The food is pretty good! I like that they serve both coffee and cocktails. I wish they had more sugar free options and the staff is not very friendly or welcoming, but the atmosphere is unique and I love the unique decor.

I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. Kind of dark, kind of different, and great staff. I ordered a chai and let me say that it was delicious! Will be coming back for another sip fr. Also got a breakfast croissant and it was good! Nothing insane but yummy for sure. They had a ton of pastry and food options as well as tea, coffee and drinks. Come for a great time and lots of seating!

This is a great coffee shop that is surprisingly charming! There's two rooms of different seating options and unique decor like chandeliers and old-timey portraits. I got an iced coco mocha which was delicious and well priced. It was busy when I went in on Sunday morning, but the service was pretty fast. I would definitely come back here.

Steve's espresso has been my number 1 Favorite coffee place for a really long time but today they just blew me out of the water with their kindness. Everyone here is always so human and I'm so grateful for the way that they treat each customer individually. It's very refreshing, especially in a very busy coffee shop. Today Jonathan allowed me to take my order over the phone while I sat in the front parking spot and my children slept in the car. And since they take Apple Pay, I was able to run in and grab my order and pay all within 30 seconds while seeing my kids from the window. This isn't just a post about their kindness and humanity. The coffee here is absolutely amazing so bold, but never bitter. And the place itself is super cozy and great for catching up with friends or working because it is split down the middle with booths. 1/2 of the shop is couches and tables and the other side is more community style seating. They have amazing food and fresh baked bakery items every single day. Also if you're interested, they do serve alcohol! They are open early and they stay open late for a coffee shop, which is also helpful and wonderful.

I was very surprised when I came here! I have worked next to Steve's Espresso for years but have never tried it. I decided to walk over and was very impressed. There was tons of seating inside, lots of people there enjoying their drinks. We got a lavender dirty chai and a pistachio latte. Both very good and would come back to try other drinks!

The good: friendly and efficient staff, great seating options, good music volume (I met a friend and we were able to hear each other as we chatted), and comfortable temperature. The treats in the bakery case looked delicious and they even had a gluten-free cookie option that looked yummy. The so so: my Americano was weak. There we're only three decaf tea options and of those, one was sweetened with Stevia, one had a lot going on flavor blend-wise, and the one my friend opted to get (hibiscus mint) just wasn't great. The furniture and walls were worn and tired looking.

Super cool vibe and friendly staff. I got the two breakfast tacos for $6.50 and they were good. Got to go back for the $16 bottomless mimosas sometime.

I have been coming to Steve's for about 18 years. I worked in the area and stumbled on the place. I am always looking for a new coffee place trying to find a special one. I found a very special one here. I mostly stick with an espresso pull or an iced Americano with very little water. The ice melts fast enough to water it just fine. No WiFi but the vibe is so quiet and chill I have to pull out my hotspot, get some emails done and try to relax. I saw a review talking about the wood being worn. That is just the style. I don't think it looks much different that the first day they punched through to the space next door to expand the seating. The beans are spot on. There are baked goods if you want to munch on something while you sip.

First time visit to Steve's Espresso this weekend! We had spent the morning on our friends boat and looking for a quick bite and pick me up near his house. On the corner of McClintock and Baseline, we found Steve's Espresso. It offers a shared parking lot, the sign says COFFEE in big letters on the outside, which marks the spot! The inside is quaint and cozy with various seating from tables to chairs, couches or booths. It was much larger than I would have expected from the outside! It's counter service, they offer a whole coffee and tea menu, but also a full food menu. I ordered the breakfast sandwich in a croissant and an iced chai latte. They handed me my "Berlin" sign, or marker and food arrived about 5-10 minutes later! I snagged my chai at the bar while I waited. The sandwich came with Muenster, bacon, egg and chipotle aioli. It was delicious , but I would have loved it even more if the croissant or entire sandwich was warmed, it felt a little unbalanced with the cold croissant. You also have the option for toast or bread. I added the pickled onions, which I love on pretty juicy anything! The value is definitely there. Their food is incredibly priced and hits the spot if you want something quick and more than just a pastry. My chai was absolutely delish! Made in house and creamy and delicious. The service was great, both gentlemen were very friendly through the whole process. I would definitely return!

