I'm not much of a golfer, but come here often with my boyfriend and we have a great time! It's very clean, well maintained, and consistent. We always have a great time and feel that the staff and patrons are respectful and that there is a great community here. The pricing is great here and the location is beautiful. I like that they offer punch cards too as they offer great gifts! There always seems to be a lot of people here at all hours of the day, but we always manage to find a great spot. Pleasant driving range that was fun to visit and hit a bucket of balls. It feels like you are in the middle of now where but you're only about 15min from Redmond city center. Relaxed atmosphere and grassy range where you aim for some marked signs on the lawn. They had some clubs, but most people seemed to have brought their own. We used a tee that was at a curved area in the range so some netting tended to get in the way depending on where you stood to hit the ball, other than that, it was a fun and chill spot. read more

I would love to see them open up the roof area again. Perhaps that happens in the summer and if that's the case, I will definitely be coming back to give them their 5 stars because I do genuinely feel like everything else about this place is good enough. I particularly appreciate the price per bucket/balls especially given that the area is mostly surrounded by golf courses who like to charge a heftier price for their buckets. If you get the punch card you get a particularly great deal. There is a 1 year time frame for punch cards but I often average 2 punches a visit and have no worries I will finish the largest card. I have come here only once when it was busy but still was able to find both parking and a place to swing but again this isn't prime summer so perhaps it'll get busier when the sun starts shining a lot. I look forward to seeing how the facility upkeeps their services during prime golfing season. read more

People saying $7 for a LARGE bucket of 85 balls 'isnt bad' - are you kidding its CRAY CRAY AWESOME! Thats a great deal! And the facility is great - buy your tokens inside, go out and put your bucket down use a token and viola, youre in business. On our visit, the mats were in great shape - and on these cold, rainy winter evenings, we're under cover with a HEATER!!! Wow! I'm coming here as often as possible. Staff is pleasant and mats are in decent shape. Some customers think it's ok to talk on their phones very loudly and plenty of distractions as people walk to and from stalls. The putting green is not a disaster, but lots of cottonwood leaves and a few dead zones. Stay out of the trap though as it's full of rocks and very fine powdery sand. Last minor complaint is they don't seem to clear balls from the range regularly, so you hit into a carpet of balls and can't get and accurate read on bounce and roll. read more

My first impression was it was clean and well marked. The value of the $8 large buckets was really attractive. They had a fun challenge to try to hit a bucket of balls off of specific yard markers (I didn't make the cut :-). I gave it a 4 star because they have closed down the roof portion due to concerns from their neighbors of golfballs raining down on them. This is my local driving range, and I get here a couple of times a week when I'm working on my golf game. Today was a rainy Sunday, and not very pleasant for a round of golf so I hit a bucket. Fortunately I got there just before the rush because a lot of other golfers had the same idea. After I got about halfway through my bucket of balls, there were at least half a dozen golfers waiting for an open spot. Normally, the overflow is up on the second level, but there's no roof, so no bueno on a rainy day. This practice range is popular with families, and there are often a lot of young players out here on the weekends. Love to see more young people picking up the game. A large bucket will run you $7, cheaper if you buy a punch card. They have golf pros who will provide lessons to newbies or experienced golfers. They also have clubs you can borrow, but they are ancient. Staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a short game area with a chipping area, putting green and a bunker. The green is usually pretty long and fuzzy, so when I want to practice the short game, I go to the practice area at Willows run. read more

