I do appreciate that they offer a military and 1st responders discount to their already reasonable prices. The menu has quite a few choices, from sweet to savory, heavy to healthy. And it doesn't take them long at all to get your food to you. If you're dining in, you get real silverware and food brought to your table. If you order to go, they'll bring your bag right to you with everything you need in a bag. Love the space and brightness of this diner. There's even an enormous round table available for larger groups! (They need a lazy susan on that one!) There are tables and umbrellas up front as well. Then there's the gigantic butter biscuits that you can order, either with gravy all over it or plain. They're delicious either way! I ordered a power bowl with fried chicken instead of bacon, and it was amazing!! So tasty. Super filling! The atmosphere is casual/laid back and the food is consistently solid. My wife ordered the squawking goat and I ordered the five and dine - both were great! We really enjoyed them. There were a lot of people and the restaurant did a good job of keeping it moving. My only ding on the place was it was kind of dirty - you're supposed to take your plate to the dishes bin and it was full to the literal max before plates would start spilling out. The group beside us left their plates on the table after giving the plate return a stern look. I was able to share both with my daughter and we both had ice coffee's. I found the pricing was rather expensive our order was $35 and we shared the breakfast entree . We originally ordered hash browns however was told it would take 25 minutes so we ordered fried green tomatoes. i thought this was expensive for breakfast so I would recommend going if you can afford to spend $50 on two people definitely try this place or share an entree and spend a little less as we did. This place just opened and really probably shouldn't have yet. First off, it's likely to be packed given the name recognition alone, we came in at 1pm and the line was 6 parties deep with most every table taken up. The setup at the front is pretty awful, with that many in line you're literally in front of the door in everyone's way going in and out. You're also greeted with trash cans and bus trays overflowing with trash and used plates/utensils. During our entire visit (about an hr long), both bus trays stay piled up, which of course resulted in them nearly out of clean utensils. This place is not full service, you walk in, place your order, give "your fav music artist/band name" for some unknown reason (what's wrong with your name or just. #??), then are left to fend for yourself in finding a place to sit. Luckily (I guess) by the time we finished ordering it was 1:20 and the place was starting to thin out a little. That revealed a second issue, the fact that the staff has 0 interest in wiping down any tables or picking up anything off the floor, so if you didn't pack your own wet wipes or similar, you're going to be eating on some dirty tables. 15 min after ordering, the issue with being quizzed on your favorite artist revealed itself as someone else who'd also picked the same artist got their order called, so after some confusion we realized we went up there for nothing. 20 min after ordering my friend finally got her latte (I get it's not Starbucks but why it takes that long to make one is beyond me. 30 min after ordering we finally get our order called and managed to snag 2 of the 3 clean forks left in the containers. Our order consisted of the five and a dime (chicken egg cheese biscuit with bacon and gravy), the farmer (chicken and cheese biscuit with bacon and apple butter), and the sunny o'Ryan (potatoes with cheese ham peppers onions topped with a couple eggs). Out of the 3 only the potatoes were hot, clearly the last thing to be prepared. Portion on the smaller size but at least it tasted pretty good. Both biscuits were lacking mainly bc they were cold, but also bc the chicken was incredibly dry. Aside from that there was simply too much apple butter for my friends liking as it was already overly sweet. All in all pretty disappointing, there are many comparable places much better organized nearby for me to come back and pay $10-13 for biscuit entree, in an environment where I get a tip screen shoved in my face when the "community" is expected to clean up after itself and they can't be bothered to do much of anything. read more

Ok- so I went on one day by myself and another day with my family. Day 1: the biscuit was delicious. It was moist, light and warm. I saw the guy rolling them out taking great care with the dough (as he should) and his attention to detail paid off. Let's start with the biscuits which were vastly different than the one I had the first time and I should've figured it would be that way because the guy on biscuits today was working the heck outta that dough which resulted in a much denser, dryer biscuit which put a frown on my face because I raved about the biscuits to everyone. Biscuits may be hit or miss depending on who's making em. The gravy, both sausage and mushroom, was too thick (gloppy) and it really didn't have the kick the menu implied it would have. It also tasted like the flour wasn't cooked out enough. Also, the gravies tasted exactly the same. I expected there to be a difference in flavor especially for the mushroom gravy. Maple sausage balls were delicious- I could eat a dozen! Chicken on the biscuit needed more flavor and the strawberry-jalapeño jam was missing which was a total bummer. The goat cheese was a good addition but there wasn't enough to ensure you had some with each bite- give it to us! Give ya the cheese! Portions are large. The staff is very nice. Wait is super long but they are still new. be prepared to chill a bit. Seating is good for dine in but not a lot of space if you're waiting for to go orders and you don't want to take up a dine in space. Would I go back- ummmm I guess if someone else wanted to go but I'm not sure I'd go on my own. There were just a lot more misses than hits and since the hits weren't bangin'....nope. I've since found out that this chain, native to Jacksonville, Fl, runs just shy of 60 locations around the country and was acquired by Cracker Barrel in 2019. Good news or bad news, depending on your opinions of CB. What I ordered: - Lil Grace from the kid's menu: described as "half of a chocolate waffle topped with strawberries, powdered sugar, whipped cream and maple syrup. Mott's apple juice box on the side." - Retro fried chicken biscuit: described as "flaky biscuit with all natural fried chicken breast" - Maple sausage meatballs: described as "five of our house-made sausage balls seasoned with Bissell family farm's real maple syrup. Served with house-made B2 jam." - Drip coffee - Maple tap: described as "medium roast with earthy notes of smoke and cocoa, while maintaining smooth, yet heavy body and adding maple flavoring for a sweet taste of maple on the finish" What I got: - Lil Grace from the kid's menu: literally just a half of a chocolate chip waffle. No condiments or toppings as described, nor did we receive the drink that was described to come with it. While my four year old proclaimed, "this is the yummiest!," my momma wallet cried for the $8.05 I paid for literally half of a waffle. - Retro fried chicken biscuit: not chicken breast as described, nor how it was pictured. We received two pale chicken tenders that were incredibly grizzled. We had to deconstruct the biscuit and tenders to eat it. The batter slipped off the chicken with every bite. Came here on a busy Saturday morning. Pro tip: if you're coming with a group, have 1 person scour for a table while others order because seating can be a challenge. This location does not serve alcohol yet which was disappointing but okay. They have all kinds of coffee available. The friwaffle was good! A lot of good menu choices. Parking can be a challenge. It's a order at the counter kind of place. Just seemed kind of messy. Like not enough help to bus and clean tables. And they ran out of clean knives when we were there.
