This is a great little coffee house/cafe. There is a rather extensive menu with lots of coffee, read, and smoothies. They also have a menu of breakfast and lunch items. You can buy bags of coffee to take home, too. There is a case with donuts and pastries. I love that they have some colorful earrings and tumblers for sale. The person at the register was so nice and helpful, making sure to go over all our options with us. This place was a burger king in it's forever life, but all of the old signs of plastic booths are gone, and that have been replaced with wooden tables, industrial metal chairs, a bar height communal table, and a leather sofa/chair conversation area. I love the beamed ceiling and the mountain scene made in wood on the wall. We ordered an iced turtle mocha and a cold brew. Both were delish. I never drink black coffee, but the cold brew was so good I would drink it black. We also ordered roast beef melt, panini style, and the ham and Swiss melt, also panini style. Both were yummy. They were each served with a pickle and a bag of chips. There were several people working on laptops when we were here. They even have a printer available which is a huge plus for people here working. There were several rainbow flags and even a rainbow themed drink of the month, so this place is definitely lbgtq+ friendly. I came here to meet my friend. It very nice and much bigger then a Phoenix location I have gone to. They seem to always be busy thru the drive thru orders. I got the Elvis which is my favorite!! I didn't try any food (never do) only cause the drink is enough carbs for this diabetic. lol. I prefer to drink them. I will come back. read more

I got my usual - plain iced latte - and it was good! There's a nice amount of seating and the music was a great chill vibe. It wasn't too loud and the atmosphere in general was pretty quiet, so it was perfect for reading or studying. The barista was kind and efficient in taking my order. During the weekend decided to try Renegade Coffee. Awesome to see a drive through! I ordered an iced caramel latte. It comes with two shots however my drink tasted more on the milk side. If you're looking for a stronger cup of coffee, I'd recommend adding in an extra shot. Service was great! I'll be back to try their hot drinks. read more

I was a bit uncertain when I drove up as the building and surrounding area look rather run-down. I saw several heads from outside so popped in and loved the interior and police presence connecting at the community table. I enjoyed a small smoothie with OJ, mango and banana flavors. I forgot to add an energy boost and the option wasn't mentioned at the counter when I ordered, so I missed that. The smoothie is good -- not too sweet, not as tart as I asked for but not bad. The avo toast took a while but is good. Bread is lukewarm though has a nice char. Does feel like it sat a bit too long. The avocado was good, chill, flavorful. I would have liked it more chunky but it was a good choice at a reasonable price, under $6.00. I did ask if they had lime when I picked up my toast. I was told that they don't, but then I open my toast and there is a lemon slide. I would have appreciated their offering the alternative of lemon if they had zest. Unfortunately no one went above and beyond here to meet wants/needs so I'd call this a 3-star average dining/drinking/service experience but with a comforting lobby experience among guests, so I'll give it a 4 star overall, enhanced by the community presence. read more

Really love the openness of renegade and the employer were really nice. I got the sassy surprised and I really liked it. Service was fast and my friend and I got our food and drinks quickly. The cheese for the pretzel bites was really good and the food came out nice and hot but the pretzel bites themselves were a little burnt. They look like mini hamburgers and the coloring isn't far off. I would come back again to try other smoothie flavors and get other food items. No pretzel bites for me though. read more

It was awkward when we walked in as the two employees who were working just side eyed us when we approached the counter. Since it was our first time in, we we weren't ready and just needed time to look over the menu. We had a few menu questions but ended up being to scared to ask... I settled with a small iced marshmallow latte with soy milk and my friend had a small banana latte with oatmilk. We sat down at one of the empty tables as there were several tables being used. The inside was playing music good music and the table we sat at was clean. The barista was kind enough to bring us our drinks which we did not expect from the first encounter we had with them.. The drinks were unfortunately just mid - nothing special. My coffee was bitter and in no way tasted like any marshmallow flavoring. My friend said the same about her banana latte. read more

This place is an absolute gem! I stopped by Renegade Coffee Company with a friend and had such a great experience. I ordered the hot chai tea with oat milk medium, and it was perfectly spiced and comforting--just what I needed. We also shared the deluxe tomato, bacon, avocado toast on gluten-free bread with an egg on top, and wow... it was so good! Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. My friend ordered the iced chai with oat milk and two pumps of sugar-free vanilla small, and she loved it. She mentioned next time she would do one pump. The vibe of the place is super cute and cozy--definitely the kind of spot you want to hang out in with a friend and enjoy a slow morning or afternoon chat over coffee. This place is highly unimpressive, unfortunately. This morning I ordered their caramel macchiato (large, iced) and a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a pretzel bun. The iced coffee was 24oz for a large, and it cost about $12. I definitely did NOT get what I paid for with the coffee. The sandwich, while decent enough, had pretty much zero flavor outside of the pretzel bun, which was disappointing. I really don't feel like I got my money's worth ($19) and I doubt I'll be back again. read more