I encourage anyone reading this to avoid Redwood Golf Center at all costs. I had a terrible experience at this establishment today and will not return. I know a number of people who live locally and come here often - they will also stop coming here because of this situation. Earlier today I met a friend of mine for a bucket of balls (reasonably priced - there is the positive aspect of this place) and spent about an hour hitting balls - poorly, as I am TERRIBLE at golf; half of my balls petered out a couple yards in front of me - but I was enjoying the company and it was a beautiful evening. At one point, out of the blue, the individual driving the machine that picks up the golf balls drove up to my bay and got out of the vehicle and immediately began yelling at me in Spanish. At one point, my friend (who speaks a little Spanish himself) told me the man said something to the affect of "come at me, if you have the b**ls!" before climbing back into the caged vehicle, yelling at me some more, pointed at his eyes and at me like he would be "watching me", and then drove off. This all occurred completely out of the blue and within full view of everyone else at the driving range. The only thing I can think of that might have happened is that he may have thought I had hit his car with a golf ball and that infuriated him? If so - he may be in the wrong line of work by driving a caged golf ball picker-upper car at a driving range. Regardless, this encounter was completely unprofessional and so my friend and I decided to let the folks at the front counter know what had occurred. As soon as I informed the people working there, they immediately responded with "oh yeah, he does this ALL the time. We will tell the Manager." They weren't being dismissive of me - it felt like the empathized, but it was clearly something that had happened MANY times before and they were well-versed in responding to people's complaints about the man. To make matters worse, I went here onto Yelp and saw a review that reported the EXACT same behavior from 2015. 2015. Two Thousand and Fifteen. Which means that this man has been getting away with verbally threatening and confronting customers at a golf driving range for driving golf balls for AT LEAST four years. Shame on Redwood, shame on the Owners who know that this is occurring and do nothing about it. This man has no business working on a driving range if he gets triggered whenever his cart gets hit by a golf ball - whether on purpose or accident. I will never come here again - and you shouldn't either. Or go - and if you get threatened by a man driving the cart, just know that there is documented reports of this occurring for years, which could help you if things get litigious. read more

This was my first time at a driving range in many years and It became obvious that I'm in serious need of a lesson or three if i want to start golfing again. I find this place to be comfortable and not pretentious. There were lots of stalls to choose from and a second floor (which i didn't see) with more. It was a chilly day and i was shocked to see that there were heaters above my head... each stall had one. I didn't see a lot of clubs to use if you don't have your own so it might be best to bring your own or go with someone that doesn't mind sharing. They did have what looked like a good selection of bags to purchase if you already had your clubs! I would like to come back and take that lesson (or three) that I'll need if i want to actually go out and play a round! read more

Going to the range is an awesome workout! $6.50 for a large bucket which can last me a sooo long since I miss the ball half the time is a good deal! There is an upstairs & downstairs. Downstairs have heaters! So you can shoot some balls without freezing your buns off! They have clubs you can rent if you aren't ballin' with your own set. Sure it's a bit of a drive from most areas outside of Redmond/Woodinville, but Redwood Golf Center has cheap buckets of balls and they have a significant number of driving areas on two levels. For $6.50 you get 85 balls. Most driving ranges in the area are more expensive. They are conveniently located right off Woodinville-Redmond road just before the Woodinville tourist district. They are open 7 days a week. I generally go here, then head over to Columbia Winery to complete my weekend morning with a wine tasting :P read more

Stopped by for the first time yesterday and I'll have to say, it ain't so bad! I only used the driving range, and I'm totally a novice, but everything seemed groovy to me. The guy at the front desk was pretty laid back, the ball machine uses tokens, and the clubs you can borrow are pretty old and used...like Charlie Chaplin old, but for a beginner like me, they worked just fine. I've seen this place for over two years on my way to and from work, and I'm so glad I decided to give Redwood a try. The place isn't the fanciest, but being completely on my commute route and having an inexpensive way to work on my swing, hey why not! One of the toughest aspects of being away from home is finding a quality golf practice facility. I'm happy Yelp led me here! When I first walked out to the driving range, I noticed how warm I suddenly felt...heaters at each stall?! Awesome. There are a ton of targets and yardage markers, and each stall has a little shelf stocked with rubber tees of varying sizes. There's also a second level ideal for the summer months. I paid $7 (tax included) for 85 golf balls. I saw signs offering discounts for seniors & weekday morning use. I didn't have time to check out the putting green, but I saw a golf professional giving a lesson on the driving range while I practiced. The only drawbacks I noticed were some of the range balls needed to be discarded, and it didn't appear they served beer. read more

