My husband and I decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised! The customer service is great, the baristas were very friendly. As for the coffee itself, it was perfect. I really enjoyed the flavor of the espresso used in my latte. We both tried the campfire latte and really enjoyed it, it's definitely on the sweeter side. This is an amazing local coffee spot that is consistently good and has the friendliest, most welcoming staff that make you want to keep coming back! I have tried a few drinks so far - their Spanish Latte has that perfect creamy cinnamon flavor, and their Strawberry Matcha/Matcha Lattes are amazing as well. They've earned a spot in my top 2 places to get matcha in the IE. I really want to see this place succeed and open their own storefront someday soon, they deserve it! If I could give ZERO stars I would. We placed a text order at 11 am for three lattes. Specified we would be there in 30 min (1030). Got there at 1030 am and there is a huge line. Texted the business and they said we could come to the front of the line for mobile order pick ups. Got to the front of line and they haven't even started our order. Waited another 15 minutes because we were told our order was being made now. 15 min later still no coffee. Worker asks my husband "what was your order again?" Meanwhile making everyone else's order that was behind us in line. It was now over an hour after our original order was placed and CONFIRMED. No apology or I'm sorry. An hour and 20 min later and we still have no coffee and no apology whatsoever from Steve's coffee. Absolutely horrendous customer service. They have kids running this with no one with any common sense managing it. It is very unorganized and a literal shitshow in there. I asked for a manager and it is an hour and 30 minutes later and have yet spoken to one. We left and did not get our coffee. We have a busy jam packed day (visiting from Hawaii) and wasted an hour and a half on coffee we DID NOT get. We come to Ontario a lot and always make Steve's coffee a daily thing when we are here. I got the Golden Sunrise with oat milk and vanilla cold foam, and it was honestly one of the best iced lattes I've ever had. I have had my fair share of coffee and I'm particular about how it's made, but this coffee had the perfect balance of espresso flavor and sweetness. Finding the location is a bit awkward, but the little booth is otherwise welcoming. I had been wanting to try this place after seeing it on Instagram. I ordered the s'mores latte and it was SO GOOD! You can tell that they use quality espresso. The employees are very friendly! There were 2 people making the drinks and another person delivering curbside orders. The 2 baristas were chatting with me, which created a welcoming environment. When I went (around 9:30am on a Wednesday) they weren't busy so my drink was ready in just a couple minutes. They're located on the 3rd story of the Loma Linda building. It's a little tricky to find parking / the coffee shop, but I eventually found it in this plaza across from Haven City Market, on the 3rd floor in the Loma Linda Clinic, building 8599. I got the Golden Sunrise with whole milk and cold foam. It had a bold espresso flavor with a good sweetness to it. The was a lot of ice too, making the drink cold for a warm day like today. They immediately make you feel welcomed and comfortable (as someone who tends to take a while to feel comfortable). The atmosphere is very nice and has a cozy feel to it. The only thing that sucks is that they are located in a office building, and my first time going there I got a little lost but luckily someone was leaving the building who had just got coffee from them, and pointed me in the right direction. However, when I checked their instagram after, I saw that they do post on Instagram what floor number they are on, so make sure to look at that. The inside workspace is business oriented whether for school or professionally. Looks like a great place for work and meetings. The major drawback is very limited public seating , for the workspace is for only paid memberships.
