So happy I stopped here to check things out. I'm a huge fan of wholesale clubs as you get such a…read morebetter deal buying in bulk vs small portions at regular grocery stores. Suns is pretty unique from your Costco and Sam's as they have a larger variety of unique seafoods. They are the only place in Houston I can find raw chicken nuggets that you have to cook fully. This means it tastes much better with less of those preprocessed ingredients. I go here exclusively for my snow crabs and beef fajitas. The quality is off the charts and the size of the snow crabs are massive compared to the tiny ones at your local grocery store. I also find some excellent authentic Asian ingredients and it's always so convenient to pop in and out of there really quickly. What I dislike about it however is their online shopping is non-existent. Their web site isn't helpful at all so don't think you can go there to browse anything. You have to go there to see what they offer. You also don't have to commit to a yearly membership. You can pay like $5 for a daily membership and buy anything in the store you want in that one trip. Save and Prosper!

I felt like walking into an oversized warehouse with double width driveways. I only went through a few aisles, chilling. Majority of stuff are still in boxes. I can only assume if you come shop here frequently, you know what are in there. Price tags are a little confusing. I'm not even gonna go there because I am a casual shopper. Since I don't own or operate a food service, those merchandise won't attract my attention. The only thing I could consider buying is stuff in smaller quantities. Believe or not, I actually bought a membership card for those occasional shopping trips when I really need stuff for the mass. So, I would come back on a long journey here, if I return to North Golden Sun Plaza one of these days.

Today, one of the employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. The picture I attached is how I was dressed today and what I look like. And like I said, I have been going there for years and never have I had my basket taken away.

Most of the items here are targeted for women along with kids and they do have a great selection of stores with variety in the back. Two levels of shopping but a lot of the main stuff is on the first floor and for guys, you can actually find some cool things especially when you go to the custom T-shirts or if you're looking for stuff that ranges from watches, perfume, sunglasses, or any of the other knick-knacks. If it's clothing for men it's probably going to be custom embroidered shirts or the ones with the dazzle but one thing for sure, you will get your big jewelry on here if you want, but an elegant way. Whether you're looking for sorority-fraternity, girlfriend theme shirts or a party shirt with a statement, this could be your place as I managed to get a few custom print shirts for just under $20. I picked out my design and the color of shirt and the location of where I wanted it and I am definitely happy with the quality of everything. A lot of the stuff on the 2nd floor was closed when we came and after about 30-40 minutes it all looked the same. Would like the see the stores shake it up a bit and be different but I get it and knew what to expect.

Great selection of cute gifts for brides , religious themed items and gifts for men who may already have everything. A few sale items . Expect to pay full price but definitely worth a browse. The moment we walked in, the staff began following us around like we were about to steal something... It wasn't subtle, and it definitely wasn't welcoming. We came specifically to shop for Jellycats. While my daughter was picking one out, my 2 year old accidentally knocked over a $15 trinket that was placed right next to the toys. It broke. I immediately apologized and offered to pay for the accident, but the old woman maybe manager/owner just turned her back and walked off without saying a word. No professionalism, no acknowledgment. Still, we made a purchase, about $50 for Jellycat and a small toy. The store tries hard to give off an upscale, curated vibe, but the service is pure snooty attitude and fake class. We're in town from Rockwall, Texas the smallest and wealthiest county in the state, about 20 minutes from Dallas, fortunately we don't need to steal outdated trinkets. The fake-classy attitude here is laughable. snooty staff, zero warmth, and absolutely no sense of how to treat customers. If you're expecting grace, charm, or even basic decency, keep looking.
