Once he finally got his exam, it took them another half hour to print the prescription. The store wasn't busy (only one other customer there) but nobody would assist us with purchasing glasses. The eye doctor was very rude and did not even acknowledge or apologize for making us wait so long. He stood in the store and chatted with another customer for two hours while we waited for someone to help us. Very rude staff, be prepared to wait at least three hours to get glasses even if you have your prescription and insurance ready to go. Go anywhere else in Madison.

Its under construction but there were no parking spots available. We pulled in at 10:23 plenty of time for our 11 a.m. oncology consult. By 10:55 we were leaving the garage not having found a spot to park. The part that just gets me is we got charge for parking. It wasn't much but your dealing with life and death stuff the last thing a human being needs is that amount frustration prior to you doctor visit. To wrap this complaint up we were at least 10 mins late and we had still in yet to check in to the 4 separate check in spots to finally get to where we were going. He prescribed a pair of glasses that I couldn't see out of. He told me it took a while, He told me to try them for 2 weeks. I called him and he told me to come back and he would recheck my vision. When I got back he never rechecked my vision, he just tried readjusting the glasses. Then told me to try them again for 2 weeks. I called him back 2 weeks later and told hem I was bringing them back because I couldn't see through them. When I got to the office he handed me a check and told me he didn't think I should come back, and said I told you that you had a cataract in your right eye. That's why you are not seeing like you should. But you still chose to get the glasses. He never told me I had a cataract. But I made an appointment with the Dean in Sun Prairie Nathaniel Harkins. He was fantastic! I gave Dr. Harkins the prescription from the eye Dr. from Monroe and he showed me what the difference between the prescription he had for me and then he showed me the difference that the one I gave him from the Dr. from Monroe. What a difference!!! He said and you do not have a cataract, but what you do have is a vessel in your eye that is bleeding and ordered up blood work to have certain tests done. This Dr. is amazing, I can't say enough about him. If I hadn't gone to have my eye's rechecked, I never would have found out about the vessel that was bleeding in my eye.
