!!! UPDATE 2 !!! I ended up in the ER due to extreme referred pain since the provider would not see me. I have contacted a lawyer as well. I will not let them get away with the suffering they put me through considering I ended up in the hospital! *** VERY UNETHICAL STAFF AND DOCTOR WHO ACT RETALIATORY AND IN BAD FAITH IN A LEGAL/REGUALTORY REGARD DUE TO PATIENT ABANDONMENT WITHOUT PROPER NOTICE! *** Terrible communication and very condescending staff. UPDATE 1: The provider is also extremely retaliatory and they canceled my appointment based on my expressed dissatisfaction. I will move forward with a grievance with my health plan and the DMHC. I've been in pain for WEEKS. I had serviced approved one week ago, I knew of the approvals before they did and I had to call to discuss them as well as the denials. They don't leave messages when they call, they clearly screen their calls because they didn't answer my calls all day today, and when I show up in person at 5 PM they're closed when their message says they close at 6 PM. I feel like they're discriminatory based on my specific health plan, I don't feel as if I'm treated fairly. I will show up again tomorrow and I hope to have my concerns addressed because they must be in tbe business for the revenue and not their quality of service. I've also sent them an email twice regarding recommending an oral surgeon and they haven't replied even though that's the email Cynthia gave me. Cynthia also has an odd demeanor that is not comforting whatsoever considering I've beem suffering for weeks. I will follow through with my appointment then find a better office because they don't seem to care that my pain is worsening due to their delays. Terrible communication at best. They also don't propely explain things and they don't seem to care about advocaring for a patient when prior authorizarion requests are denied. You also cannot leave a voice message although the message says to leave a message Let's see how tomorrow and my appointment the following day go and if they treat me any better or worse due to this review. I'm frustrated and in worsening pain by the day! read more

Staff went over the treatment plan, and my insurance coverage. Dr. Reza explained the treatment plan and everything he was doing during the treatment. I really wanted to like this place and finally be done with searching for a dentist that looks out for my health and doesn't treat me like a walking wallet. Wasn't lucky yet with this office as they didn't even give me my yearly teeth cleaning because they were so focused on charging me $750 for botox on one side of my jaw and $350 on a retainer. One of the male dentists sat with me once i told them of my jaw pain and thoroughly explained why i get pain, which was great! but then he went on about how my physical smile overall was messed up and gave no game plan besides $6000 Invisalign type: didn't feel very confident or great after that. all They did in my visit were impressions to help my TMJ, ruined my confidence, and told me to come back which i was hoping they'd do the cleaning then. I even called and reminded them the day before that i still needed a cleaning. when i arrived the next day, they hurried me out of the office after they gave me my retainers, no cleaning. Thank you for adding more discomfort in my smile and hope you guys learn empathy :( read more

Ive been a patient at Hamlin for over a decade and im always met with the most professional, kinda, and caring staff. The office manager, Nancy, has always been so kinda and whenever I ran into a problem with either my insurance or if I needed to be there on an emergency basis. She was the one that always pulled through and made sure I was taken care of. Dr Reza & hygienist Sally, always take good care of their patients. I came in for 4 fillings and I was taken care of by Dr.Matt. He was so kind and always checking on me if I'm okay. I did mention I am a brain injury survivor so I can't lay all the way down or backwards and Dr. Matt always checked if I'm okay and everything . Highly recommend, kind people in the front office and thoughtful, thorough dentist. I have never had good luck with bedside manner at the dentist, so I expected the worst. Taking care of myself can be a struggle so my teeth are often in bad shape. I'm used to getting a lecture which sadly means I use every excuse to avoid the dentist. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place was far from those previous experiences. They simply gave me the care I needed and referred me to a specialist for further treatment. Five years later and I'm still happy! Dr Davar is seriously the best dentist I've ever been to. She is calm, super nice, knowledgeable, gentle, very detailed, takes her time, does a great job with fillings, repairs, cracks and more! Needles..... I honestly didn't feel any pain. She's careful and precise. I found myself relaxing in the chair while she drilled away. She even fixed previous dental work that wasn't done correctly. She's great!!! Thank you Dr Davar!
