In my experience, I did not feel the instruction was adequately adapted to my condition. During the period I was taking lessons, I developed back pain. I cannot determine the exact cause. However, this experience led me to further study golf biomechanics, injury prevention, and movement-based coaching. I later became a certified golf instructor and completed TPI-based body-swing assessment training. Through that education, I learned that effective instruction should consider a student's physical limitations before building a swing. After my initial review, the facility owner clarified that instructors teaching at Willows Run operate independently and are not part of an in-house lesson program. My recommendation: verify an instructor's qualifications, assessment process, and ability to adapt instruction to your individual needs before booking.
