First time, with friends who had been before. 5 adults and 1 picky teenager. Didn't really understand how the menu worked, but positive I did not want to spend over $30 a plate for all you can eat. Decided to get a chicken grill plate, pork belly grill plate, soup for the teenager and an appetizer. One of our friends wanted all you can eat, but was told they couldn't order that unless everyone did. So they ordered some kind of egg souffle, extra rice and we shared. They brought the meat and five of the tiniest servings of sides. About 10 pieces of sliced radish, à few bean sprouts, 6 to eight small pieces of potato.... And left us totally alone. I had to get up from the table to go ask for a fork. (They didn't give us eating utensils other than before the food came they asked us chop sticks or spoon or fork. Since we had not had the food before, we guessed.) The teenager, who lives on Ramen noodles, did not like the soup. The corn and cheese appetizer was tasty. The meats were ok. But we had these tiny, maybe 5 inch plates, where there was not even room to make a lettuce wrap. And the servers walked by time and again without ever asking how we were doing. They came and turned off the fire before we were done cooking the meat. We finally got someone's attention and got it turned back on and did ask for another serving of sides. With the 18% gratuity that was noted on every page of the menu, the bill was over $100. I was shocked! At the prices in general, the lack of service and explanation, the meager amount of food and the total price. Do not waste your time. You would be better off going to a Mongolian Grill. read more

I had them for the first time, and they are amazing! The service was great and always checking in, the food came fast, and it wasn't loud at all. Four Plus 3 stands out since they give you a very authentic experience, not to mention that all of the food was fresh as well! Definitely give this place a try if you're in town for it, my only regret is just not coming here sooner. This location was clean and has its own parking area. The food is seasoned when you place your order, so anything that says marinaded on the menu, it is not. The marinade is placed on the type of meat you order right after you order it. The service, well we had the best service, however, she was the only one working. So, needless to say, she tried her best to attend to everyone in the restaurant. She was very quick and did not sacrifice any professionalism. The other two employees, socialized and didn't really seem to help her. The quality of food was not bad at all. Have I had better? Yes! This is the best Korean bbq in Eugene!!! And so far my favorite in Oregon but I haven't tried them all. The workers are very attentive and you do not need to try hard to wave them down, they remember what you asked for and bring it in a timely matter. The meat tastes quite fresh and you can taste the difference. The sauces are yummy and they give you ssamjang without having to ask. They give you lettuce wraps and a good amount of them. Our favorite K BBQ place! Great seating and very kind helpful employees. The lamb is my absolute favorite. Lots of fun decor to look at and clean restrooms! They have a couple different all you can eat packages, as well as sides and individual entrees and single order meats for BBQ. The all you can eat package also comes with sides and dipping sauces. They charged us extra for having only 5 people at our table but did not tell us beforehand, and only let us split the bill 4 ways. I had a great experience trying Four Plus 3 Korean BBQ for the first time tonight! I called in an order for takeout and only waited a couple minutes for it once I got there. Employees were super friendly and attentive when I arrived. My meal ended up being 18$ but the portion was huge and it came with some delicious banchan which was a nice touch. The jajangmyeon was doused in black bean sauce and the noodles had the perfect amount of chew to them. Not to mention the beautiful presentation of it which I really appreciated. The takeout container it came in was sturdy unlike some I've gotten at other restaurants which don't hold up, and microwave safe (it said on the bottom) which is great for reheating leftovers. Overall, I can't speak on the actual k bbq sit down experience here but I would absolutely recommend choosing this spot next time you want to order takeout. They are on Grubhub and I believe some other food delivery services as well! read more

As a vegetarian, when you see a sign with a pig wearing an "eat me!" smile, you usually avoid the place. But as a result, I missed out on this DELICIOUS Korean food for way too long. They have plenty of vegetarian options, if not tons, including soybean paste stew, tofu bi bim bap, etc. and all with great homemade banchan. The radish pickle was especially addictive. Delicious sauce on the bi bim bap. Stew was full of good flavor. Good kimchi. All ingredients fresh and well prepared. There's enough to try here that I'll definitely be back to sample more of the menu. Having ordered takeout, I can't comment on service, etc. This place seems legit. There was no wait at 7pm for a table on Tuesday. $34 per person for the option with the most meat choices. Everything was very good. The meat seemed very fresh and was delicious. Our overall thought is that the meat was higher quality here, but there was less variety in the sides and it was a little more expensive. It was a great experience though and we will be back. So we called ahead and asked for wait time. Once we arrived they already had us set to get the next opening for the big table. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They were packed that night and there was a short wait as they prepared every detail of your feast. I e didn't mind the wait as we knew what we wanted and were ready to order. My father and I were in-town at Fiddler's Green purchasing a new set of golf clubs, we stopped by for dinner. We Washingtonians are under the rule of Supreme leader Governor Jay Inslee and dining in is a BIG NO NO. In defiance of our horse's ass Governor we ordered the Pork Belly + Beef Brisket for $19.99 during our temporary visit in Eugene. Interesting thing is the non-buffet menu here ranges $15-30, between two people the $19.99 buffet speacial was a no brainer. Staff was very attentive and they actually had fresh lettice leaves to wrap pork belly, soy bean paste and rice. These folks surpassed my expectation of my definition of a Korean BBQ Buffet joint.
