Usually, if something is too good to be true it isn't, but in this case it really was true. Here's how it went. I texted Steve the prescription, which he said could be made while I waited. (My grandson had lost his other glasses, so it was important to get new ones ASAP.) Sure enough, we picked out a pair of frames and received the glasses within about 20 minutes. The amazing price was $125. Now imagine the hassle of going to Walmart or somewhere, then having to go back to pick them up, then paying what would surely be a lot more. And yes, he's only open on Wednesday, but for us it was worth every bit the wait (two days.) Cannot recommend these folks highly enough.

Sean was the optician that assisted me and he was super pleasant and knowledgeable - I feel like I took mini optician course today with what I learned while selecting my frames. I couldn't decide & ended up purchasing 3 pair (and for a lot less than $700!) I'm still waiting on the call to pick up my glasses now. It has been longer than the 2 hours they quoted me BUT the other place told me 2-3 WEEKS so whether it takes 2 hours or all night, I'll still be happy I got them in a day as opposed to waiting almost a month. Definitely have earned my future business, I'll be back!

I received a call from my doctor in under 48 hours following my call cancelling an appointment and writing the review. He took time to hear my perspective and offered to see me again or refer me to other providers. He also apologized for cancelling our original appointment and explained he had to tend to an emergency. I have a tight schedule currently because I am planning to move to a new town, and made this known; my doctor offered to have me come in for an appointment in under a week to check on my status. When I returned to the clinic, both my doctor and the staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to make sure I was served well. Additionally, my doctor took the time to slowly and clearly explain my condition as well as my treatment options. I am truly impressed with how far the staff went to serve me before I move out of town. I specifically appreciate that everyone on staff prioritized improving communication with me. Thanks everyone at McFarland! Original review: I went to McFarland's location in West Little Rock in November 2016 for a chalazion; I continued to seek treatment through June 2017. I went through two rounds of antibiotics, steroid creams, and other non-prescription suggestions made by the doctor. He also performed surgery on the affected lid. None of this helped; I followed all recommendations to the T. In addition, I regularly would call the office to indicate my concerns that the recommendations were not helping and I was met with dismissiveness and condescension from the nursing staff. My doctor also cancelled an appointment with little warning. I regret going to McFarland. To this day my eyelid is not back to normal.

After waiting 2 weeks, or more I received a mens thick librarian glasses. I am guessing they are the most cheap and plain kind wit fingerprints. Of course the prescription is incorrect and they are not shaded. Not only have I not heard of the brand of glasses but the kid at the office was supposed to have written down all of this and I wasted a long time waiting for the computer to catch up. The staff is also rude. When I called every phone number, no one let me into the office. I stood outside and got no reaction from the staff. I came in because other patients were leaving. When I was let in the dude in charge of handing out my glasses announced what a rude person I am to go inside without calling. So now I didn't only lose a few hours and paid for an appointment but Im stuck with hideous trash for glasses.