I have only gone here once. It wasn't too bad! It is old but you don't need much for a decent range. A large batch of golf balls were $7 for 80 and $5 for 35; I have no complaints about these prices. This is a double story range and the top floor is not covered, so bring sun screen, and you cannot use your drivers on the top floor (which is unfortunate). There is a $500 fine for using a driver on the top? Sounds ridiculous, but not my rules so I am not going to complain. Anyways, this is 5 minutes from my work so I will be coming back often. I'd never really golfed before, but wanted to get some basic lessons to see if it was something I wanted to do more of. Took a four session group lesson at Redwood and learned the basics of a swing, with a session on putting and chipping. Have since gone to hit a bucket of balls at least once a week and am getting better. Their range is basic but functional, and there are plenty of stalls so never full up. If I have one complaint it's that they charge sales tax on the punch cards but not on the per-bucket basis. So your savings on a punch card amounts to less than a buck a bucket. Just keep that in mind. read more

The Good: cheap, plenty of stalls, heaters on the lower level, free coffee, well-marked targets, they've replaced a lot of the mats. But my buddy got a prepaid card for about 20 buckets at the driving range from his ex, so we came out to play. The staff was nice and so were other players in the stalls next to us (no snobs). Wow is this game boring without alcohol. But everyone was chill, so it was relaxing. I go here since it's close but it's not the best. The mats here are extremely hard with little top surface 'grass' making hitting balls feel like you're hitting off concrete. I recently went to Jefferson Golf Park's range and the mats there are way better. You definitely get a better feeling of hitting of grass. I would recommend going here and hitting the small bucket and/or use this place for practicing shots off the tee. Hitting a large bucket will wear you down. read more

Redwood is sorta ghetto as far as the pro shop goes, as in dirty old couches everywhere. But if you are just concerned about hitting balls well it's just fine by me. A big bucket, which is really big, is $6.50. There's an upstairs and a downstairs so plenty of room to find a spot. When it's cold there are heaters which is nice. They've also got lessons and package but I've never tried those out. They recently had a deal on Groupon too which I am sorta regretting I didn't buy :( so that's something to keep your eye out for. read more

Redwood Golf Center is a good place to stop by and hit a bucket of balls. They offer two levels of tees with a 250-yard range. A large bucket of balls (quantity: 85) will run you $6. The tee boxes come equipped with heaters (though I haven't used them) and have a turf mat with alignment lines that you can turn and adjust. There are tees of a few different sizes at each box, so you can easily lift up your mat and change the tee height. They also have a real putting/chipping green outside. It isn't in the best shape. Mole holes and uneven ground litter the area around the green. The green itself is soggy in some parts and burnt in others, but still has some decent areas for putting. They offer lessons and a Pro Shop, neither of which I have taken advantage of. The Pro Shop looked a little bare to me though. All in all, its a good place to hit a few balls and work on your putting. read more

Whenever it is raining and i don't want to play a round i come here. The service is welcoming and helpful. The employees are very laid back and cool.The mats are okay, maybe a little outdated but the heaters are a nice touch. There is many stations with two levels. The top floor is for irons only because you could hit it over the net. The price of a large bucket is reasonable at 7 dollars or so which is what really matters. The area is very relaxing and chill and is a great place to unwind. There are golf clubs that are available to use but they are very old, but can be fun to use. The putting and chipping green area is not very nice so i would just recommend hitting balls at the range. read more

PLEASE READ: While here with my kids, was screamed at by a course worker who spoke only Spanish, pointing in my face and yelling at me and my family. We don't speak Spanish but tried to explain we didn't intend to cause any trouble. We left immediately to try to avoid further confrontation. Being new to golf, this ruined our time here and the sport for me. We hope someone can explain why this happened to us. I would recommend not going here, especially not with kids, as mine will never play golf again.
