If you like honey, this place is heaven. there are rows of different flavors you can sample, from the usual ones to some pretty wild infused ones. I was literally trying everything, from fruity and floral to some bold, unique flavors, before finally picking a few favorites to bring home. They don't just have honey, either. They sell small batch syrups, including this apple tree sap syrup that tastes super fresh and crisp. I had to grab a bottle. The whole place has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff really knows their stuff, so whether you just want to browse or taste your way through everything, it's a good time. At Sticky Situations you will find honey, so many creative variations of honey. Every single flavor can be sampled, no wonder this store is always so sticky with customers. The employees are friendly and are ready to answer any questions. Just to name a few flavors, they have Lemon honey, cinnamon honey, raspberry honey, chocolate honey, even avocado honey. The variety of berry honey is like shopping at the grocery store, for blackberries, cranberries and strawberries. All of those are at Sticky Situations in their honey suits! So much honey to choose from. This place was a treat to visit. So many tasting tables throughout the store. They have so many varieties of honey and you can sample all of them! The staff at the store was knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't buy any honey but we will when we come back next time. We did by the apple syrup tho. We use it on our pancakes on the weekends. It was pleasantly sweet and different from other syrups I have tried. I remember trying the garlic butter honey. It was really good and I for sure will have that one in my cart next time around. 5/21/24: A very "sweet experience" with my honey at Sticky Situations. Outside, the Artisan Syrup and Honey "Tasting Room" sign drew us into the shop. We were about to sample an unexpected large variety of honey. At least 10 or more tables were set up with approx. four different honeys p/t to sample. The entire staff was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable about all the flavors. The entire experience was like sampling wine flights. In addition, the shop sells a variety of oil, vinegar and tea. The Peppermint , Lavender & Anisette honey came back home to Jersey. Prices- 4 oz: 8.95 & 8 oz 14.95. Parking is plentiful in the Mistik Village Parking lot. Looking forward to my next visit to sample their other products. read more

Last time I visited Sticky Situations, I purchased Sleepwell tea for my family member who has trouble sleeping. She said the tea really helped her sleep and wanted some more. The ingredients are green tea, chamomile, ashwagandha, lavender, and bee pollen so definitely very calming. I built my own 3 pack with 2 Sleepwell teas and 1 8oz Lavender Honey. The honey pairing for Sleepwell tea is Lavender Honey. Since it was a 3 pack, I got $1 off each bottle and my total came out to $42.00. You can customize your own 3 or 4 pack. The 3 or 4 pack also comes with a wooden honey dipper/stirrer stick or a tea infuser. Since I got more tea, I got the tea infuser. Went shopping in Mystic Village and came across this store. Oh my goodness the stuff they had made with locally produced honey was unbelievable. I ended up buying chocolate honey butter. It is absolutely delicious. They had so many flavors of spreads you gotta go and taste test them all. Plus they had a great collection of gluten free pasta's. I bought the lasagna noodles for my daughter to try as she and 2 kids are severe gluten allergy. They have tried many brands but nothing so far says yes we found a good tasting pasta. I've been here a couple of times but the most recent was with my husband (I highly recommend visiting with a Taurus because they will encourage you to sample every flavor with them). The staff here are absolutely amazing. We were greeted by a nice woman with an energetic attitude. She was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit in Sticky Situations and the attached olive oil shop. This shop is quite amazing! It sells all kinds of flavored honey, mustard, butter, maple syrup, and loose tea leaves. You can sample everything in the shop and smell every tea they sell. Just dab a wooden stick in the honey and toss it in the trash can and grab a new stick! I decided to relive my childhood by sampling some butter (kids do weird things). I had my husband try the garlic butter and he fell in love with it-so much so that we bought two bottles of it! We ended up doing the package deal by ordering 4 large bottles (Lemon Honey, Rosemary Honey, Rosebud Tea, and Garlic Butter). We also purchased another large bottle of the same butter because it was just that good. My husband and I come to the store on a regular basis and we always have a good experience, but this time was so spectacular I felt I needed to leave a review. We visited on Saturday, March 8 and I was there to pick up some balsamic vinegar. The tall gentleman who helped me was very informative, asked a lot of great questions to find out what flavors I liked and let me sample numerous vinegars to see what I like best for my salads. He also introduced me to grapeseed oil, which is lighter, and this one had a scallion flavoring, which was delicious. Meanwhile, my husband went to pick up an apple syrup and found that they sell bee pollen. The container had a sticker on it that said it was good for allergies so he asked the blonde woman working in the honey area about it, and she gave him tons of great information, including the fact that we can give the bee pollen to our dog to help with her skin allergies. When I came over and picked up a jar of orange blossom honey for our daughter, saying she wanted something for her cornbread, the woman told me I should try the sage honey. She gave me a taste and told me it had less glucose so it wouldn't crystallize like some of the other ones do. It was delicious and I never would've tried it if she hadn't offered. I work in visitor experience and these two are top-notch customer service employees. I would be proud if they worked for me and Sticky Situations is lucky to have them. We stepped into Sticky Situations on a whim, as we were just walking around the village on a whim. First, staff were extremely friendly, super nice, and very helpful. Their tasting methods are great. Each jar of honey has four little holes at the top cap where you can fit tiny wooden coffee stirrers in. You get to try a little bit of honey and you don't have to worry about other people's germs getting into it. This is always why I never try honey when I'm at stores or markets. Everyone's grubby hands are always touching the honey! We felt super safe trying all the honey options. We ended up buying three large jars in their sampler box, which offers $1 off each jar. Some of the flavors that stood out to me where: Habanero (very hot), Dark Chocolate (tastes exactly like dark chocolate), Passion Fruit (too sweet). There are two stores in one; the honey, syrup and butter portion called Sticky Situations, and the olive oil, pasta, vinegar area called Extra Virgin. When we walked in, we were promptly greeted and told of specials and how to taste test the various products. Everything felt safe during the time of COVID and so I tasted. There were so many different honeys available and there was a map with hive locations, which was really cool. Each honey had a card attached to it with where the hive is located and how to use it. I ended up falling hard for the lavender honey and habanero honey, as well as a dark chocolate espresso balsamic. The habanero has a nice bite at the end and I purchased it to add to cocktails. They have honey, maple syrups, oils and vinegars and butters, pasta & sauces and more . The honeys come in a lot of flavors : Maple, coffee bean , green apple, garlic, salted caramel, avocado, sage, alfalfa, passion fruit and key lime are some of the ones I saw. There bees they own are sent two local farms throughout the U.S . They create the flavors and are sold here in small (8.95) and large jars (14.95) . Butter flavors I liked was honey, elderberry, lemon chili. Maple syrups were dark amber & light . Vinegars : pomegranate,pineapple coconut, Meyer lemon and a champagne or amongst my favorites. The olive oil had garlic, sun-dried tomato we're really good. They had small cups for the vinegar/oils to taste and they have sticks that you put inside a container for tasting the butter and honey. read more

This place is AWESOME! Locally harvested honey infused with some really cool flavors- sweet or savory. For instance, there's a blueberry honey and there's a chipotle honey, just everything you need. The shop also has a side for oils and vinegars, also house made. They've also got imported pastas and pasta sauces. My husband and I were totally amazed and even more won over by the amazing staff! There are tasting stations all over the room, maybe 15 of them, with several different honeys on each side.
