The PA I met with was very kind and helpful, and overall my experience in the office was great. That all changed when I got the bill. I had visited for a skin cancer screening, that's what I said when I made the appointment, that's what I did in the office, but when I was billed by them for the lab work, they didn't bill it as preventative care. As a result, my insurance didn't cover the tests (even though it was in-network) and I am having to pay out of pocket. If you are planning to pay out of pocket, I do think they are worth visiting, but if you plan to use insurance, think twice! Update responding to comment: I have already spoken to the billing department. They were the first people I called when I ran into issues. In fact, I was going to write a 5 start review initially, but after speaking to billing and being told, quite rudely, that you "don't offer preventative care" I came here to share my experience with others.

Doctor Snyder has a very VERY odd sense of humor and it is most often times inappropriate and can been felt as condescending. He can be very unprofessional (not in an adult/dirty way). He will put information in his notes that is just plain false. For example, I looked, because it's MY information, and noticed that he claimed to have advised me and recommended certain things. When I asked, yes, he did tell me, but he only mentioned those things after I asked. I asked after he closed the screen as he could have been about to tell me those things. He is very knowledgeable, but wants to show it, and for you to know that he is very knowledgeable. This is why, in my opinion, he very often jumps in to answer a question without the question being asked...he assumes what you may be about to ask. In my opinion, this is just rude. You can and should wait until I asked the question fully, to ensure that you understand it, and then answer. Again, his personality is very offputting and just not inviting or welcoming. I want my doctor to be very knowledgeable, but I also don't like being interrupted when I'm telling you something that is of concern to me. Just listen, then speak, like I do when you are talking. We can sing at the same time, but we cannot effectively talk at the same time. The level of care received is standard, again, he is knowledgeable.

She was usually very unclear in explaining things and in too much of a hurry to answer questions, which she would sometimes refer to her assistant, who was also clueless. The whole office was horribly run. No one live ever answered the phone. You had to leave a voicemail. Calls were usually not returned the same day. It could take days to set up an appointment. After a visit, I often got a followup survey about my experience emailed to me. But when I filled it out and tried to email it back, I would get an error message about a server problem. Every single time!!! Nothing about this particular office works! Truly an awful experience! So glad to be done with them. Used to be so much better.

Their billing department is completely incompetent. They repeatedly billed BCBS with a code that…read morepaid them nothing and tried to collect from me even though every explanation of benefits or explanation of payment clearly states that the patient is not responsible for anything that the insurance company doesn't pay (other than the patient's co-pay.) BCBS and I had many phone calls with them trying to get them to submit the claim with the correct code. They continually use the wrong code and didn't get paid and kept trying to collect the money from me. Eventually, with Blue Cross Blue Shield giving them a special exception so that they could file their form even though it was past the deadline, they were able to collect some money from Blue Cross Blue Shield and I paid my co-pay. My visit was in March 2023, and they didn't get things straight with Blue Cross Blue Shield until July 2025. Here it is August 2026, and I got a notice that they sent me to a collection agency for the entire amount that they tried to bill Blue Cross Blue Shield! I again got Blue Cross Blue Shield on the phone with their billing agent, who says oh no, they pulled it back from collections after they received payment in July 2025. Yet the collection agency took 13 months to find me, since I moved out of state in April 2025. If indeed clinical associates had canceled the collection on me, the collection agency had 13 months to take me off their list yet they didn't. If you receive any bills from this practice, I suggest you look very carefully to make sure that you or your insurance company haven't already paid them.

She's one of those people who does a lot of "uh huh, yeah, yeah" and nodding, the cues that make you think she's in a rush or what you've said she's already heard before. I have acne (surprise) and she kept interrupting me in telling her my medical history to the point where I was getting kinda frustrated with her, especially when I know she's going to ask me the things she's stopping me from telling her. There will be a TONE in how I talk to you when you act like you're too busy for important details and she got THE TONE from me. I think she got the hint too. She backed down a little bit, made some good recommendations, set me up with the prescriptions and medications I need and I feel like I'm all set. I really wanted advice on what to do about my skin now that I've turned 40. I've had acne since I was a teen and now that I'm getting older I want to make certain the protocol I was following before is still appropriate at my age. I think she's just not the best listener and doesn't have a warm and fuzzy bedside manner but I do think she's probably a good doctor. One thing that's a little disconcerning is her office seems a dingy. The sink in my examination room didn't look very clean and the containers that she she keeps gauze and whatnot in looked like they had seen better days. Since she was just looking at my face and wasn't say, my gyno, I let it go but I definitely did notice that. Dr. Jampel isn't the only game in town so I just might shop around for a doctor. Doctors that do specialized care aren't that hard to find and I believe in letting people know how I feel about them through my patronage --- or lack thereof.
