Our favorite cookies in SCV! We have been going to this establishment for many years now and have really appreciated not only the taste of their cookies but the owner as well. The owner is so humble and friendly, just a very genuine person. The cookies are made fresh with the best ingredients. He is very generous with the add ins. Our favorites are the white chocolate cranberry and the toffee chocolate chips but they are all very good. The store has some fun videos games while you wait. The store is mostly designed for pick ups so there are no tables. We have ordered from DW many times for many occasions and have never been disappointed. read more

Do you love cookies? Really, don't lie to yourself... This is the place.. Look no further, this is the place!!! This family run cookie shop is so good!!! Their concoctions are awesome. They bake their cookies everything, and when they are sold out, that's it, it's sold out.. so make sure you come early to get the ones you want, even though they are all good! Inside is just enough space for them to make the cookies, and you can see their workspace too! The cookie counter is clear, you can see exactly what you'd be purchasing. They also sell some drinks to go along with those cookies. Definitely give them a try, they are one of the best cookie shops. read more

When you're craving a cookie and I mean a nice homemade cookie just like your mom used to make you come here. These cookies aren't candy like those big chain cookies you can tell the quality of the ingredients and time taken to make these. They have such a huge variety of flavors to choose from! My favorite being the which chocolate w/ cranberries. They don't skimp on the ingredients but as well as don't go overboard in overpowering the actual cookie. Getting cookies from here feels like you're leaving your grandparents home and they're sending you off with the most delicious cookies to share with your friends... or eat them all and don't tell anyone. DW Cookie Co. is on another level seriously the BEST cookies I've ever had in my life, and I'm not exaggerating. My family and I have been coming here for about 4 years now, and they have never, ever disappointed. Every single visit feels like a treat, and somehow the cookies taste even better each time. The cookie sandwiches? Unreal. Soft, chewy, loaded with flavor you almost have to try them to believe how good they are. My personal favorites are the peanut butter cookies and the brown butter walnut, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Walked in to check it out as I like to buy goodies for client visits. I met Devsr who was super friendly and we chatted about his products. He offered me a sample and I asked for his recommendation and he gave me a walnut chocolate chip. I was totally impressed. When you have cookies from stores and other CNN and, there's always that bad aftertaste that lingers. I had nothing but the enjoyable flavors of a well baked cookie. They have different catering options and a couple of chairs in a table if you just wanna go in and have a cup of coffee and a good cookie. Tons of free parking in the front read more

After over a year of trying to make it here the stars finally aligned. A weekday, after 12pm before 6pm and I was off. It was worth it! The cookies taste homemade and they are delicious. The staff was very nice. I called ahead to make sure they were open and the woman that answered the phone confirmed they were open and unprompted let me know which flavors they had left (it was 5pm). I purchased a half dozen cookies. As we sat in the car getting ready to leave a man (possibly the owner ‍) came out, thanked us for coming and gave us a bag of free cookies! Hands down the best cookie cake I have ever had in my entire life, and I have had many of them in my lifetime! Many people overcook the cookie cake or it's so thin that it has no punch. This cookie cake is extremely thick and dense. I highly recommend having it with a cup of milk. You could up your game if you warm it slightly and put a scoop of ice cream on it. The service was just as good as the food. I ordered from out of town and it was ready right on time. This will be the go to spot moving forward and I'll be giving them business and continuing to spread the word in the future. There's also some games inside, which can help keep the kids entertained. I first tried a DW Cookie last week at a friend's house. When I got back up from the floor, they told me where to get more, so I headed over there today. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Dewar who was very friendly and obviously very proud of his product. After finishing off my first 3 cookies in the parking lot, I went back for a few more. Would you believe he's been in business here for 13 years? I don't know anybody with a bigger sweet tooth than myself, so I can't believe I haven't heard about these cookies before. Absolutely lovely bakery. Generous and warm staff, delicious cookies, and delightful vibes. Was our first time visiting the other night and I must say, the hospitality of the wife (owner) was amazing! She asked the 3 of us if we wanted a sample (since it was our first time), we totally didn't expect the free sample to be any whole cookie of our choice. We proceeded to purchase half a dozen and will CERTAINLY return for more as well as looking forward to trying their home-made ice cream. A hidden gem in Canyon Country. I just recently found out they've been around for 12 years and I've lived here most of my life. It's a family owned business. They give out a free sample when you come in. They are super cool and the cookies are phenomenal. They make ice cream there so you can order an ice cream sandwich. This totally blows any of the other dessert places in Santa Clarita out of the water. read more

I want to preface this review by saying that I like my cookies almost a little under done and very soft. These cookies are kind of crispy and to me that feels a little dry like they could have been done a minute or two earlier. I ate all seven cookies in less than 24 hours. The flavors are really exciting. The owner threw in an extra cookie for me when I ordered half a dozen. I also didn't have any cash on me to tip since I couldn't do it on the card and he was very nice. He basically just said tell your friends about it if you enjoy the cookies. Hands down the greatest cookies anywhere. But the low review is that honestly, we cant get enough of their cookies and they are never ever open. If you own a business like this, be open 9 to 5 every single day so people can go and buy them. Not even a joke, have been by at least 10x and its closed on a Saturday at 1pm, or a Friday at 3, or a Monday at 10am. Seriously, stay open, and keep making them and selling them. read more

