Super yummy food, we got the brisket Mac and cheese and the gumbo. It was fire! I would definitely recommend eating here anytime you pass by the food truck.

Great food, best BBQ this side of St Louis. Good people. If you know where the truck is then why aren't you there.

Fried chicken was crispy, greens were bomb, and LOVED the little corn cakes with syrup on the side. Delicious.

The brisket burnt ends were on point--easily the best I've had. The smoked clam chowder was also outstanding, and honestly the best clam chowder I've come across anywhere. We went back the next day, but the burnt ends and chowder are only served on certain days. I ended up getting the fried okra and a brisket sandwich. The okra was cooked perfectly, and the brisket sandwich was so tender it didn't even need a knife. Pro tip: ask for your brisket "extra juicy." The staff was great. Mary brought us their house-made honey mustard, and it was incredible--we ended up dipping both our fries and okra in it. One of the cooks even came out to talk with us, which was a nice touch. Hands down, some of the best brisket I've had. Definitely worth checking out if you're in town.

Just the perfect amount of BBQ sauce, they offer additional sauce on the side but I didn't feel it was needed. My husband had their BBQ chicken club w/mac & cheese-he finished every last bite. The place was very clean, even the bathrooms. There's also easy access in/out back onto 11th St. They advertise a Sunday Buffet at their Springfield location.

Even the sides (I have mac and cheese and lime rice) were really good. And the sauces were fantastic. I ordered delivery from Bill & Tim's tonight and was incredibly disappointed. One major issue was…read morethat only half of my order arrived. One bag had my name on it, the other had someone else's name on it. This could have been the fault of the driver or the restaurant, both should have been more vigilant. I ordered a 2-meat plate for myself with mac and cheese and onion rings as the side. My partner got the BBQ chicken sandwich with truffle fries and two pieces of Texas toast. Only my food arrived, split across two bags (one of which didn't even have my name on it). My partner's food was completely missing and in its place were sweet potato fries. He had to order something else and wait for it to come. The sweet potato fries were cold and mushy and didn't have much flavor. My plate was packed in the bag vertically so that all of the grease was leaking out into the bag while it was en route. This meant that the entire container, inside and out, was absolutely covered in grease. I could not touch any part of my meal without getting covered in a thick layer of grease. You might think with all that mess that there wouldn't be any grease left for the food, but you'd be wrong! All of my food was very greasy. The mac and cheese was cold and congealed, like it had been sitting all day. The chicken was alright, but greasy. The brisket was shredded (who shreds brisket????) and VERY greasy. The Texas toast was the greasiest of them all. Every bite I took had a significant amount of grease squishing out into my mouth. It was truly foul. The onion rings were also greasy but that is a bit more forgivable since they are fried. I was really looking forward to a nice BBQ dinner at home after a long, tiring day. Alas, I'm left with a greasy life and a headache. Unless you want health issues from all the grease, skip this place and try a different local BBQ joint.

As a local, it truly breaks my heart to write this review. I always want to support our…read moreneighborhood businesses, but I have to be honest about my recent breakfast experience here. The Atmosphere I'll start with the positives: the decor is absolutely awesome. As a discophile, I spent half my time admiring the vinyls lining the walls. The model aircraft suspended from the ceiling and the upside-down table add a unique, cool character to the place that you just don't find elsewhere. Visually, it's a 5-star experience.. The Food & Drink Unfortunately, the meal itself was a different story. The Coffee: I'm a black coffee purist, but this was beyond horrible. It tasted completely "burnt"--to the point where I actually had to add sugar just to make it drinkable. Breakfast Burrito: This was, quite frankly, uneatable. I'm not sure if it was the black beans, the eggs, or something else in the mix, but the flavor was horribly off. Hash Browns: They were completely flavorless and added nothing to the plate. Jalapeños: I'm a huge fan of sauces and peppers, but somehow even the side of jalapeños was bad. On a smaller bright note, the English muffin was good (though it's hard to ruin one of those), and the water tasted great. I honestly can't recommend the water enough, which is a strange thing to say about a diner visit. Final Verdict I cannot recommend this spot for breakfast in good conscience. I hope I get the chance to come back and try their dinner menu to see if it's an improvement, but for now, the great decor just isn't enough to make up for the kitchen's performance.
