The cinnamon rolls taste like it's made from Bisquick, not a fan. The parking is horrible, maybe six vehicles might be able to fit in this tiny parking lot. Other than that. You might want to wear some tennis shoes because you'll be walking either across from a very busy road or in back of the restaurant down a road. Biscuits are my jam and Stilesboro has my favorite biscuits in the Atlanta area. A tad bit of a hike out to Kennesaw but totally worth it. I'm particularly fond of doing a hike up the mountain and then stopping by afterwards to gorge myself on biscuity goodness. My favorite biscuits are probably the country ham biscuit and the pork tenderloin biscuit. Oh and make sure you grab a homemade cinnamon roll when you order. They are the size of an entire takeout container and are served warm with this awesome frosting. One cinnamon roll is big enough to share. Or keep for yourself if you aren't the sharing type. CINNAMON ROLL This is hands down the BEST cinnamon roll I've ever had. I think there's a touch of orange zest to the roll but it is so addicting. The roll is thick but fluffy and just melts in your mouth. Best item on the menu. RED HOT SAUSAGE BISCUIT My favorite biscuit here. It's not too spicy at all although they say it is. Just a slight kick and lots of flavor. The sausage is actually a hot dog like sausage, cut in half and split...not a patty. CHICKEN BISCUIT Plain chicken and biscuit. Well done but it's not for me. I need egg and cheese and more flavor to the chicken but my friend loves it. EGG AND CHEESE I didn't have this but my friend really liked it. GRITS I didn't add anything to it and I should have. Um, I kinda wish I hadn't given this place five stars initially, because they deserve a bazillion star upgrade for their homemade cinnamon rolls. HOLY. MOLY. These things are a gooey, cinnamon-y, warm-frosting-covered giant takeout container full of deliciousness. Their biscuits are awesome, but this cinnamon roll takes it to another level. Many people say "My mouth is watering just thinking about it," but I literally just had to get up and get a snack mid-review writing from recalling the taste of this roll. It is a must order, but I recommend sharing with a friend (it's big). If you don't bring your own friend, you'll make one fast when you offer to share this cinnamon roll. And, as if I didn't love this homey, hole-in-the-wall biscuit shack enough, they push one of their four tables to the side on (generally) the last Saturday of the month to make way for a live bluegrass band. In the tiny little restaurant, the music literally shakes the rafters, and I loved that the owner popped out with a real washboard from the kitchen and joined right in on some songs. And the band isn't just folksy and cute y'all, they are darn good. If you're a gospel-y person, they will play a few songs that are guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye. So I am a fan but I am a reluctant fan. I used to frequent on a regular basis but took work in another state. So it has been a little more than 9 months since my last visit. I could not wait to mew my maw wrapped around one of their biscuits. I zipped over at my earliest opportunity. I was a bit disappointed. They are still really good, but it was almost like they started using some frozen product (chicken). The gravy also did not seem to be quite what I remembered and did not taste like the old 'homemade' stuff, but more of an instant gravy. I may have been having an off day, but there you go. If you have just a stand alone biscuit with jam and or sausage patty, I think you will be very happy with the decision to stop by. read more

This is a perfect example of what you get when you staff a restaurant with teenagers. I called this morning to order a single biscuit, a process that would've taken maybe 30-45 seconds. I get asked to be placed on hold which I don't mind. The issue is they never returned to pick the phone back up. While on hold I was able to hear everything that happened in the 20+ minutes plus that I was left on hold and they idn't appear to be that busy. Their Google page clearly says in-store pick up which is what I was trying to do. If they don't wanna do in-store pick up I understand that and that's their right however don't advertise it and waste my morning as I sit on hold. I was trying to be patient in case they were busy but I finally hung up after I was able to drive from Barrett Parkway past their restaurant all the way to Chick-fil-A and buy my breakfast there. Probably got a better biscuit. I won't come back. read more

Pulling up you'll see a fun little shack that looks run down. Apparently this was an old service station. As you open the screen door and enter you are overwhelmed with colorful pictures and decorations. A smiling face greets you (if there isn't a line) I lucked out. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. The bacon was thick and crisp, the egg was just slightly runny, a nice thick slice of melty cheese finishes up. Oh wait no, normally the bread is an after thought, but not here the biscuit is what shines. Soft, warm, just thick and heavy enough. This may be the best biscuit I've ever had. Self serve coffee that was pretty good and you have yourself a good breakfast on the go. Friendly people, not expensive in the least, and good food. read more
