I can't recommend this company enough!…read more The Rapid Repair team fixed my dryer, a few weeks ago. As Anthony, my technician and owner of Rapid Repair, was leaving I mentioned that our freezer had stopped making ice and was leaking water both inside and outside. This is when I found out that Anthony's is certified and licensed specifically to repair refrigerators and freezers! We made an appointment and he came back a few days later and saw that the waterline was clogged and the ice maker motor had gone out. He quickly found the parts and came back a few days later to repair our freezer. The repair took about 45-minutes and stated it was a fairly common issue that happens with just wear and tear; nothing serious. He even helped to reset our water line that was pushing on our condenser fan and make a loud noise every so often. In total, we paid $200 that included parts and labor, which I feel is amazing! Anthony is punctual and gets right to work when he arrives. No chitchat, which I greatly appreciate!

Our washer randomly started leaking (heavily) yesterday. I reached out this morning and he has already come to diagnose. Unfortunately, it's more worth it to replace than repair. His fee included the diagnostic and labor, however since there wasn't much labor other than the diagnostic he was very negotiable with a lower rate. I would 100% use him again in the future if we ever have another appliance issue.

On 5/8/26, Ivy asked me if I would update the review based on problem resolution since she offered me a refund. Ivy would like for me to not judge their entire company based on one technician, but the reality is the people you send out are a reflection of your company. Original review begins here: Beware of technician Roman. If you choose to use this company and they want to send out Roman, then you need to request a different technician. This is not the first negative review involving Roman or with a clogged drain hose receiving the same diagnosis. Called this coming to come look at my dishwasher because it wasn't draining. Was impressed I could get same day appointment. Roman arrived timely but spent very little time diagnosing. He opened up the dishwasher and looked inside. Let a run for about 5 minutes and then said it needed a new drain pump and turbidity sensor for $384. He never pulled the dishwasher out to inspect components. I decided to get a second opinion with another company. Turns out the drain hose had a clog. Once that was cleared, the dishwasher drained fine and is working great. No replacement parts needed.

Okay, so I'm not the only one who used this company (guy?) and didn't have my appliance repaired…read more.. We just moved into our new house about 2 months ago, and the dishwasher has been leaking from the front since the beginning. We filed a claim with First American Warranty, who sent out Appliance Superheroes. He replaced a part, it still leaked. He came back out, ordered another part, replaced it, and it still leaked. He came out again, and like Michigan J. Frog, the dishwasher chose not to leak while he was there. To his credit, he did sit through the whole wash cycle. Not a drop while he was there. His final words were, "Just let it run until it dies - then file another claim." Soooo if this dishwasher lasts another 10 years but leaks the entire time, I'm just supposed to live with that? And lo and behold, the next time we ran the dishwasher, it leaked AGAIN (pictures attached). So we reopened the claim. Someone from the warranty company called and requested we send photos, which we did. The photos show a puddle and drips coming directly off of the dishwasher front cover/panel. The warranty rep calls me a day later and says the photos we sent aren't sufficient proof that the leak is still happening, so he told me to get a "second opinion" (on my own dime, of course) who could then send the photos back to the warranty company so they could continue investigating. I asked why they couldn't just send the original contractor back out, and he said, "The contractor is refusing to come back because it didn't leak while he was there." The contractor literally SAID, "It leaks when it wants to." So he's aware that this dishwasher is a POS, but he's instead telling the warranty company that it's not leaking and there's nothing he can do. Who's worse here - the contractor or the warranty company? TL;DR: They came out multiple times to fix a dishwasher leak and it's still not fixed. Don't use Appliance Superheroes, and don't use First American Warranty company. Also I thought this was a company with multiple technicians based on how he talked about it, but it seems like it's just one guy? Edit after reading other reviews: Okay, so I was right. He really is just one guy running his own business, but misleads you to think he works for some company with a bunch of other dudes. What is the purpose of misleading people like this?

After a growing frustration with it, then checking both Next Door and Yelp, I decided to call Ricardo. He was awesome to chat with about the issue. He was willing to drive out to us and check it, and we were willing to pay the service charge. At his suggestion, he had me text him photos, including the model number and serial number. He called me back a few hours later. He had researched the issue and determined original parts are no longer available. (I had researched separately and had come to the same conclusion.) Ricardo added that in his experience, the aftermarket replacement parts are not the same quality and have been problematic. His recommendation was to plan on replacing the refrigerator if we still wanted that capability. No charge for his time. It was a great experience and highly recommend him.
