I asked about extra services and was told that since it was going to be such a busy weekend that he wouldn't need anything, and she talked me out of the extras. When I picked him up, I was shocked at how badly he smelled of urine. There is no doubt that they just left him to lay in his own urine the whole time I was gone. The smell was so bad that I had to drive home with the windows down and then took him straight into the shower when we arrived. I don't know if he got any attention or if he was actually let out at all. The urine smell suggests that he wasn't. They could have done so much better. I would not recommend that anyone leave their pets here.

I came here for three reasons: 1) I have a dog that pulls on the leash and she was able to fit my corgi properly with a harness (because I was certain I was doing it wrong.) and she gave me tips and encouragement to continue training for better behaviors. 2) I am super picky about ingredients in dog food and treats and she was able to give me a ton of insight to confirm my research and suggest some things to pay attention to. 3) Lastly, my dog is a chewer and I have been scared that most options out there have the risk of tooth breakage. April was able to give me lots to think about and had good options on what else would work for us.

I thought there was no communication about class cancellation besides 'checking the website'. No emails, no notifications of social media, nothing. I have gone to class TOO MANY TIMES (I can count 6 times off the top of my head) where class has been cancelled and I showed to the building not knowing what's going on. Nothing on social media, which is where she frequently posted. There also was no descriptions of seperating the levels. No guidelines or explaination of the difference between levels 1 and 2 and what your dog must do to get there. No updates on the dog's progress. No communication on what is holding them back or way to improve to move up levels. Teachers also picked favorites and made it very obvious who they were and ignored everyone else. However, I did appreciate the open enrollment which was easy for humans. But it wasn't convenient for wanting to progress your dog. No 'final test' or testing days. Just lots of practice and don't get my wrong, practice isn't a bad thing! Overall it's great deal for your dollar and a great deal for dog with no major issues. We now go to a new trainer and have zero Intentions of ever coming back.

We waited for over 30 minutes to get some help with purchasing the parakeets. There was only three…read morepeople working when they first opened up. This was a Thursday morning. One lady was at the register, another stocking shelves and the third missing. I went to the lady at the register and asked for help, she made an announcement. We waited and waited, then another lady came to relieve the lady at the register and started doing paperwork. I had to go up again and ask for help. She came a few minutes later to get the birds out of their cage. But I could tell she was not very pleased at me calling attention to their delay. The First Lady came by to apologize and said she needed to go to the restroom. I respect that and understand but I do not appreciate the attitude the other worker displayed. She even grabbed the bird roughly with her hands, I thought a net should have been used. It was just her whole persona was a bit off. My girls have waited years to get these birds, they saved their hard earned money to buy them. It makes me sad that we were treated with a bit of contempt because of the lack of priority that customers apparently have here. The paperwork could have waited young lady. Customers should have been helped first.

But this time, she came home and has been her normal, energized self. The staff is very kind, and understanding, and take the time to know your pup. They also provided some touch-up training with recall and Juniper has been doing so well at home. We couldn't recommend them enough!
