If you're looking for the best nightlife spot in Greenville then you found it!! If your feeling like dancing to a DJ on the main floor, you got it! After dancing in the main nightclub area just walk out of that room to the Tiki Bar area for a cold beer. As you go up each of the 3 floors there's a different vibe. The 2nd floor has the rooftop Sky bar which is a more quiet, upscale, area with a bar and seating and a another awesome area to chill & have a drink. If you're feeling REAL fancy (and you're above 25) then DEFINITELY go up to the 3rd floor & check out The Loft. It's the uppermost floor with the most beautiful decor theme, nice tile floors, and large couches surrounding fire pits where you can sit back with your friends/family and listen to live music with an amazing bar up there as well! I was in Greenville from out of town a month ago, visiting ECU and decided to check out the downtown scene. A lot of the bars were not impressive but then I stumbled upon Still Life. This place was incredible!! 1. The cover was very reasonable, and so were the drink prices, especially on a Thursday night. Definitely fits a college student's budget. 2. The lines are not as ridiculous as PB's right next door, so you can get in quickly and have fun. 3. The people here are attractive. 4. They play great music! There is an outdoor area for drinking and socializing, and an indoor area for dancing, etc... you know, the typical nightclub vibe. I was however out there tryna spend a quarter thang but the bar tender was locking eyes with me still serving everyone else around me. Horrible service from that female and dude with a beard. The big homie Adam in the back bar though, he's the real one! The place was hot tooo, hellllllllllllaaaaa thottties so I was vibin'! We drove 2 hours to come here and party. Several of my friends and I got in the establishment and we're having a decent time. My other friend finally made it to the bar and attempted to get in, keep in mind my friend is from African descent, and he's wearing Michael Jordan sneakers. While I was in the bar I personally witnessed several individuals wearing basketball shoes. I feel like my friends and I were discriminated against, and that is unacceptable. I really like this place. Good environment, good bartenders, good service, overall good place. I really recommend this place. Only problem is bouncers like to use force to kick people out. As closing time approached, I wanted to do go upstairs to close my tab and tip the bartender for their great service. Bouncer did not allow me back up stairs saying that the bar doesn't hold cards. I understood that, but I wanted to tip for the good service. The bouncer did not let me through for some weird reason. I explained to him all I wanted to do was close my tab and tip the bartender. I disagreed with the bouncer for not letting me tip the bartender. The bouncer instead decided to use force and throw me out into the parking lot. It didn't make sense that I was being forced out because I wanted to appreciate the service. I was thrown out by 3 dudes through the back door with the back of my head hitting the concrete and my elbow bleeding. I understand they have a difficult job, but they need to show some professionalism & discipline. It was ironic the bouncers wear shirts that say, "peacemaker" on the back. Me and my friends tried to go here for college night, and they said they wouldn't let my friend in because of "dress code violations". We read the dress code poster and then witnessed at least three other girls walk in with dress code violations. If you're going to have have a enforced dress code it should be for everyone. Not just a select few people. "You can't go in but you guys can", that's not fair. This is one of the most popular clubs in Greenville and that distinction is not unwarranted. The music is pretty good in the club section, and there is also an outside bar that you can go to if the club is too crowded and/or hot (it typically is), or if you just don't enjoy dancing and prefer meeting people and chatting with them. They also added a sky bar for customers who are over 21, which is great, and a loft for customers over 25. I don't imagine there are too many 25 year olds going to Still Life, but its a nice gesture. Overall, this a solid club and a place I would definitely recommend if you enjoy dancing. The only cons are that the dance floor, and really the entire club section, are incredibly packed on weekends, and the drinks are a bit pricey compared to other bars in Greenville. read more

I want to personally thank Travis and his staff for a great party spot this past weekend 5/7/16 for our sons graduation party. Travis went above and beyond to make sure our day was great and without any glitches. Although they are usually not a venue for this sort of event they had no issues or problems being a great host and did us proud. The service was great the bar staff was awesome and Travis must of asked us 1000 times if everything was good or if we had any issues just to make sure we were happy. It was a truly caring and concerned question for us. Again THANK YOU Travis and staff for a great night We will be back in the future as always. #1 spot to party for mostly ECU freshman and sophomores. If you're 21 and over, the drinks are expensive and there's sloppy kids everywhere. The music is good for the most part, but they always end up with a shit ton of EDM music where it seems like you walked into a European disco. The staff is really rude except for the door girls who are always sweet. The bouncers are douchebags and so are the bartenders. It's always packed cause it's a small space. The lines move slowly even when there's barely anyone inside, but that's cause they want it to look poppin. So there's more negatives than positives going to Stillife. I recommend going to 5th annex instead only cause it's bigger, cheaper drinks, nicer staff, and the best music. read more
