Dr. Jamsheed and all the other dentists under him (including Dr. Safende) should be ASHAMED of themselves as medical providers and take a look in the mirror and reflect why their ethics gone down the drain in place of money. My experience: My teeth have generally been quite healthy over my life, I came in for their $79 cleaning special and wasn't sure what to expect. Got my X-rays done (the dental assistant was great!) and then I waited for the dentist. Dr. Safende comes and says I have no cavities, however I need: 1.) A deep cleaning 2.) To fix my overbite with a retainer/invisalign 3.) Bottom wisdom teeth removed. He doesn't ask me if I've ever had issues with my jaw, pressure or anything. Just immediately straight to the sales pitch of things no other dentist has ever told me that I needed. Total estimated cost $12,000+. During my visit I was introduced to 6 employees, (4 of which were there to sell me, baffling) Basically high pressure sales tactics done poorly. Yeah sure I "need" all of those things. Good thing I have dentists in the family who provided a second opinion and negate all the things that I "needed" to get done. The complete lack of ethics, the sales and marketing pushes to over treat are unfortunately common in modern dentistry. I feel awful that the other patients here are getting scammed and they are so unaware. It is very hard to find a trustworthy dentist, and trust me you will NOT find one here.

I had an emergency (in my opinion) due to a lot of sudden discomfort and pain on one side of my mouth. The staff running the reception area is also extremely professional and accommodating. They're technology is state of the art, very updated. It's not like most offices I've been to that are extremely outdated. This one is bright, open, clean, and professional. I have. I have no reason to ever go anywhere else. They made a night guard for me right then and there. He determined I have TMJ ( which I kind of already knew), but instead of the lengthy process of creating a mold and sending it off, one of his employees did this new and fast method of creating one on the spot and it's really comfortable and I'm hoping it helps. I was clearly told that a procedure would be fully covered by my insurance, not once but multiple times. Peter is actually the one who scheduled the appointment 6 months in advance without first confirming if it would be covered or not. Based on that assurance, I agreed to move forward. Only after the procedure was done was I told that it was not covered -- and that I would need to pay out of pocket before leaving. This kind of bait-and-switch is completely unacceptable. I had previously referred several patients here, but after this experience, none of them will be returning, and I strongly advise others to stay far away. I will also be filing a formal complaint with my insurance provider and exploring options to report this situation. Their practice lacks transparency, professionalism, and basic respect for patient rights. I will never return, and I encourage others to seriously reconsider before trusting their dental care to this office. Please refer to other reviews given to this office and the new ownership and consider going to multiple other dental practices in the area.
