    Funnel Cake

Great place to grab a treat on the boardwalk. They have everything from funnel cakes to orange-aid drinks, all of which will hit the spot. The portions are generous and made fresh. The staff is super friendly and good above and beyond when making your order. Easily the best spot on the boardwalk for any sugar fix you need. Highly recommended!

Great little seasonal food stop to satisfy your cravings for funnel cake, shaved ice, fresh squeezed lemonade or iced tea. Cash only, but prices reasonable. It's a family owned small business, not a big chain. Staff has always been friendly for the past 5 years we have been coming to Bethany Beach.

Steve's Sugar Shack has never failed to satisfy my sweet needs. They have everything from cookies to shaved ice. Best of all, they have freshly squeezed lemonades, orangeades and limeades. Delicious! Their Bethany Beach famous funnel cakes never disappoint. Also, the service is amazing! Everyone there is so sweet and is always working to ensure customer satisfaction. Great management and great establishment! Kudos to the owners!

They have indoor seating and some tables just outside the store front as well. Parking is available in their lot or just along the streets. I had the Backdoor, which was an acai base that came blended with apple juice, kale and spinach and then was topped with banana, strawberry, blueberry, granola, and honey. I thought the size of the bowl was perfect and it came with a good amount of toppings. The acai base was good - creamy, a little sweet, and slightly tart. I could have done without the layer of granola on the bottom of the bowl - I'll opt out of that next time. Service was standard and our bowls and smoothies were ready faster than we expected, which was great. Pablos is a solid option for an acai bowls in Ocean City - I'll be back!

If this place lowered the cost considerably, they might sell some of this stuff. The Buddha, and other statues in my picture, is over $500 just like most of the other large pots sitting outside forever. Come off the price. People will buy. And so on... it will come back around. Inside was really worse. Upon walk in the damp must was a smack in the face. Costs were ridiculous. Even a vegetable brush was $14? I enjoyed winding my way through the maze of goodies. Some of the things that caught my eye were Polish pottery, pretty reusable tote bags, cheeky kitchen gadgets and funny cocktail napkins. They also had sign art, candles, throw blankets, funny socks, adult greeting cards, yard flags and air plants. It's a very eclectic mix of merchandise. The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.

We ordered a hungry man breakfast bowl and breakfast quesadilla. Food was very bland/lacked seasoning. I was charged $2.50 for pre-packaged guacamole and food came with canned salsa as well. The food has the potential to be much better if the pre-packaged ingredients were swapped for fresher options. The pop tarts were great, we tried gluten free lemon and regular cherry. The gluten free pop tarts were in separate packaging and placed on the top rack of the bakery case which is great for minimizing cross contamination. The cherry pop tart (not gluten free) had full cherries in it. Both pastries had some serious weight to them and were quite large. I think the food is a bit overpriced for what you actually get. Pastries are great and I was excited to see gluten free options available!

March 2026 Review for the NEW Fabulous Lounge!…read more Bethany Beach, Ocean View, & Millville has a wonderful NEW coffee lounge and lunch spot! But it's also not so new since it's the same wonderful place we all fell in love with years ago just now bigger. If you want to see how much I love this place, Kristina & Sean, and learn more about this amazing restaurant, plus all they do for the community, skip and read below my review from 2023 for the old location. It's a heartfelt unsolicited freakin novel! But this review is for the NEW LOUNGE space just added. I'm obsessed. Love a cozy living room? How about one that's tucked away almost like a speakeasy? Want fireplace vibes? Fluffy cushions, comfy chairs and couches? Places to put down your mug and put up your feet? Check, check, and check! ALL the checks. Same great food & same great service. My girlfriends and I like to gather monthly in the mornings for coffee to celebrate our birthdays. It's not always easy to find a large enough areas to seat our 8+ group but this lounge is perfect! I sometimes order ahead with the TOAST app so that if there's a line my Latte is ready and paid for. My friend ML is gluten free and swears by Kristina's GF home made pop tarts. The pictures say it all - the vibe is sick! Which is young speak for adorably cozy, comfy, and cool! On a personal note, during the pandemic, I was so anxious to go out, that I counted on Kristina's Kitchen and her kind husband Sean to deliver delicious meals to my door that lasted me a whole week. I've also been a fan of Kristina since 2014, being just a little obsessed with her Body & Soul Wellness Center and Smoothie Shop in Bethany Beach. She, Sean, and their staff, are also just wonderful people. Kristina's Kitchen is tucked away next to Lord's Landscaping, behind Lord's Mercantile, and across the street from the Giant in Millville. Easy to find - hard to give up. I might not order from them every week like I did during COVID, but they have a special place in my heart and are at the top of my Recommended List for anyone who is looking for wholesome and delicious delights here at the beach.
