Heartbreaking Experience - Complete Failure in Service and Compassion…read more I took my vehicle to the Jiffy Lube at 1930 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC on October 15, 2025, for a diagnostic and other services. My car had a few issues but was running fine when I brought it in. The very next day, it wouldn't start at all. An employee tried to drive it to a nearby gas station, where it completely broke down and became inoperable. My car was left there, and I was offered no help or support to get it back. Later, I was told the head gasket had blown and that no refund or solution would be provided. What made this even more devastating is that the manager watched me scramble to find money to fix my car, knowing I needed it to attend my grandmother's funeral. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. Because of this experience, I lost both money and my vehicle. Jiffy Lube truly failed me--both in service and in basic human decency. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Mind you my interior is beige cloth. Its obvious my car was used for shop or personal use. My cluster was never program to its proper mileage so now my car shows 50,000 less miles than it really is. Had to ask for documentation twice from Bailey. Was given a $50 gift car for gas reimbursement. I had several billing discrepancies. Bailey tried to charge me for programming until i called him on it. Just a all around horrible experience at Mason and Sons at 215 college st. downtown Greenville sc. Not so sure of anyone elses experience but mine was horrible and I will never recommend this shop to anyone. Bailey tried to seriously cheat me out of a quality job and money. He came out, and I felt like he gave me an honest diagnostic, it cost $80 and I felt good about the information he provided. However, my truck was going to need to get towed as it was in not starting. Josh wrote up a contract that I would pay him half the money up front, he would purchase the parts and then upon completion of the work I would pay the remainder in full. I agreed, and proceeded to send Josh half the money. Since he got the money he has dropped off the face of the earth and I have not received so much as a text update from him. I called Square (his payment processor, that he wrote the contract through) and have he won't even respond to them. They're now telling me I need to go through my bank to try and process a refund. Today's date: June 20,2025 Last communication received from business: May 9, 2025. Beware.... Do not recommend.
