Build your own bowl with Shoyu Ahi tuna
    Gloria F.

I came in to this location on Christmas day for some Poke The store had good distancing measures. And the staff were very friendly and helpful too! Like that they offer a variety of bases like quinoa, salad and rice The signs for Sauces and Toppings on the display case was also very helpful The poke bowls tasted fresh, I would recommend the Shoyu ahi tuna I would come back !

I ordered California poke bowl. Toppings were soggy and they added sauce. Finally, blow was very soggy. Too bad.

We ordered off Ubereats for takeout and it took over 60 minutes for the food to be made and delivered. It was a longer wait than what we were used to. We couldn't wait to dig in but when we opened up the boxes, we discovered that the bowls had a dollop of spicy looking reddish sauce on top. The picture on the menu didn't show any red sauce and the menu description didn't indicate that there would be any spice. None of us could handle spice well (yes we're weak I know hehe) so we were definitely feeling a little worried. The worries then turned to the burning sensation in our mouths as we took the first few bites. The fish had a nice flame seared taste and it looked like to be a pretty generous portion. It was just too bad because we couldn't eat or finish our food. A bit sad. Hopefully they'll be able to provide more accurate or detailed descriptions and pictures of their items in the future! I'd love to try the Aburi poke bowl again (and without the spice)!

I was surprised at 5 pm for pick up, three drivers couldn't wait and had to cancel because the restaurant didn't have the food prepared until 5:20 ish. Even the last driver had to wait for them to prepare it. Not sure if it is because they were too busy. I ended up getting my food delivered at 5:55 pm. Anyways, I ordered two Poke Aburi Club Bowl. I found the rice a bit too hard. Not sure if I got the rice at the bottom of the rice bowl or if it is because they didn't cook it properly. The portion size was ok. I got to choose 4 different proteins. I find that if you choose 4 scoops of different proteins vs 2 scoops of ahi and 2 scoops of salmon, you end up getting more protein if you order 4 completely different scoops. We also found the salmon not very fresh, it had a strange smell to it. I don't recommend getting the salmon here. The Ahi tuna was not bad. Because I ordered off of UberEats, two poke bowls came to $24.20 after taxes, delivery charges, service charges and tips. The price was really good. I don't think I can get poke bowl that cheap from anywhere else.

I tried snag one but came too late in the day and found out that there was a limited number of the $1 Onigiri and that they had sold out within about the first hour! =( Boohoo. Maybe they'll have it again next year. Since I was already there I decided I still wanted to try some of their Onigiri so I paid regular price $3.99 each for three Tuna Mayo Onigiris. Two of them were spicy, and one was not. Forgot to take a photo of the inside, but it was quite impressive. They didn't skimp on the filling. I would definitely buy Onigiri again from them sometime.

The best part about it is the seasoning which is a perfect blend of old bay and a bunch of other aromatic goodies. You order at the counter and the food is called out when it is ready. It was a fairly busy afternoon so they ran of pagers and resorted to calling out names. We tried the following: - Spanish Latte: Good - Morning Croissant: Ok. Cute and affordable but something I can easily make myself - Creme Brûlée Soufflé Pancake: OK. Tasted fine, but not the lightest soufflé pancakes I've had - Dubai Chocolate Soufflé Pancake: OK. Nothing too memorable. Service was the sore spot. The staff are nice but food came out incredibly slow. The latte and croissant took 20 min. When they delivered it, they said our pancakes would came out after. After waiting 35 min and noticing other customers that arrived after us getting their pancakes, we found out they forgot our order. They needed another 15 min to complete our pancake order - that is a total of 1 hour of waiting. They did volunteer to refund us for the pancakes, which is the minimum they needed to do after such a long wait. Overall, not great. Even if they hadn't forgotten our order, I wouldn't give more than 3 stars based on the food. If they hadn't offered a refund, it would've been a one star review.

It's a nice mom and pop shop that serves a lot of food items. You can get a sushi burrito or their version of poke bowl if you order using the sheet at the counter. Otherwise the main menu won't have it. Nabeyaki udon - big portion. Looked good but the soup was lacking umami. Just tasted like soup soy sauce that you can buy. Tempura - very well fried. Not oily. Not overfried and hard. Very delicate crunch. I took a sashimi salad and chicken katsu don home. Sashimi salad - big pieces and many pieces of salmon and tuna. This is a big plus over other places. Downside is that there is not much noodle so it's not very filling, and not a lot of sauce. Just a couple of drizzles of their house made salad sauce and where is my wasabi mayo . . I had to add some of my sesame salad sauce at home or else it didn't taste like anything. Chicken katsu don - big pieces of chicken katsu. Also lacking sauce here so the whole thing was quite dry. This place gives you bigger pieces and somtimes bigger portions of things but it doesnt give enough flavor. I think if you try the sushi rolls, it would be good because of the big sashimi pieces but so far, anything that needs a sauce or soup doesn't have much taste. However, I can see others' photos of the poke bowl and special rolls look good and saucy. Maybe I'll try that next time.

It's so convenient to just pop by and grab a poke bowl and pokerrito. I love how they have such a big selection of fish and toppings to choose from. I used to opt for the pokerrito, but they realllly stuff it and it's been getting really messy, so now I usually go for the regular poke bowl. My favourite combos are their crab meat, edamame, cherry tomatoes, corn, tomago, pineapple and seaweed salad. I especially love how the crab meat tastes (and texture is) exactly like the ones I get from my favourite sushi place. You can choose between brown, white rice, salad, or a mix for the base. However, you just get their kale salad (an extra 1.50?), it's absolutely delicious. Their portion sizes aren't bad either, depending on who makes it. Service is hit or miss! Depending on who works, you'll either get great, good or mid service. I'd say I get at least good service 75% of the time, which is pretty high considering I go pretty often! My only real complaint is that their prices keep going up, up, up (yes I understand inflation) but their portions have been around the same or even less.
