Tried the veggie pesto pizza it was ok. We are vegetarian and ordered the veggie fettuccine but they added some chicken to it and I had to throw the whole thing out. Baklava was decent. There isn't much of a service or Ambience to talk about I don't like leaving a 'not so great review' but I am pissed at having to waste food :( read more

Really nice people, and solid pizza for a neighborhood pie shop. It's mostly for takeout and delivery. Pulcinella down the street has better crust and sauce, but they also have smaller and more expensive pizza. I like supporting Paranormal. read more

I have heard good things about Paranormal Pie for a while now and was finally in the area so I had to pop by. They did not disappoint! They offer a variety of classic pies as well as Greek/Lebanese inspired pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. I asked for recommendations and the owner suggested the House Pizza as well as their pesto based pizzas. I will have to return to try more items next time! read more

This is my first time eating at this restaurant. I came in and asked the nice lady upfront what she would recommend. She said everything was delicious. Obviously I couldn't order everything , so, I ordered the deep dish pizza with meat and vegetable. Maybe they weren't on their game when I visited on Saturday, but this was far from the best pizza I've ever had. The only thing paranormal about is was that it was so undercooked, it could have been slimer from Ghostbusters. I know pizza shops are trying to push out pies as fast as possible, but the trend of undercooked pizza really sucks. read more

In my opinion, this looked like a drug front run by mafia, with a side of illegal bird selling. No kidding there was a cage of exotic birds in the lobby. Neither of the employees we saw were wearing masks, which was concerning as they were very old and likely at risk of COVID. Very surprised to see an "Excellent" food safety rating in the window. Friend says it's better than dominoes though personally I must disagree. This pizza was subpar, very greasy, and a little pricy. Also it was cut by a knife which I'm very sure they would've used on me if I was not accompanied by my young sister and male friend. Always like to try little hole in the wall restaurants when I get the chance. Sometimes I score sometimes I fail. This was definitely not a score. Not in a great location, might even say a little sketchy. Would not go there at night. Inside was not bad, a little messy but ok Now to the food. We ordered 5 salads (caesars with chicken and the Greek with chicken) along with a medium pepperoni pizza to go. I'll start with the salads, prices were good but the chicken is definitely processed and bland. Did not see any Parmesan cheese in the salads and they forgot the dressing for one of them so basically chicken and lettuce. The greek salad was decent though. The pizza was of the same quality of day a Dominos except dominoes crust is better. All in all a 3 star for me read more

I really wanted to like this place but it didn't meet my not-that-high expectations. We've ordered deep dish meet pizza that was supposed to have bolognese sauce (aka ground beef plus some kind of tomato sauce) but it had pepperoni and sausage inside to our surprise. I tried this shop as I'm new to the area and they're closest to my new place. Was really hoping to get lucky and to live really close to a good pizza store. Sadly, it didn't work out that way. It was bad enough that I've warned new folks to my building to look elsewhere for decent pizza. I can't even think of anything nice to say. The food was cold, wasn't able to eat it even after rewarming. Just a bit further down the road you'll find Pizzeria Pulcinella so spend your $$ there instead. read more

This pizza is the best in the Rainier Valley neighborhood. We always get half double Pepperoni and half Hawaiian. The Pepperoni side always reminds us of NYC pizza. Fold it in half and enjoy every bite! read more

I didn't especially like this place. I tried to order it through the app for delivery but could never get it to recognize the address I was at. I called and had to repeat my address and order three times before the person got it right. When it was delivered, it actually wasn't right - I'd ordered the meat lover's pizza and got one with just sausage and pepperoni. It tasted meh. I liked it ok, wasn't bad, just had way better. For the price I suppose it was fine. Best advise is to avoid delivery, go in person and inspect everything you get before you leave to make sure it's what you ordered. read more

My friend and I ordered the meat lovers, large during their happy hour! (11am-3pm) I was feeling pretty hyped from the pictures online. We were greeted by, I think the owner, and ordered our pizza. Surprisingly, it was finished baking within less than 10 mins! Took it home and ate there. So... the pizza itself was OK, but like others have said, souless. It's a meat lovers pizza but the meat toppings were scarce to say the least. Bacon was haphazardly sprinkled in the middle of the pizza. Just the middle. The crust and the other meat toppings had no character, just plain old jane wholesale pepperoni and mozza. Anyways, I don't think I'd be back especially for the price that I paid for it (even though it was happy hour). read more

