The plant was medium sized, at best, and something for which I could have paid $25 at Menards. It was blooming and it was healthy but not at all "large". I'm in the military and my mom lives in the area, so I try to get her flowers for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, her birthday, etc, especially with the passing of my step-dad. Not all florists are the same so it's great when you can find a reliable florist for a quality arrangement. However, this Valentine's Day my mom sent me the picture of the flowers and candy she received, and shared it with her friends, and I was taken back by the flowers. While my mom was happy with the flowers, it was a smaller arrangement than what I had purchased. The pics show the difference. steves flowers is the absolute worse!! it's just a shame there arent any other choices here. I ordered through the funeral home website for my cousins funeral. I ordered monets basket and the flowers paled in comparison to what was sent but at least mine arrived. my mom also ordered from him a basket of live flowers with some fresh thrown in days in advance. her flower never arrived. we called from funeral home and he said it was there behind the podium. We assured him it was not. He then said that it might have the wrong card on it. Then he asked for the name again and it was supposedly sitting in the shop and he would bring it right over. Did not show up before going to grave yard. Called the following day to get a refund to which he said he would not refund it that it was in the funeral homes office. Not only do you have one time to do this but when it's the florist fault they won't return the money? i was very polite in asking for a refund but was told my moms flowers got mixed in another funerals flowers. In response to your response: The natural bouquet from 2021 is simple and beautiful, so beautiful that I had my father cremated with it. These were his favorite flowers. The 2023 bouquet below was thrown together, pinned together, and common sense should have dictated that since this was a Father's Day memorial for his grave (as stated in the email custom arrangement request, plus multiple subsequent phone calls), a pink bow would not be the optimal choice for my late father. Literally the only difference in my request was adding one red rose. If you honestly feel this is your best work, even though it had to be sent over from the wrong location, even though you sent me an email thanking me for conveying "my feelings" for Lisa (the designated pickup person), even though when I finally got a real photo of the bouquet at the gravesite that I immediately called with my disappointment and sadness and was told "good luck finding a new florist" by your customer service representative...if you stand by that as your absolute best in service, then I have to accept your insincere response. I guess I should have checked the multitude of 1 star reviews since I no longer live in Indiana...seems you've left a slew of disappointed customers in your wake. I know it doesn't mean anything to you to lose my business, but my stepmother, brothers, friends and family who live in Indiana still feel my dad deserved better. Would never recommend. Spoke to Steve himself who was not wearing a mask. He would not put on a mask, was extremely rude but I did get a full refund. He basically said take it or leave it.... I ordered flowers for my Mother's funeral service to be delivered by 9:00 am before the 10:00 - 12:00 service. The flowers had not arrived at 9:15. I called and they told me the flowers were already delivered. A search was conducted by the staff of the church, and there were no flowers. Steves staff kept insisting I was wrong. They finally called the driver, who said he left them outside by an out building. The church has no out buildings. Eventually, they told the driver to go get them and take them to the correct address. The service was 40 minutes into the 2 hours by the time the flowers arrived. The driver did not apologize or even speak. The company will not answer my emails asking for a refund. All of this frustration as I was trying to greet guests at my mother's funeral. I called and they offered to resend more flowers on Valentine's day. Wow this place is awesome! I'm so impressed that they sent me a photo of the flowers as soon as they were made, and they actually look like the picture! I have never ordered from a Florist who does this. I've always wondered why they don't though..I'm usually so disappointed when I order flowers because they end up looking nothing like what I ordered. When I order flowers, I order them because I love the vase and the flowers that are pictured, but when ordering from other florists, it usually looks nothing like the picture, which I do not understand at all.
