The doctor saw me right away, clearly explained what was going on, addressed the issue, and quickly referred me to an endodontist. I was asked to come back into the office to have the doctor look at it, I said OK. I arrived, I waited awhile, staff brought me back to an exam room and only then did they tell me there would be another exam fee and had papers for me to sign. Several things hit me, one being I had paid quite a bit of money for a previous exam, then the root canal, wouldn't a follow up on this one tooth be included? (usually it is), second is why did they not tell me this over the phone? Or at least when I first entered the office? I was upset they wasted my time, gas, and also that this Doctor Tomar could care less about her patients and only about how can I get more money out of them, or so it appeared to me... Since I have to pay to have it looked at again I chose to go to different dentist for a second opinion. I used to like this dental office, but not anymore....I would prefer that the doctor who treats my teeth actually cares, I feel more confident that they will then do their best work.
