Need to update my last past due to customer service. Tried Mikeeo's two more times and have received the incorrect order. DO NOT attempt to alter or change the sandwiches as they are posted on the menu. Twice I ordered a sandwich requesting that they leave the catchup (who does that) OFF of a sandwich.... Both times there it was and was told , sorry. NEVER AGAIN. Try the Pizza next door, no catchup there.

Being a Philly native, I think I know my steaks or at least what I'm use to. When I heard this place was as close as you can get, I needed to check it out. So I drove the 27 minutes to Ybor, only to find out it was located in what I would consider a bodega but hey never judge a book, right. Being new to Tampa it's pretty impossible to get a good steak. If I had to compare to Delassandro's, Max's, or Pagano's, this place did not hit the mark. First of all, the price is way too high for frozen steakum meat. I got a mushroom cheesesteak with s/p/k (for those philly native's), the price was $16.22. That is crazy for frozen steakum meat. Secondly, the cheese made the meat a bit soggy. It was a bit salty but overall okay. The best part of the steak was the roll. A Philly cheesesteak is best made with an Amoroso roll without that your sandwich is not complete. Secondly, they do give you a nice amount of meat, not like Pagano's but a good amount to enjoy the sandwich. I can't see myself going back unless I'm already in the neighborhood and yearning for something close to home. Now if they could just get some wudder ice and soft pretzels that would be killin the game. P.S. The cook, who claimed to be from Philly had a strong Jamaican accent (go figure); didn't change his gloves after touching everything and then my sandwich, WTF!!

That was the absolute the best cheesesteak I've ever had and I'm from Pennsylvania and have been to Philly many times and tried most of the local spots down there. Also anyone who hates this place must have ran into there wife's boyfriend on the way there.

The new space is absolutely amazing, and the food is every bit as incredible as I remembered. The Philly wit onions and Cooper Sharp is phenomenal, every bite is packed with flavor. I also grabbed a pie and a Philly for some family members who had never tried it before, and they couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. I'm so excited to see this family-owned business thriving and expanding. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was unforgettable. This place is a must visit whenever I'm back in town. Oh and they are opening a second location in Tampa so watch out TB pizza is going to put you on the map!

Off to the side of Publix, past the liquor store, stands this quick service cheesesteak place. I haven't had a good cheesesteak in a while. I went to school in Philly and have grown to love this meat and cheese sandwich from the city of Brotherly love. Leftys has majority of their locations in Detroit. One in Cleveland. Then two in Florida. One is in Tampa and the other in Brandon. The set-up is simple. You order at the counter. They have a few tables but this is mostly a take-out place. There was a tv with sports on and one other couple eating. We placed our order right away. I got Sam's Cheesesteak. I ordered it large which cost $15. The sandwich was loaded with meat, cheese sauce, grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms and white American cheese under it all. This cheesesteak was hefty. The meat, cheese and veggies all melded together and made a pretty decent sandwich. A little crunch from the peppers, the meat was savory and the cheese covered everything. This was good but I felt it was pricey considering it didn't come with a side. My wife ordered the Buffalo Chicken hoagie. This was covered with chopped breaded chicken, buffalo sauce, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and ranch. It had a kick and my wife said it was pretty good. This at the regular size was priced at $12. Filling, fresh, meaty, greasy, tasty. If you're looking for a cheesesteak, check out Leftys.

Besides that, the pies are always on point. The slices that are in the window ready to go, always deliver. This place takes the crown. I was first introduced via a friend after a day on the lake (terrified of water sports so this made it worth it) preordered on the phone, everything was ready when I showed up and it was an in and out operation 10/10. My go to's BBQ chicken, Pep and the chicken Vodka. The verity and depth of their bag at Santoro's is crazy. They don't miss. I have brought so many people here for the taste, quality and easy of access. I was here before Dave Portnoy and I have lived through the hectic times after Dave (A.D. - after Dave) and they still show up week in and week out. Thanks for holding it down for so many years. A friend had clued me in that this was the best pizza that Tampa had to offer, so a group of us who either currently live in or formerly lived in NJ went to try it out to see if it measures up. The place gives off old school vibes, with plenty of New York sports pictures, jerseys, and memorabilia up on the walls, as well as having that distinct smell of a proper NJ area pizzeria that sets your expectations pretty high. We wanted to try out a variety of items, so we started off with the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. The mozzarella sticks (3/5) were forgettably average, with minimal taste in the breading and served up with an underwhelming tomato sauce (wasn't a proper marinara sauce). The garlic knots (4.5/5) were highly impressive, served piping hot in a very unique pull-apart portion. It was delicious and the texture of it was just right, though one minor critique was that the accompanying sauce was more butter with a lesser garlic taste than I'm used to (more emphasis on olive oil & garlic, and less emphasis on butter back home in NJ). The pizza (3.75/5) was probably one of the best I've had in the state of Florida, with a combination of good tasting crust, sauce, and cheese reminiscent of flavors of a proper Jersey pizzeria. The base was cooked to perfection, and we were happy to have tried it out shortly after it came out of the oven. While there was a touch of excess oil on the pizza surface and it would get lost in mediocrity if it was served up in NJ, I found it highly impressive for Florida pizza, as it sure to satisfy any pizza craving. Service (5/5) was excellent from staff checking in on customers regularly with an enthusiastic and helpful energy. Santoro's Pizzeria is a spot I would return to, and would recommend them to others looking for quality pizza (and garlic knots) in Tampa.
