Came here after hearing it's the best pizza in Seattle! It was very good NYC style pizza and my father-in-law, a New York native, said they got the crust and sauce just right! We had the Normie Macdonald and I think that was just a little bit too busy for me. Not my fave toppings, but that's what everyone raves about, so we had to try it. In the future, I think I'd try just the pepperoni. Very small place, if you want to eat in the restaurant, I'd recommend going during not dinner hours. read more

I'm going to start with the Normie McDonald is a 5, I bought a slice of pepperoni which was good but several other places are comparable. The Normie Macdonald has different meat gets a drizzle of a Spicey honey and some white cheese. The flavors when all mixed together you get a unique yummy flavor that I have to say is definitely a 5. I gave for stars because my total cost for a 16 inch pizza with honey and white cheese + 1 slice of pepperoni pizza was $52 It was yummy but the price. ( Yikes ). The store font was inviting and the place was clean and has a small area to eat in but it's obvious that most pizzas are sold to go. The people were friendly but had trouble getting the cash register/visa machine to work correctly waited 5 min while my whole pizza was getting cold. The store has tons of personality and the staff was nice! Their single serve slices are huge and the pizza tasted great! I just wished they had a combo single slice available. They mainly only had pepperoni by the single slice when I went in so I'm sure they probably have more of a variety usually but I only tried the pepperoni. I will be coming back for sure. read more

Loved this pizza. Ordered a pie for pick up online which was super easy. We arrived in time to pick up a steaming hot box of pizza. We ordered the mushroom pizza which had a perfect balance of flavours with the garlic and bite of Gorgonzola. We ate this so fast! The crust was thin and crispy. Pizza was not too oily. Will be back to try more from the menu or just grab a slice! The spot itself has some tables indoors as well as an outdoor seating area, weather permitting. Okay, Stevie's is worth the hype and the trip. Walk-up counter spot dishing up New York style pizza with a real tasty sourdough crust, served either as a 16" or by the slice. They don't do half-and-half pizzas, so the three of us ordered two full pies to share, and one of us ordered a slice of the Normie. The cheese pizza (tomato base, mozz, grana) was fine but honestly a little too basic for me ($25). I'm not sure if they discourage building your own pie or if it just worked out to be less expensive for them to give us our toppings as sides, but our second pizza we added burrata and hot honey (basically the Normie but without the meat). That was delicious, but I would have preferred they put the toppings on our pizza for us. I'm tempted to dock a star for that but honestly it was legit delicious so I'll leave it be. I would 100% come back here or to their Beacon Hill location. The only reason we drove all the way down to Burien was for the pet friendly patio seating option which wasn't available at Beacon Hill the day we were going. I think i just found my new favorite pizza in SEA! I stopped by for a late lunch and ordered a slice of the Normie McDonald. (I love places that offer pizza slices for a quick lunch!) It's a pretty generous slice that they toast and then top with burrata and drizzle with hot honey. It comes with coppa and mozz. It was DIVINE. The crust was amazing. Each bite with the burrata was so good. The honey gave it this nice sweetness that paired well with all the savory flavors. The place is small - there are two tables that can seat four comfortably and also some bar seating. It's located in Olde Burien so parking is just street parking. And the staff here, they are SO NICE and WELCOMING. I love everything about this place and can't wait to come back for another slice of the most delicious pizza. read more