My friends and I had our book club meeting at Steve's Espeesso last Sunday morning. We chose those place because it has more seating than our usual coffee spot. The place was packed when I arrived at 8:45am and all the big tables were taken. After waiting 10 min, w were able to snag a large table by the front door. Steve's is situated in a strip mall parking lot that I've passed many times but can honestly say never noticed. The coffee shop has an interesting and cozy aesthetic. It is darker inside (although not at the table we sat at which was by the front window) and has eclectic art everywhere you look. There is a sizable food, drink, and pastry menu with a few vegan options. I ordered the iced mango black tea which was fresh but not the best tea I've ever had. From what I was told, most of the teas have stevia in them which I'm not a fan of as I prefer my tea unsweetened. Overall, this is a great meeting spot with a funky comfortable atmosphere. I cannot judge the rest of the food and drinks based on my one tea, so I say skip the tea and give this place a try!

What a wonderful place to spend a Sunday morning. I loved how the place had all types of seating. This is a community gathering spot with everyone vibrant and connecting. I loved my corn tacos and didn't have to wait long. They were delicious. My seasonal drink was piping hot how I like it. The service was efficient, warm, helpful and timely. Outdoor seating was a small area but clean. My only wish was for coconut milk option. I will likely get over it because it was otherwise fantastic. Great place to explore from the coffee passport booklet

My favorite local coffee shop to visit when I need to get out of the house! Their coffee is amazing, but I love their breakfast and lunch items. The aioli they use is my favorite. A great place to meet up with a friend or get some work done.

This place came up and it's somewhat hidden behind the QT off Baseline, so I've never noticed it before. It's pretty big inside, much bigger than it appears from the front. There is plenty of seating areas and tons of TVs. There are a couple of pool tables, electronic dart boards, virtual golf game stations, and possibly other games I didn't see. It was not busy when we first arrived but it picked up while we were there. When we arrived we headed to the main bar area. Service started out a bit slow, we were at a table in the bar area but no one was coming over, so we found 2 seats at the bar itself and then things were fine. Bartender was friendly and gave good service. The beers and drinks are a good price. I think on happy hour my pint was $5.25. One of our beers on tap was 3.75. I had the Sam Adams Summer Ale, which they just put on tap for the season. It's so good, very light and refreshing. The food at Doc & Eddy's is solid pub food too. We both liked what we had-- the cheesesteak and surf & turf burrito. I would definitely come back and watch other games here.

Classic pub food, happy hour, karaoke, trivia, pool tables, darts, arcade games, and plenty of TVs for sports, basically a little something for everyone. We sat at the bar with one of the regulars, so the staff came by to check on us here and there, which was super nice. We ended up sitting right by the trivia screen, so the three of us played against each other. The boys were shouting out trivia answers like championship points were on the line. Me? It was Friday night and my brain was officially off-duty. No thinking for this girl. The place was lively, fun, and totally poppin' for a Friday night. Great casual spot to hang out, play games, grab drinks, and enjoy the crowd.

They were voted Best Wings in Phoenix and after trying them, I can see why. The wings go through a three-step cooking process: baked, fried, then finished on the grill. I ordered the house specialty, the Whitney Wings, which are a mix of Sweet Thai Chili, Cajun, and Garlic. Such a great combo, and the wings came out crispy, juicy and full of flavor. The service was fast and friendly and they got us in and out with plenty of time to make it to the game. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

We stopped in after I got off work, and sat at the bar & got the pineapple soft serve margs, which the bartender lady had told us were $5 each. We thought that was a good deal so we ordered a second round. We also put in a food order for some of their wings, which I've been hearing raving reviews about. I ordered 6 of their Whitney wings and she ordered the Garlic parm wings. Hers were a bit salty for my liking but they weren't bad. The Whitney wings, on the other hand, were incredible! The char on them was great but not substantial, and the flavor from the sauce had my mouth watering. These wings were pretty easy for me to break apart and tear the bones out before dunking the chicken hide into my ranch cup, and I devoured them so quickly. We were very satisfied with the food and the bar was very extensive and had a rather large selection of liquor to choose from. Plenty of beer and seltzers for those looking for that sort of thing as well. Would come back here for the wings again and the soft serve, my only real complaint stems from the bill coming out, which revealed the soft serve margaritas to be $32 for the 4 we ordered, which were $8 a piece, over a $10 different than what it would've been had the bartender not lied to us about the pricing of the singular item. Not sure if she was mistaken or if she had blatantly told us a cheaper price so as to keep us buying more of them, but it threw me off a bit for sure. Regardless it was very good and I'm sure we'll be back, but that's what's holding me back from giving this place 5 stars, unfortunately.

It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.