This place is right by our house and we have ordered from them many times. The food isn't amazing but it is good and generally easy. But tonight's order really capped off why I will no longer be supporting this poorly organized local biz. Sure, food has been late, food has been fully burnt but they are local! I have wanted to support them.... So tonight- they gave our order to some random "driver" and made zero effort to fix the situation or remake our order. Something about not being sure that they will have another driver to deliver our food, etc. so we canceled. I mean, mistakes happen but I couldn't believe that there was no apology or effort to get the food out to us as soon as possible. I'm blown away and sad. read more

Edit: after ordering from them a few more times, and a few more items, I'm struggling to decide whether or not to order from them again. The Manaish pizza that I got was cold and hard by the time it got to me--with a plastic looking sheen of translucent cheese on top of cold oil. The spice blend was absolutely spot on though, so I cried a little bit as I tried to imagine how amazing this could have been. The 2nd deep dish was cold, soggy, and greasy too. WTF, guys! The last time I ordered from this place, they forgot the pepperoni on my pizza. This time the pizza was fine. The babaganoush came with four pieces of cold pita. The Cesar salad came with no dressing. I called the restaurant and was hung up on. I called back, he said what do you want I'm busy. I have now been on hold with GrubHub for 40+ minutes. I'm not happy with the restaurant nor the customer service at GrubHub. I will not be ordering from here again. If the supervisor at GrubHub doesn't satisfy, I will no longer order from them either. I will update this review with the outcome of GrubHub. Don't waste your money on a place that hangs up on a customer. Their food isn't even great, it's only ordered out of convience. Never again. Some of the specialty items has the potential for greatness, there was none of that this meal. Generally lacking soul or skill in preparation. Phoned-in a take out order, and service was prompt (20min) with boxes waiting dutifully on the counter when we arrived. Twisty Bread - Was in fact bread with a twist, but this was not enough to distract from the lifeless canned sauce and plain frozen crust. Hard-pass! Chicken Wings (Garlic Parmesan) - Flavor-wise something might be there, but way-way underdone and straight from a freezer bag. After an additional 20min in the oven, these achieved an unremarkable status. Barbeque Chicken Pizza - Like a good first attempt at making a pizza, having never tasted pizza, or had one ever described before. But it's bread, tomato sauce, and cheese. So, pretty tough to ruin entirely without purposefully trying to do so. None of the ingredients showed any glimmer of stardom, however. If it still there this fall, I will give it other menu items a chance at redemption. read more

I wanted to give this place a try and boy I was wrong! I don't write bad reviews but the service was even more horrible then the food and I have to let my fellow yelpers know. This place got my order wrong and he would not fix it. I paid a lot of money for one pizza, which would have been fine BUT he got my order wrong. Not only was he rude about it, he wouldn't do anything either. This place does not appreciate paying customers. The pizza itself was only ok at best, barely edible and just horribly mediocre for the price. The crust had a nice crispiness but the bottom of the pizza was engulfed in black char. The toppings were nothing special, the meats are the same you find on frozen pizzas. The marinara sauce on the pizza was put on so sparingly I couldn't really get a good taste of it. I've honestly had better frozen pizza for 5 times less than what I paid for this place. Paranormal pie... I don't thinks so... more like normal pie with bad customer service. read more

Unfortunately I can't speak too much on the actual establishment or service since we door dashed, but I can definitely talk about the food! I was feeling a bit unorthodox (most likely the sleep deprivation) and opted for the salmon poke nachos for my first time here. Priced at nearly $19, I was honestly pleasantly surprised with the amount of food I got! Normally with nachos, you're always gonna end up with a layer of chips at the bottom without any sauce or toppings -- I can't say I had this experience with the poke nachos here! There was ample fish, sauce, and other toppings. I never felt like I had a dry bite. The salmon was great quality as well, the pieces felt fresh and buttery, and there was a pretty good quantity for what you ordered. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes in the future!

The chicken was satisfyingly sweet, savory, and crispy. The rice was a tad mushy, and the mac salad was valid. The clam chowder came loaded with clams and bacon, it was really yummy and had a seafood-esque flavor to the chowder. I was craving clam chowder this entire Seattle trip, and I was so excited that this was my final pit stop and that it did not disappoint. Next time I'll have to try this place and see if they really do poke to the max!
