They do charge a premium, but it was convenient and the staff and Dr. Jennifer Marks were very nice and I felt I got good care. I had an experience with Dr. Jason where I felt his work was not up to the standards of the care I had always received. (Crowne color and shape were not at all a match. She had done the exact same tooth on the other side a couple years prior and there was no problem at all ). I do not feel he handled it in a professional or kind way. He was demeaning and arrogant. He knew I was not happy when I left and even though he kept saying he wanted to keep me as a patient, it was always followed with a "but...". the office made no attempts to follow up or to reach out. I had no intentions of actually writing a negative review, but it seems they took me off the schedule for my next prescheduled cleaning, as I called to cancel it and they said they didn't have me on the schedule. That was aggressively rude. I never had any problems with her and her work was impeccable. But I'm not giving my money to this business.

All of the staff are super friendly and nice and do their jobs very well. I cannot be happier with my service and treatment. I have been treated by both Dr Jill and Dr Dave. And can highly recommend both as a dentist. A long time ago I had the gum scaling procedure done T another dental office and it was excruciating (if you have ever had one you know what I'm talking about.) unfortunately I didn't care for my teeth as well as I should have after that terrible procedure and I needed it again before beginning a series of treatment options. Sidney the hygienist performed mine in two days back to back. She was fantastic! It wasn't pleasant by any means BUT it wasn't anywhere like my first scaling yet it was more precise and efficient. All the staff and dentists that worked on me regularly would ensure I was okay and not in too much pain. Everyone understood and has helped me in getting as much of my work done in a speedy timeframe. This office is very Covid compliant. When you arrive you ring them to let them know you are have arrived and you wait in your car until they call you. Just inside the door they take your temp with a touch less thermometer, of course they are super masked up, and they have 2 dishes for clean pens and dirty ones so there is very little to no contact with items others have touched. I am so appreciative and happy with my experiences at this office with all of the staff and dentists I have had contact with!

Three months before my first appointment I asked them to check my insurance coverage because it's out of state. They refused and said that they would do that a month before the appointment ... if I reminded them. I did remind them at the one-month mark, and they could not navigate my insurance company's authorization process. My previous dentist had been doing it fine for four years so it's squarely a problem at Embark Dental. Three days before the appointment they asked me to send pictures of my insurance card, which I did. But it wasn't until the morning of the appointment that they texted me to say that they (mistakenly) thought my insurance only covered medical. That's an odd assumption considering that my insurance company had been paying my dental bills for the previous four years. When I arrived at their office, they still had not managed the simple navigation of a Blue Shield insurance agency. They wanted me to give them a credit card. They were basically saying that since they were so incompetent that they could not determine that I was actually covered for dental, they wanted to be able to tag my credit card to cover their inabilities. Then they wanted to digitize my driver's license. I am a former designated security officer for the Air Force, I have spent my whole life in high tech, and I know that digitized IDs are the new form of ID theft. When I declined to let them digitize my driver's license, they said that would be a requirement. I left. Save yourself the problem of leaving their office by not going there to begin with. You'll also save yourself a ton of unnecessary aggravation.
