorite more often, mostly because it is within walking distance. But if we are over in that area, we would definitely do Delco's again!

It's with a heavy heart I feel highly motivated to share my negative review with my last order take…read moreout from Delcos. 2 cheese steaks and an order of fries to go. The order of fries we had no problem with. My dissatisfaction came with both cheese steaks. The rolls used were terrible. I couldn't eat my cheese steak sandwich. The roll was of inferior quality. Something you might expect at a Winn Dixie. I noticed the lowest grade bread before I took my first bite. It was not the authentic philly roll I've had on my cheesesteaks for 20 years st Delcos. Would have been great had Delcos advises me they changed to a substandard bland roll of cheap bread. I understand why they didn't have the balls to disclose this. I for one would of told them I'm taking my business elsewhere. How could you do this Delcos? Charge me an extra buck if you had to and provide me what I thought I was purchasing. The amount of 'meat' was still generous. Cheese and toppings you didn't gip me on. These issues don't mean jack with out the authentic rolls. As I said, charge me an extra buck for the authentic rolls. I wouldn't have complained!! I used to always come to you for your authenticity. We just cane home from Arbys. Trying their knew cheesesteak with Cooper chease. Anyone from up in Pennsylvania knows Cooper cheese. Too bad they didn't use amoresso rolls. It was still better than Delcos new version going with a poor man's roll. It doesn't feel right I'm slamming my favorite place for cheesesteaks. The people and service was stiil A1. I never went back again out of fear of getting disappointed once again. I'm not one to let anyone, or a business fk me twice so I'm not going back unless I get an explanation, and they went back to the real cheesesteak rolls. I'm even willing to reevaluate and change this review. Until then, I'm exercising my right to choose another place, just like Delcos used inferior rolls and kept their mouths shut to increase sales. Delcos as far as I'm concerned right now, you did me dirty.

Off to the side of Publix, past the liquor store, stands this quick service cheesesteak place. I haven't had a good cheesesteak in a while. I went to school in Philly and have grown to love this meat and cheese sandwich from the city of Brotherly love. Leftys has majority of their locations in Detroit. One in Cleveland. Then two in Florida. One is in Tampa and the other in Brandon. The set-up is simple. You order at the counter. They have a few tables but this is mostly a take-out place. There was a tv with sports on and one other couple eating. We placed our order right away. I got Sam's Cheesesteak. I ordered it large which cost $15. The sandwich was loaded with meat, cheese sauce, grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms and white American cheese under it all. This cheesesteak was hefty. The meat, cheese and veggies all melded together and made a pretty decent sandwich. A little crunch from the peppers, the meat was savory and the cheese covered everything. This was good but I felt it was pricey considering it didn't come with a side. My wife ordered the Buffalo Chicken hoagie. This was covered with chopped breaded chicken, buffalo sauce, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and ranch. It had a kick and my wife said it was pretty good. This at the regular size was priced at $12. Filling, fresh, meaty, greasy, tasty. If you're looking for a cheesesteak, check out Leftys.