Very impressed with the service and the cookies at DW Cookie Co. !! I walked in and was greeted right away with a big smile by Mr. DW himself. It was my first time, so I took a look at all of the Delicious flavors DW has to offer. The flavors that jumped out were the original chocolate chip (with his own recipe), Snickerdoodle, and The Liz cookies. Each cookie had crispy edges and soft centers with the flavors dancing while you're eating them! I haven't had cookies made with this much love since My childhood. Every bite brings back memories! Kinda overdue...I've been coming here since I started working in the area back in 2014. There was a potluck at the office, so I did a search for desserts to bring, and this up-and-coming shop was recommended. First of all, thank you Yelp for doin' your thang leading me here. Second of all, I remember these baker's dozen cookies like it was just an hour ago. Without a doubt, these cookies made quite an impression. Folks were hooked. Over the years, I made many visits to the cookie company for these similar occasions as well as for purchasing as gifts for friends and family members. The typical reactions can be best described as sheer delight. This past winter season I ordered two boxes for the office party, and they went quick. The boxes were situated next to all the other assortment of cookies and sweets, and yet these were one of the few items gone by the end of the event. Comments included, "These are actually really good" and "Can we take more than one?" and also "Let me write down the name of this place." Hooked I tell ya! There were a couple times when the store was closed when I arrived. No worries, life happens. Another occasion I did see the sign that said they were out of cookies. If that doesn't scream fresh and in demand, I don't know what would. Even though prices have gone up over the years, I'll still come by, since I trust the consistency of their quality. read more

The business owner greeted us kindly at the door and had the best customer service! The two cookies we sampled were walnut chocolate chip & salted caramel. They were both high quality and incredibly delicious cookies. They melt in your mouth. We also got a cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream. The cookies were warmed up to perfection! I'm happy to say that customer service took the time to respond, listen to my concern, and ultimately helped resolve the situation. I truly appreciate their effort and professionalism in addressing an issue that I had been trying to resolve. I do wish the store manager had taken the initiative to address the situation when she first responded to my review instead of leaving me to escalate it myself. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes matters. I'm glad that, after escalating the matter, I was finally able to get it resolved.

Today I had a taste for some wonderful baked goods, and this small Mexican bakery has been on Main Street for a while and consistently has delicious fresh goods. I like to get a variety of cookies and pastries for myself and the kids. The girl working couldn't name all the pastries but her service and courtesy was great. I wanted to know the guava "cupcake/pie thing" to recommend, but that's okay. They also make fresh Aqua Frescas here, and I recommend the papaya for its flavor and consistency. Being new to the area, my husband and I continue our mission to find all the special little (or big) independent (family owned) shops to support. It is very important to us as previous business owners to support our community, and the best way we know how, is by shopping with them. We found the DW Cookie Co. tucked away in a small shopping center accompanied by several other independent shops to which we intend to visit in due time. The shopping center itself is unassuming and quaint so when we entered, we were quite surprised and pleased at the ambience of this little cookie shop. It's like taking a step back in time. The aroma hits you as soon as you open the door and your mouth begins to water. A very clean, well kept bakery and the presentation is top notch. The selection is abundant, so deciding what to order was a challenge, but I am also a lover of quality ice cream, so it wasn't too terribly hard for me. I chose the ice cream sandwich with white chocolate cranberry and the founders favorite (chocolate chip, coconut & pecan) flanking the silkiest homemade vanilla ice cream I've tasted in a very, very long time. My mouth was in heaven. Absolutely Divine!! My husband couldn't decide, so he chose the bakers dozen which included a couple of his all time favorites accompanied by a few new combinations he had never tasted. I assure you, these cookies did not last long enough for even the slightest possibility of going stale. The presentation and delivery of the cookies is by far a step above what you might expect. They also have gift baskets and specialty items for all occasions. The warm, courteous service you will receive from the owners/staff offers a feel of "family" which is one of the most important things we look for when choosing places we intend to spend our money. So he messaged me directly telling me to not come back and that he has NEVER gotten a single customer complaint ever until now. He also said I should just go to Ralphs and buy nutter butters instead. We had a fun and interesting back and forth conversation where he expressed his being displeased at my review and implied I made everything up. Such a huge childish man (literally) with an over-inflated ego who can't take criticism. His ego was also offended that I thought he was an employee when in fact he is the owner. Oh my apologies I had no idea you were a one-man team there I didn't mean to hurt your big ego! Now I know why your cookies are just okay. And also, it's true I came back more than once, because it was for convenience reasons. Not because your cookies are a godsend! LOL! Hey mr. owner do you also throw tantrums at those other people who gave you less than stellar reviews? I see quite a few. Been here a couple of times. Cookies here are awesome, very moist and delicious. The draw back is each time I was there I had to settle for what they had available at the time They don't have all the flavors of the cookies ready at all times. But the cookies here are so good that I loved all the flavors that I got to try. The first time I was there I had a chocolate flavor which I really liked. Second time around the oatmeal cookie hit the spot well. If your just going to walk in don't expect to choose, but if you are prepared and pre order your in advance, you can be sure that you'll get your favorite. read more
