This place is just awesome. Recommended by a friend years ago, I had some glasses made in 2019 with excellent results. Last week, Specs made a pair for my 8-year-old grandson. Usually, if something is too good to be true it isn't, but in this case it really was true. Here's how it went. I texted Steve the prescription, which he said could be made while I waited. (My grandson had lost his other glasses, so it was important to get new ones ASAP.) Sure enough, we picked out a pair of frames and received the glasses within about 20 minutes. The amazing price was $125. Now imagine the hassle of going to Walmart or somewhere, then having to go back to pick them up, then paying what would surely be a lot more. And yes, he's only open on Wednesday, but for us it was worth every bit the wait (two days.) Cannot recommend these folks highly enough. read more

I dropped my new Raybans and one lens broke. Walked in and Steve replaced both lens while I waited $50. Took 15 min total. He's only open on Wednesday. The lens were not oem Rayban but they are light and poly which I like so far. read more

For all intents and purposes, this shop is no longer in business. Recommended by a friend, I visited this store on a Monday. The door was locked and two hand-lettered signs were taped to it. One read, "Only open Wednesday, 10-3PM." The second sign read, "I will no longer be accept (sic) any new coustomers (sic) If you have not been here before I can't help you!" The first sign renders the hours listed here as invalid. The surly tone of the second sign causes me to question other reviews that gave this business 5 stars. Been coming here for decades and usually Specs for less was always go to place..... If you really wanted some cheap designer eyewear you couldn't beat it. Alas unfortunately like so many other small businesses around the country expect for less have somewhat fallen to the cause of inflation that their prices have went up significantly however nothing beats the personalized care of that you do get. The owner is always usually willing to make deals with you and that's a great bargain however the fact that he's only now open one day a week makes his window of opportunity very limited. That and the fact that you have to bring Your own prescription because they don't have an on board optometrist andThe prices have went up significantly but for personalized care there's you cant beat it. Rude racist old man ... have spent over 800 on lenses and frames I'm not the best with them but I have no problem paying for my vision ... this last visit maybe was the worse.. paid 100$ for new frames soon wearing the glasses I could tell my prescription wasn't in them and he swore it was .. so I went about my week still not being able to see out .. I I recently called back to make a complaint about not having my prescription lenses Mr. Steve begin yelling and cursing screaming at me a loyal customer with no explaining besides I can't help you and from arguing to cursing yelling and threats to beat the sh*t out of me if I was to ever come back to the store ... I don't write reviews and I don't complain but I wouldn't recommend anyone to this rude racist old man ! I'm basically the unluckiest glasses customer, since I have a pretty high and weird prescription, so my glasses are usually hideous price-wise. But I was pleasantly surprised by how well priced this shop was although I'll admit I'm not entirely sure how much glasses usually run in the US. They don't have a ton of frames compared to what I'm used to but given my indecisive nature that might be a good thing. Turn-around on my glasses was fast too, and they were happy to fix my old glasses' missing nose pad while I browsed for my new eyes. The man who helped me was very good about breaking down the whys and hows of my lens pricing so I knew exactly why they cost what they did. He was pretty good about helping me choose a frame, too. Not quite as good at picking a frame for me as my old optical shop, but the lady who ran the shop chose my glasses for over 20 years so she clearly had a historical advantage there. Went to Steve's Specs for Less today with my aunt. Her glasses had broken and she needed them fixed. Steve replaced the frames in no time and offered to make new glasses also for a very reasonable price -- better than even the online stores. Steve is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The store offers more than fair prices and excellent customer service, which can be very rare these days. Will return when I need new glasses, also! Great find in Little Rock! read more

If I could give Specs For Less more than 5 stars, I certainly would! My family has used SFL for years with absolutely nothing but fantastic customer service. On top of having the most inexpensive frames in town, they are more than happy to help us with repairs if needed and always in a timely fashion. They have been nothing but good to my family's Optical needs, even going above and beyong. Their knowledge in Optics is bar-none!
