We live up in Castaic. Our local donut shop never has consistent hours and is unreliable when we want donuts. I looked on Yelp and figured I would try this place out. The donuts are amazing. Customer service is wonderful. They also take debit cards which apparently is difficult to find at a donut shop (they usually only accept cash). Well worth the drive. Ok people get ready for this one.......... On the subject of California Dunkin' Donuts. Well, I did venture over there a week ago only to find out that the donuts were nothing like the Dunkin Donuts I was used to in Boston. These DD's out here sucked royally! What a great disappointment for me after waiting all this time for them to get out here. I ordered 4 different type donuts (The young boy server was a real prick to boot. Snatched my C Card right out of my hand. I didn't say anything. When he went to give me the card back I in turn snatched it out of his hand and looked him right in the eyes but he held his head down after he saw my face LOL.) In fact, they tasted EXACTLY like Krispy Creme (also originally from the East Coast). I hate KC donuts as they notoriously have "0" flavor. Just sugar flour and yeast / b soda. THAT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A GOOD DONUT in my book. The donuts I can get right here down the street (1/4 mile away) are way better than DD's. Stevenson Ranch Bakery donuts are the best out here. Go there and see for yourself. They are even way better than S&S Donuts whom I have patronized for over 30 years +- a couple. LOL. read more

Well to say that the location is convenient. Is a over statement. Been coming here for a few years. And after just moving back to the area. More so frequently. The place is owned and operated by a Asian Couple who have children. Think there Vietnamese. Only ever the two of them working here. Never seen them with any help not even in the morning. Very friendly and if there not out front to serve you they'll yell out a greeting. To reassure you that there coming. They don't speak prefect English and you should beware of that they hide behind it. When I first started going here they replaced there old yellowing sign. With a new full color one with picture Menu. All very easy to read and understand what you should be getting. I've noticed that there is a lesser favor and quality to the donuts served here. They also offer there own take on a number of different types of Donuts. So a very Big selection of choices for you to walk out of here with. They don't only server donuts but Food too. Menu displays Sandwiches both for breakfast , lunch and a type of smoothly too. I especially like the croissants severed here.. However and I've discussed this very issue with the owners and have tried to inform them of this wrong doing. But they actually refuse and have refused me service. To turn on the ovens or make Breakfast sandwiches in the afternoons. Or even after twelve. They've also stated that there regular Sandwiches, such as the pastrami, are only available before noon. Also by one pm. Everyday there Donut racks are near empty. Still many donuts to choose from. And on the one occasion I've gone in there earlier in the day. They've had a full supply of donuts. After telling them that there refusal to server there full menu. And already having had dealt with there in your face attitude and display of Notices. Such as "The right to Refuse service to anyone." They've gone on to state that "Everyone knows breakfast is over at noon." That "Mc.Donald's doesn't serve breakfast all day." I have tried to inform them that there biased behavior, bigotry and opinion has no place in public service. I've also asked them to please post times for what items are available during there opened hours and was told that " We don't have to." They've also told me that if I want a croissants, as there still are Bagel's and English Muffins, I'd need to awake up near opening time(Four am) and call them for a special order. So that when I do get in there at around one-four pm in the afternoon the croissants could be there. I can tell you that the owners seem to think they set the policy and guidelines for conducting business with the general public. Please consider carefully before coming to this location. Because its clear there more interested in needling you then providing a hassle free service. As well as the personally invasive lines of questioning. read more

I live up the street from this donut shop & absolutely love coming in every time I do! The lovely couple who runs it, Jamie & Tom are the sweetest ever, & its always a good time seeing them. I always get their iced coffees, which are my favorite of all time! (Better than McDonald's or any other fast food iced coffee!!) plus the price is super good for the sizes you pick! The Stevenson Ranch Donut & Bakery is TOO over rated. It's a donut shop. We arrived during the morning hours for some fresh pastry...no luck. (1) the clerk was not patient with her customers, wanted you in & out. We were the only ones there. (2) fresh pastries? Nope, their apple fritters were hard as a hockey puck. I think they were selling the pastries from the night before, (it does open at 5 am). Fresh pastries should be for sale at 5 am. Any pastries left at the end of the day; you place them on gift wrap platters--you either donate them or sell them as "day old" items. The blueberry and raspberry scones are glazed and to die for. Whenever I'm asked to bring a morning treat to a meeting I bring these. They are a huge hit with everyone. I've been coming to this donut shop since my family moved to Santa Clarita in 1997! The same family still remembers me and my siblings when we walk through the door. To be honest, I've only tried their donuts here, but they are the best in town! I recently had my first Cronut here, and they're doing it right! I've yet to try a donut that I didn't love!
