I live in Chicago part time and was looking for a new barber. I was already really nervous because finding a barber that is timely, skilled and professional is nearly impossible. This is by far the best barber experience I've ever had. I take my 6 year old here to get a low fade and it's always perfect. Steve's lines are amazing and not matched by anybody else i've been to in Chicago. Even my six year old looks at his line in the mirror for a couple of days after lol. As for myself, I'm bald with a full beard. He always shapes it and grooms it perfectly. I've had a full beard for two years, and went through several barbers here in Chicago, DC and in Florida. When i started going to Steve a few months ago is when I actually started to immediately get compliments on my beard shape and grooming. And the compliments are constant. Over priced and the service was just ok. Don't know if I caught him on a bad day or if it's just more hype than actual results. I tried but will stick with my local guy because I get tube sme results for about $15-$20 less. I'm not cheap, I'll pay for good work but not average work. The pomade he skews smells good but there are numerous beard and pomades that are far superior on Amazon at more than half the price. I just don't think the cut is worth tube price. read more
