The man he represented severely injured me, and watching the situation unfold left me feeling as though the harm and abuse I experienced did not matter. I understand that everyone has a right to legal representation. However, there is a difference between providing a legal defense and the way a victim of domestic violence is treated in the process. From my experience, I felt absolutely no compassion, concern, or sensitivity toward the severity of what happened to me.