Needed a piece of pie!! Walked in to a small hole-in-a-wall, and to our surprise, the presentation of the sliced pizza in the glass case looked delicious. I had the special for $6, don't know the name of the pie, but it was a white sauce and had picketed jalapeños. The guy behind the counter warmed the pizza up and brought it to my table. Okay, not great. Where's the cheese?! Stand outs: 1) Normie MacDonald - Messy, but tasty. Crunchy crust, creamy burrata, salty coppa, and sweet heat honey. This pizza is definitely worth trying! 2) Classic Mushroom - mushroom, roasted garlic, & red onion - a great mix of classic flavors rolled into one. Everything else is... bad and overpriced. Almost no cheese on any of the slices, including the cheese! Mouthfuls of bread and tomato sauce with nothing else! Bleh! Outer crust was charred black and inedible. Love the pizza at Stevie's. Originally from Brooklyn, I've only found a few pizza joints in Seattle that remind me of NYC pizza. For me, it's all in the tomato sauce and crust and Stevie's gets them both right. I generally stick to the plain cheese pizza and it's been consistently delicious every time I visit. Walking down the street, you can't miss the big pizza sign over this awesome 80s and 90s throwback. Bright colors and all sorts of fun items adorn the walls. In terms of the pizza, it is as wonderful as the fun decor. The New York style pizza is unique with a nostalgic feel. The Normie Macdonald is a particular standout. Pepperoni with a big chunk of burrata on top and slathered in hot honey is an absolutely mouthwatering combo. The other pies also standout. Pepperoni - delicious, cheese - delicious, sausage - simply superb. The crust is chewy and thin, perfect for folding and the house made sauce brings it to another level. Stevie's is a victim of its own success. And a statement about how lacking the area is for a decent margarita style pizza (their's is nice). The problem is every time we've attempted to dine here, we step in and every table is full. Usually of people waiting for their pizza. A line with several people looking to either place orders, pick up pizzas or ask the staff how things are supposed to actually work here. Staff has been very inattentive. We just turn around and leave. Life is too short. So finally had the pizza from a friend who got takeaway. A basic cheese and basil pie. It was OK. Definitely superior to most other local shops. Pretty much on par with a Tutta Bella pizza. But not at all worth the wait and hassle. Alas I do have a 1000f pizza oven and 10 year old starter at home. read more

There's so much to love about this place. I'm a pizza snob having grown up just outside Philadelphia and this place satisfies. The pizza is pretty tasty(sourdough crust is great), the space is comfortable, the staff are really sweet and the prices are decent. There are cheese , pepperoni and slice of the day if you just want slices. Drinks are cans/bottles from a cooler( I think I saw a couple bottles of wine in there). They also have a couple old video games in there (Ms Pac-Man and Pole Position). I wanted to hang out a while after I ate my slice but there isn't much seating and I wanted to make room for other patrons. They do have a few outside tables but today was cold and rainy. Their pizzas are delicious and their house made ice cream and sorbet are super tasty. Their hot honey is really good too. Had a wonderful kick to it and it pairs well with the pizzas. Parking around the area can be tricky when it's busy. But there are enough people coming and going that you'll find a spot. Tried the Normie MacDonald from the Clock-Out lounge location - you really can't go wrong with burrata on pizza. Had it twice and first time, there was the perfect amount of honey on top (slightly sweet to offset the salty), second time, my pizza was drenched in honey and not as pleasant to eat as it dripped down with each bite. Slices here are pretty big which makes up for the slice being close to $10 after tax and tip. Crust could be a little more chewy, but I love how thin and crispy it is. Great add to the neighborhood. They really got the ambiance of an 80s NYC pizza parlor down pat. Ms. Pac-Man in the corner. Fine Young Cannibals on the playlist. Oh yeah, the pizza is pretty great as well. I've been longing for a pizza spot where I could get a quick slice in Downtown Burien and thankfully Steve's Famous opened just a short distance from me. I've heard great things about their pizza and was super anxious to try them out. I stopped by on Friday night and they had a line which I knew was a great sign. There was variety of selections (red/white) but I went with my favorite pepperoni. I couldn't wait until I got home to eat my slice so I dove in and it was delicious. A bit on the salty side but the sourdough crust is absolutely amazing and downright addicting. I also love the generous amounts of cheese and meats. I definitely will be ordering more pizza. The overall space is great with a lot of vintage/old school decor and It gives a real neighborhood vibe. They also have a great wine and beer selection for purchase. I was in the downtown Burien area drinking some wine next door and checked out Steve's tonight. I had a hankering for some pizza and heard this was good place for pizza. The ambiance is more of carry-out than sit in, but they have a few tables and some outside tables so it's more than feasible to eat here or carry-out. Very casual and great place to take the kids as a few video games and they have some home made ice cream. The pizza slices looks exactly like what you'd get at PCC for $3.99, but a bit saltier and tastier for $8.00 a slice. If price isn't an option for you, this is great for a simple slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza; nothing complex and as I said the kids would love it. read more
