Absolutely amazing food!! Chef Sai was extremely welcoming and kind, and the vibe of the space is cozy and fun. We had the Sumo's Double Barrel dog, Angry dog, Sumowich, fried chicken with sweet and spicy/angry garlic bee/sumo sauce, Beef n Cup, and two fruit refreshers (which seem to rotate, we had lemon/plum and melon and both were delicious). Everything was fantastic. Best wings I've had in town, and the only spot I know of doing Korean street food (especially the dogs) - and they're doing it very well. Update: I went on September 8th at 410pm Little shop on the strip near the college. When I walked in the cashier was talking to his friends and I was awkwardly ordering while they were still chatting. Decided to do create your own with beef hot dog panko and cheddar dusting. It took about 10 mins to get my corndog which was kind of surprising as it was just me and a couple waiting for our food. They did give me a free soda cup which was nice. The cheddar taste wasn't too overwhelming and well flavored. The breading seemed a little undercooked which got me later in the night. Later in the evening I suddenly didn't feel so great. I was up all night until 3am with horrible pain and symptoms of food poisoning. The corndog was the only thing I ate as I didn't feel that great afterwards and thought it would wear off by dinner time but it didn't. While it tasted alright, I wouldn't want to risk it again since I felt so ill afterwards. read more

Both were fantastic The wings were perfectly seasoned(sweet, garlicky, spicy, etc.,). The corn dog's diameter was so huge, I struggled to get a bit on it. Hate to hate but also ewww... I placed my order of 1 corndog and it took about 20 mins. Kinda long for one item but that's not the complaint. I was super grossed out when the guy that took the orders (person before and after me all items were made together) finished taking the orders and walked back without washing his hands, put one glove on and began making the dogs with both hands. Like fully using both hands to wrap the dough and coat with panko. Idk what the kitchen conditions are and I'm not an inspector but the least one could do is wash their hands when switching from taking orders at the front where money is handled and going back and putting hand into direct food. read more

I really the enjoy the food here! It's one of the two places I regularly eat at as I work at the UO. My kid loves it too, and we've never had any issues with food quality or safety. The service is always great; friendly, welcoming, and they remember their customers. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the food to come out, but honestly, that adds to the charm of a local spot. Even when they're busy, I've never waited more then ten minutes (Unless I get caught up chatting with the owners, haha). My go-to order is the 10 winds with Garlic breath, and they're consistently delicious. They always remember me, which makes the experience even better. We need more local places like this that truly care about their customers, rather then big chains. I highly recommend giving them a shot! read more

This was my first visit, so I was pleasantly surprised by the Korean corn dog. I also tried the wings- delicious! My friend had grilled chicken sandwich and waffle fries. We finished off with the funnel fries, literally everything was tasty. She was so patient with us and explained the menu to us. She makes all the sauces in house. We were in town for graduation and saw this cool looking dog shop. Parking is kinda weird but you'll find a spot. It was pretty empty inside but there isn't too much action in this town compared to other college surrounding streets. The food took kinda longer than we expected but we weren't in a rush. The staff was really nice, friendly and patient while we took time to figure out our order. We got a bumpy dog that was really good, especially the hot dog. I also got an OG that I didn't fully read the description for. It said they got off the ground with the OG so I said lemme try it. The mozzarella and dog were really tasty but what threw me off was the sugar on the outside.. something different and not necessarily a deal breaker but it didn't make the dog better.. We went back the next day to try some other options, specifically to help out a small business but they opened later than the signs suggested. We were heading back to the long road home and didn't have much time to waste so we went somewhere else in the area. Very unfortunate because the whole family wanted to test this place out. Oh well.. maybe another time, even though I don't have any more friends or relatives in town anymore lol. read more

Cluckin Dog offers Korean Fried Chicken and Korean dogs near campus. They have pretty late hours as well. Space is small, but the food is also easy to take to go. They have their own spins on the sauces for the wings. The wings themselves are pretty large compared to a lot of places. read more

Best wings in forever. They were very juicy and full of meat but then all of the sauce was nice and crispy on the outside The Korean dogs were not greasy, and all of the sauces were very tasty. Good hotdogs inside in the mozzarella was melted, but not over boiling hot. The staff is very friendly, and I didn't take long at all to get the food. Noticed Cluckin Dog on my way up Alder street today and stopped to check it out. After a conversation with the owner and staff I tried an OG Korean Dog. Ingredients were all awesome--from the traditional Korean mochi style batter, down to the all beef hot dog and gooey mozzarella inside. A customer who was in line with me called it Soul Food. I agree but i'd call it Soul Food, reinvented. An awesome iteration of an all American classic with the newly popularized Korean twist. If you're local, get it while it's hot! read more

Had to check out this quaint new shop since I have been craving Korean Corn Dogs since it's right down the street from where I work. The brother and sister team were super helpful and offered a free sample of the Korean Chicken Wings while I waited for my Custom Angry Dog. There were a few large tables inside, so I snagged a seat and waited maybe 5 minutes for the wings to come out, with the corn dog coming out shortly after. The wings were perfectly crispy with a light Asian batter and had the perfect amount of sauce on them. The size of the wing was notable, they were definitely larger than other wing shops for sure. I decided to add half mozz in the Angry Dog, which came with a ramen coating, rolled in hot Cheeto dust, and Mayo and sriracha on top. This dog was HUGE and INSANE. The mozz was perfectly melted inside and the ramen added a really nice texture I wasn't expecting. I can't wait to try the other options read more

My dog was cheese and a beef hot dog next to eachother in a delicious breading with the crunchiest outer layer of panko. We had to leave early cuz our toddler had a meltdown, but wanted to stay.
