    Bottomless black iced tea
    Katie A.

Wow! I had no idea such great tea/coffee existed in this part of Mesa! Part of my own ignorance, but I am so grateful for a tool like Yelp! to connect users with new parts of town. I live in Mesa/Gilbert - but we live just far enough away we never think about coming to downtown Mesa for food and drinks, and man are we missing out!!! We wanted to go to the Arizona Museum of Natural History and after we were done I really wanted to try Lost Dutchman Coffee House because I read on Yelp! it was excellent! Yelp! wasn't wrong - we ordered two, large (bottomless) black iced teas and it was DELICIOUS!! We could have hung out all day and just drank the tea. The barista was really friendly and they had a diverse menu of drinks and pastries. Lots of seating and many people were studying/meeting with friends/and reading. I'll be back!!

This place is right across the street from my work, so we come here often. They have a nice selection of coffees and some pastries and ice cream. think they have a couple of breakfast sandwiches, but it seems like one is always sold out. The girls here are really nice and they do their best to get your order exactly as you want. Prices are good. If you come at the wrong time, the line can be pretty long with people from the city of Mesa.

I stopped by Lost Dutchman Coffee House in downtown Mesa on a Monday morning around 7:45 AM--definitely one of their busier times. The line moved a bit slowly, and I ended up waiting about 15 minutes for my order. I got an iced cookies and cream latte with oat milk and a ham & cheese croissant melt. The coffee started off tasting great, but within 7-10 minutes it got pretty watered down, which was a bit disappointing--possibly due to too much ice or just sitting too long before I could really enjoy it. That said, the croissant melt was fantastic--flaky, warm, and super flavorful. The interior had a cozy, inviting vibe, with a few work-friendly areas and a local bulletin board with events and happenings around downtown Mesa. I've lived nearby for a while and have always wanted to check them out, so when I had a training across the street, it was the perfect chance. I might give them another try during a slower hour to sit in and take in the full experience without the morning rush.

"Breakfast muffin" comes with no egg

Coffee is pretty ok , Nothing special. But I did get a "breakfast muffin". Upon getting to hospital room where I was taking a family member breakfast we opened to find it was only muffin, meat patty and cheese. I returned back to the Lost Dutchman thinking they forgot the egg but was told that's it--no egg. So don't call it a breakfast muffin. Just call it meat and cheese muffin. And the girl who I asked was very nonchalant about it. (Black hair, lots of piercings)

Rustic looking coffee shop serving up an array of combinations. Feels comfy and cozy inside. I really like the big wooden booths. The black coffee was good. I tried the 24k and it was delicious. Order at the counter and pick it up when they call your order. They also have a great tea selection. The prices were average. They serve pastries, but we didn't try anything. Next time! There's a small parking lot adjacent to the coffee shop.

I stopped in for a small, iced coffee and a bathroom break. It was hot outside, and I just was popping in for some relief. Nice service. Kind of a dark place. But plenty of coffee options. My coffee was good.

It's not my first time at Lost Dutchman, but today's visit was absolutely fabulous. Why? Catarina, the Barista was amazing. Working solo, she was running around making hot chocolates, americanos, lattes, heating croissants up, serving the must delicious almond poppy seed loaf...Ive never seen such a great happy barista multi tasker. She steamed oak milk for my very flavorful Americano too. This review is really all about Catarina. Owners, she deserves a raise. The List Dutchman is a great, homey, comfortable shop with delicious pastries. You can definitely spend time with a his book.

Got a chance to go in and enjoy the coffee. I enjoyed the coffee, the barista was able to match my sweet tooth. It was so quick and delicious. I loved the vibe of the shop, loved the fact they list the coffee brew of the day. This coffee shop had some really comfy seats, community boards listed everywhere, and the different sweets offered. From baked goods, gelato floats, to gelato. I got the cranberry orange loaf, and it was so flavorful and soft to share. I did not like one of baristas attitude towards me and didn't appreciate having my loaf being tossed at me. I didn't like the almost getting electrocuted for trying to plug my computer in. I will definitely be back for sure though.

Thanks Jon H. for reviewing to put on my radar to check out! This place is pretty charming and quaint, so seating can be a little hard to find if the location is busy. Thankfully my Yelp bestie Chelsey H. and I could snag the last table for a moment, then took our drinks to go. I was bummed they didn't have a vegetarian breakfast sandwich item available, so it was just the drink for me this visit. The hot mocha was delicious and pretty standard for a hot mocha at a local coffee shop. A solid coffee shop if in the area and needing a pick-me-up with friendly service.

One of the things that I like to do when moving to a new area of town is to look for local coffee shops near home. I moved to Mesa not too long ago and came across Lost Dutchman Coffee House in my search. Downtown Mesa is a hidden gem with the Art Centers, restaurants and shops up and down Main Street. Lost Dutchman Coffee House is also on Main Street near a light rail stop in downtown Mesa. It is very well situated for the surrounding businesses in the area. Lost Dutchman Coffee Roasters sources and roasts their own beans. I like a coffee shop that offers a quality cup of coffee. The shop itself has a mix of tables, couches and high tops. I have camped out here a few times with a laptop and have enjoyed my time here and my coffee drinks. The menu at Lost Dutchman has all your typical coffee drinks along with some of their own creations. They also have smoothies and teas. Food and snacks include pastries and gelato. The gelato comes from a local company called Lombardo's. A coffee house with both espresso and gelato means that they can make affogatos. They offer that here at Lost Dutchman and can also make shakes and floats. The only bummer for me is that there are not late hours here for night owls like me. Lost Dutchman Coffee House closes up before the sun goes down. Lost Dutchman Coffee House has been a great find and definitely a place I would hang out again.

Cool little coffee shop in Downtown Mesa! Service was amazing, Lucy and Payton assisted us and they were the best and super friendly. The coffees are great and there's an assortment of pastries and breads to snack on if you wish. My caramel macchiato blend was just what I needed. Loved it! On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll hit this place again for sure, just for the service alone.

Everything about it just feels right -- the vibe, the people, and especially the food. You can tell they actually care. The staff is super welcoming and generous, not in a forced way, just genuinely good energy from the second you walk in. Food-wise, they don't miss. The honeycomb with cream cheese inside is insane -- sweet, rich, and something you don't really see anywhere else. The Dubai chocolate latte is a must-try too, super smooth and indulgent without being over the top. The beef samosas are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the chocolate pistachio croissant is easily one of the best pastries I've had in a while. Honestly, every time I go I end up trying something new and it's always solid. You can tell they put real thought into everything they serve. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I came across Moka & Co while searching for the best Dubai-style coffee in the area, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Dubai iced coffee is really good--while it didn't quite top the one I had in New York, it definitely ranks as my second favorite. The only downside is the price. A 16 oz drink was $10, which feels a bit steep for a medium-sized coffee. Overall, though, it's a great option if you're craving a Dubai-style iced coffee without leaving Arizona.

Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Ended up parking in a free parking garage, but it was a little bit of a walk to the coffee shop from the parking garage.
