My husband and I were concerned we had mold in our kitchen and on the back door. Daniel's expert-level knowledge of mold and household allergens is beyond impressive and he is able to communicate that "scary" information very clearly. He's extremely thorough and wrote out a 4-page report about what he observed and his recommendations, complete with photos of the suspect areas. Mold can be an intimidating issue and Daniel was honest about pricing, testing, remediation, DIY cleanup, etc. and was very reassuring that this was something my husband and I didn't have to worry financially about. We now have a handyman contact thanks to Daniel. (He even gave us a restaurant recommendation that we can't wait to try!) Smith Environmental was worth every penny and more. We were able to sit and talk through the report together after his inspection before he "polished" it up (but I thought it looked great then and there!). He explained the systems and went into detail to ensure that we understood everything that we had questions about (and even some items that I didn't have questions on). Our agent also mentioned that we had some questions on sump pumps, and he even prepared a sump pump 101 that I could print to review. He absolutely nailed. He came out and what we didn't know was he put on paper that do to our proximity to the ash coal issue would do power that he would be skeptical of the whale for our property. When are Bank found out about this we were denied our loan and we were already well into the process so we got denied and then denied by other Banks because of his choice of words which we were miles outside the warning cone of the power. Weve got the state involved now...the worst part of it all is even Duke power said that we were miles outside the edge of the warning cone and if there was nothing to suggest that we had any type of contamination.but all the banking institutes rely on his choice of words and will not loan due to this issue because no one can say to a teenth tea that there is no contamination due to what the contaminants have is in every water source in North America so therefore their not going to take the liability.this man knew that he was miles away from the contamination area and he steal put this in the paperwork and never even once let us know anything about him doing so if he would have then we would have shown him paperwork from Duke power and the state saying that we were perfectly fine! terrible thing to do to a family, should be ashamed

So the guy tried to upsell me to $410 for the extra 3 vents.... I said well just do the 14 vents and he stated "they could not do that". This company is an upsell SCAM who will waste your time and mental energy. I was upset as I took the morning off of work to be home for this "deal". When I told the Tech I was angry about them wasting my time on an upsell and that if I can't trust them now I could never trust them to do actual work on my home he got a little mouthly. I literally escorted him to the door.
