We have a 1.5 year rescue dog that we decided needed more discipline training than what we were able to do on our stubborn mixed breed pooch. We boarded our five month hold rescue dog Josie for training. Our initial meeting with Lori was very informative. We were asked to provide behaviors that we wanted addressed. Lori was confirmed that she could help us out. She recommended a two week stay to begin with. A third week was necessary to continue addressing Josie's aggressive behavior. Josie was abused by men and had to fight for food at the shelter in Cabo San Jose, Baja Mexico. Due to her past she was aggressive towards men, toys and very aggressive with food. During training Josie lived in a home with several other dogs and learned how to share food, toys and groom herself. Lori is a wonderful trainer and provided us with daily updates and photos. We met with Lori during the third week to see Josie's progress. Lori provided us with instructions to continue Josie's training using the terminology that was familiar. Following the three week training session Lori made a visit to our home. It was evident by how Josie reacted to Lori that they both adored and had great resected for each other. 24 minutes ago NEW Yesterday I called the number on file to see about training my puppy with me present during. No one answered alright no big deal I did not leave a message as I figured I would try again later. Well someone called me back a few hours later and when I answered they didn't say anything just sat there listening to me say hello and ask if anyone was there only to be met with silence. So I hung up They called back again didn't say anything at first when I said Don't call me again I heard something that sounded like profanity and then they hung up. I then sent them a message telling them not to contact me again and that they were blocked. They called 2 more times and sent 9 messages that all went to my spam folder as I blocked the number. Well fast forward to this morning when I decided to check and see what they said. I was told to f off bich (yes they really misspelled that word lol) Then I was told that they never said that when I mentioned contacting Brown directly to let her know how her business was being run. I have the screenshots to prove it if anyone's interested. I also know for a fact that those dogs are not being taken care of properly when the owners are not present as I have insider knowledge to that as well. She lacks professionalism, rude and mean. Sent my dog to her and he came back sick, scared to death, and behavior worse then when we sent him to her. She did not have proof of insurance, and her business is not registered. We decided we wanted to pick up our dog and she kept refusing to allow us to come and pick him up. And said she'd bring him when she was done. Tired of this we went to hmtge place where she said she had a building to train the dogs. Long behold it's a small house. One you walk in it's a disaster, filthy and gross. Should be condemended. You will also her shinning and crying of dogs coming from her basement. Once we left she harassed us and threatened us. We had to file a police report twice. Her background was also terrible. For the sake of your dog do not use her. There are safer more reliable and trustworthy people. She also claimed us and said our dog shouldn't be living with us and did nt deserve us. We have all of her messages saved as proof. I have spoken to a few people who have used her services and have felt the same way. At first we were a little hesitant as the house isn't the cleanest but then I thought a house that trains animals might be hard to keep spotless. Lori is great with animals and our shihpoo came back after spending 2.5 weeks there potty trained and listens great. When we sent him there we were about to give up on the little guy, but I'm so glad we didn't and we gave Lori a chance. Please think for yourselves and don't take a bad review for granted. we took out dog to this place and they did fantastic things my goldendoodle is so much more behave our friends had asked us what happened is this the same dog. we laughed and said yes and they wanted the number so they could get their dog in, and they were very professionable, loving, kind people and the owner was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate us and we didn't have a lot of money and they worked with us on that, and we were so impressed with everything their we are sure to use their other services as well and they work very close with a vet just 6 blocks from them, and so not sure where these last people got their info or what was really wrong for them to say such things but we found out they are great they took better care then I think we did with our dog, he loves it their and when she does the follow up visit he was so happy to see her, that is very impressive to me and my wife we tell our friends and its great that it is a home base as my dog was very comfortable there. read more
