While this is our first pool, we have had past experience with spas. It follows that we have also had experience with pool services. We moved in to this house more than four years ago. My pool motor was not working and he gave me all the possible options on how to fix it to help me decide what was best for my budget. After going through several pool companies I kept finding the same problems with each one. 1)They don't show up on the day they are supposed to. Sometimes they don't even show up at all. 2) Pool filters are not cleaned when they are supposed to be. 3) Algae starts to grow in the summer time... etc... I am really impressed with Steve and his team's work. I bought a new house last year. Managing the pool (algae) in the winter was fairly easy but as temperatures got work, it was getting harder to control algae growth. So glad that I came across Steve's pool service. Our pool was rapidly losing water due to a crack in the skimmer. We had several quotes. Steve's quote was good, the format of the quote was easy to understand exactly what was covered, as well as options (e.g., options on light replacement), and when we met he took the time to make sure every question was answered and understood. We had to delay the start of the work due to unforeseen circumstances, and he was so kind about that. His crew started the work and were ready to tile, but we didn't like anything in the catalogs. He was again so great about the additional delay until we found the perfect tile (at Tap N Tile in Pasadena). When the work was completed Steve even went the extra mile to meet with our regular pool service guy to go over the new chlorinator he had installed. We just bought a house with a pool and since it wasn't being cleaned while we went through escrow, it turned very green and dirty. We had another pool service do an algea treatment but it still didn't look very good. Steve came in and made it look great, but just as importantly, he took time to explain how the system worked and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with everything. He turned a valve, gave us a free floater with some tablets and addded free chemicals plus suggestions on how to maintain the pool without shelling out money all for free. Steve's been maintaining our pool for over a year. I cannot be happier! His team of guys come over every Friday to clean and maintenance our pool so we can enjoy it on the weekend. Even during the winter months, they'll clean it in the cold. We obviously don't use it during the winter. If I have a question or issue, a simple txt will get answered within a few hours.