There was one section that had four couch like seats but the rest of the shop was hard tables and chairs. Today was my third time visiting renegade and every experience has been really lovely. I can't remember the name of the cashier that made my drink and helped me but she was awesome. I'm pregnant and I had ordered the wrong drink and she switched it out for less caffeinated beverage and I really appreciated her remaking my drink for me without hesitation I get really shy about things like that. Every time I come here it's nice and cool inside. AC is always blasting. The drive-through is busy but you could tell the barista's here mean business. I still have not tried the food, but the drinks are always a hit. I'm excited to become a regular here. read more

Nice place, chia latte was decent. Burrito was disappointing. My wife's potatoes were still frozen and there just wasn't much flavor at all.

When I come into the coffee shop everyone is nice. I appreciated that one of the ladies that works here uses simple sign language with me. Like Thank you. Which I appreciated.. I love their grilled egg bacon burrito.. And I tried The spicy ultimate bagel for breakfast. It was good too.. I tried one of their cookies and cream latte.. which tasted good to me. Coffees are very good but I haven't had good luck with the energy drinks or teas. The iced tea was very weak and the energy drink was really tart. Service was great too. This is a solid spot for coffee. read more

This is one of my favorite places to study. There is usually a steady crowd that comes in, but the place is spacious and the tables are big. It never feels too crowded or too noisy. Also, there's a plethora of outlets! The coffee is strong, I usually stick to cold brews. I also like getting sandwiches or some of the tasty pastries if I'm there for a bit. From my experience, the customer service is always great. The staff are always friendly and pretty fast. read more

I went to add the picture & realized I didn't have a review which is odd because this is my favorite coffee shop & I recommend it all the time. The location is super convenient for me right between work & home. If I'm meeting up with people it's close to the freeway & easy to find for out of towners. There's plenty of seating whether you need a cozy spot on the couch or space to do some work. I'm pretty sure there's even a printer & places to plug in your laptop. We were pretty stoked to have a new coffee shop open so close to us! Though we don't go here often, it's great in a pinch or quick trip. Their menu is extensive, space is large and it really covers all the basis! Onto the deets! There is nothing particularly negative about Renegade, but there is also nothing particular amazing either. I love the extensive menu options, they truly can cover all the needs from cold brew, coffee, lattes, teas to energy drink concoctions. They have a great menu offerings from breakfast, pastries and sandwiches and plenty of healthy or vegetarian variations. The prices are relatively reasonable and they offer sit in, drive thru and have a patio, though it's facing University road so not the most relaxing. The reason for the three stars is nothing I've had had been particularly stand out. Food is not bad, the monster breakfast burrito is unique and the veggies they put in are very untraditional such as mushrooms and spinach. The avocado toast, was okay, I added the egg, assuming it was over easy, it came out scrambled. My mistake for not specifying, but also would have appreciate being asked. We have had food out in 5 minutes and also in 20 minutes, so not sure if it was a fluke or one off! LOVED the pup cups with bones, was very cute and sweet touch and I can vouch for doggos, they also greatly appreciated. Overall, definitely does the trick and we will continue to stop in on the occasion. Maybe as I work my way through the menu I'll find something that hits the mark! read more

Super disappointed in my coffee, I ordered an iced latte with lavender, honey and oatmilk. The person who took my order gave it to me within 30 seconds of me paying, which makes me wonder if they freshly brew their espresso, and the latte was so gross. Like genuinely unbearable. My goto breakfast is a bagel sandwich with egg and bacon, it just hits the spot. If it's lunch time, then I am going for the Cranberry Croissant. It's a buttery croissant with cranberry, mayo, lettuce, turkey and tomato it's the perfect day after thanksgiving sandwich that you can have anytime! I've been here a total of 3 three times and I was disappointed. I wanted to try a new coffee spot, this place was super close so I decided to give it a try. The first time I went, i let them know it was my first time and if they had any recommendations & I enjoy sweet coffee drinks, they didn't recommend me anything lol. So I got just a simple vanilla iced coffee. 0/10 it was terrible, had no flavor. I couldn't even fix it at home. I decided to give it another try a few months later, and I ordered a cookie type drink, it was okay, 6/10 wasn't the worst but it was drinkable! The iced blackberry white chocolate mocha I got was very good! I could taste the blackberry and it had a nice amount of sweetness. My veggie sandwich took a while to make but it was a tasty concoction. It had a light crisp exterior from being pressed and had a delightful mix of vegetables. I didn't miss the lack of meat at all.
