That's almost year long fishing license prices! If it was heavily stocked and taken care of really well and updated I may actually drop the money here and there but not for the low water levels and that they are doing to the property is exactly what they did to El Casco Lakes Resort right down the street! Crazy because I use to fish all the lakes they mentioned growing up and what happened to one I do believe is happening to this one. Enjoy the article as it was very informative!

Well stocked RV Masters store down the hill if you have any issues. If you are bringing a trailer or RV and expect to have full hookups, please be warned. The location of the sewer hookup on many sites is at the back end of the site that is uphill from your dump outlet and no way you can actually use it even with hose supports. The water hookup is also in some cases a shared 4 bib in the adjacent camp so you will be tripping over your hose. So be prepared to dry camp so your trip isn't stressful. Meaning fill your water and drain your tanks. Electrical worked fine for us. But the outlets are 30a so if you have a 50a rig, bring your adapter. The fire rings can be moved if you need them in another place to not have smoke in your rv so that nice. There is a store and the bathrooms are real toilets not pit, cleaned and kept stocked and they have showers if you need. They have 2 RV dump stations that are free when you stay but only 1 has working water for flushing. Overall , we would camp again with the expectation of dry camping, but the prices should reflect the inability to actually have "full hookups".

He's the introduction to the wonderful day you will have at this beautiful pond. Ernie is not bossy or intrusive. He only wants you to have a good time, be safe and enjoy your day. If you ASK him, he'll show you where the baby ducks and water fowl babies are. He clearly treasures them and seeing them can only enhance your visit. I loved my fishing visit to Little Lake. It is so peaceful, so beautiful, so relaxing there. I live in the Pasadena area which is a 4-5 hr.drive round trip. But it's definitely worth the effort. I'm an 84 yr.old fisherwomen and I loved every moment of my 8 hr. fishing experience here. I caught bass and bluegill. Can't get better than that. At one point I was fishing in an area that was not safe for me: too slippery a shoreline, high gravel banks.... Ernie came over and said, "Mama, this is not a good place for you. Let me help you out of there and move your stuff to a safer area." He was right and he did that for me. Thanks,Ernie. I love the easy, friendly conversations between fishing "people," in general, they are never are competitive: "What bait are you using? How deep are you fishing?" This camaraderie was alive and well at Little Lake. This pond is not for anglers who only care about the best and the biggest fish. This oasis is for those of us who just want to experience the best of nature and the best of human interactions.

I live in Orange County and visit family near Loma Linda and make time to drive through Oak Glen and hike with my dog and cat at the Wildlands Conservancy. This is such a magical place and brings me much peace. It is beautiful, peaceful and from the tall sequoias to the tropical rainforest like trees, wild birds flying and chirping through them, sound of the woodpeckers and the fog rolling over the lake, it feels like a fairy tale. My pets love hiking here as well. Both entrance and parking at the Conservancy are free. It is very family and pet friendly with a petting zoo and food stands toward the other side as you drive in. There are also areas with picnic tables near the trails. The trails are very scenic and fairly easy with a portion that is somewhat steep which I would consider slightly moderate but not difficult. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this hidden gem.
